The mission of the Fulton Theatre Company is to create and produce exceptional theatre that moves the collective soul of our community and honors our national historic landmark. This mission is accomplished through the following programs:

FULTON THEATRE

A professional regional theatre company nurturing the mind and soul of the community through a season of plays designed uniquely for today’s Lancaster audience and impacting the national theatre community by commissioning and producing world premieres and re-imagined works of note. We produce six Mainstage Series productions, four Tell Studio productions and four Eichmann Family Theatre Series productions each season. All series are available as subscription packages.

THE FULTON ACADEMY OF THEATRE, a yearround program of classes for adults and youth that explore the tools of theatre making and the wonders of creative expression.

WORKSHOPS AND RESIDENCIES in the region’s schools transform classrooms as students engage with professional Teaching Artists to spark creativity, collaborate, and become better problem solvers.

DISCOUNTED STUDENT MATINEE PERFORMANCES, which have introduced tens of thousands of young people throughout the region to the art of live theatre.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICES that allow everyone in our community to enjoy our Mainstage and Family Series productions. These services include, Pay-What-You-Want performances, American Sign Language interpretation, Open Captioning and Spanish translation, as well as assistive listening devices available for all performances.

The Fulton is a member of the National Alliance for Musical Theatre and operates under an agreement between the League of Resident Theatres (LORT) and Actors’ Equity Association, the Union for Professional Actors and Stage Managers in the United States. It also employs members of Stage Directors and Choreographers Society and United Scenic Artists.

He is a Pequea Valley High School senior with ambitions to pursue Musical Theatre in college. MELISSA FARACI (Ensemble/Maria, u/s Violet) (she/her) is delighted to be back at The Fulton! Fulton credits; It Happened in Key West, In the Heights, The Very Fractured Tale of Robin Hood (TYA), Suessical (TYA) and The Addams Family. Before moving to Lancaster, she spent several years traveling and performing on cruise ships. Now, she spends her time taking pictures and playing the most important role as mama to Lucy. MATTHEW IRANI (Ensemble) is excited to be making his Fulton Theatre debut in the cast of 9 to 5! He was last seen in the ensemble/featured dancer of Fiddler on the Roof at Theater Harrisburg. Matthew was nominated for a Hershey Theater Apollo Award in 2021, for his role of Terry Connor in Side Show at CD East High School. He is a dance instructor at Richie School of Dance. MCGEE MADDOX* (Ensemble/Detective, u/s Dwayne) A South Carolina native, Mr. Maddox learned to dance from Carlos Agudelo and Lona Gomez. After spending time as a principal dancer with the National Ballet of Canada(Toronto) he made his broadway tour debut in 2017 as Jerry Mulligan in the first national tour of An American in Paris. That was followed by the first national tour of the broadway revival of Cats as The Rum Tum Tugger. He’s excited to make his debut at The Fulton and would like to thank his Family and Friends for their support.

BEN MICHAEL* (Ensemble/ Dick, u/s Hart/Tinsworthy) is excited to be back at The Fulton after appearing in Legally Blonde as Emmett and in Shear Madness in the studio last spring. GRIFFIN ALLEN (Lighting Designer) is grateful to be in his second season here at the Fulton. Griffin’s previous designs here include Misery, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Shear Madness, and Ragtime. Over the years, he’s had the opportunity to work in five states spanning over 2,500 miles including multiple seasons at the Lexington Theatre Company and Tuacahn Amphitheatre. BOB CLINE (Casting Director) is thrilled to have been the NY casting director for the Fulton for over a decade. He was recently named one of Broadway’s 10 best by BroadwayWorld.com. Bob has been the casting director for over 70 national tours, TV, film, commercials, and over 35 regional theaters over the past 23 years. He also freelances as a director (In the Heights, Fulton 2017; Quisisana Resort 14’-22’), and has been a Professor of Musical Theatre at Several Universities for the last 21 years. He is the proud Creative Director of Broadway Artist Alliance, enjoys working with The Open Jar Institute, and often teaches nightly for The Actor’s Connection and The Actor’s loft. DUANE MCDEVITT* (Assistant Stage Manager) (Coatesville, PA) has 35 years of experience onstage/backstage, incl. 15 in Stage Mgmt. Backstage technician/scenic carpenter experience: Roundabout Theatre, Manhattan Theatre Club, Lincoln Center, Maine State Music Theatre, McGuire Scenic, Sightline Fabrication. Onstage highlights: Camelot (Natl Tour w/Robert Goulet), San Diego Opera, Westchester Bway Theatre, Carnegie Hall soloist, Lead Vocalist on luxury world cruises. WILLIAM JAMES MOHNEY (Scenic Designer) this upstate New York native moved to Lancaster, PA in 2006 to work for the Fulton Theatre and never looked back. Credits include The Woman in Black (BroadwayWorld Regional Award), And Then There Were None (BroadwayWorld nomination), The Addams Family, Venus in Fur, Other Desert Cities, Veronica’s Room, The Mousetrap, Annie Get Your Gun, Once (Richmond Critics Circle nomination), Murder on the Orient Express, and ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. He would like to thank his dear friend Marc Robin for continuing to believe in him and his wife Samaria and little Charlotte for their constant love and support. A giant thank you to the Fulton staff for their passion, skill, and talent.

PATRICIA RESNIK (Book) Patricia Resnick has enjoyed a successful and varied career in film, television, and theatre. She wrote the original screenplay for the film 9 to 5, a comedy classic and one of the top-grossing films of all time. Under the tutelage of her mentor Robert Altman, she co-authored A Wedding (British Academy Award and Writer’s Guild nominations) and Quintet starring Paul Newman. Other films include Maxie (Glenn Close) and Straight Talk, which reunited her with Dolly Parton. She has written numerous pilots for television for networks including Showtime, CBS and FX and her seven produced made for television movies include The Battle of Mary Kay starring Shirley MacLaine and Parker Posey who both gave Golden Globe-nominated performances. She was the exec producer and head writer of a series based on the children’s book Olivia for the Nick Jr. network. Her theatre work includes her Drama Desk nominated book for the Broadway musical 9 to 5 which garnered four Tony nominations, sketches for Lily Tomlin’s first one-woman Broadway show Appearing Nightly, and a stage musical adaptation of her own PBS movie Ladies in Waiting which originated at the Woodstock (Illinois) Summer Playhouse and later moved to the Lyric Opera House in Chicago. She worked as a consulting producer on the final season of Mad Men and on the ABC Family drama Recovery Road. She is currently working on a 9 to 5 film sequel as well as being co-executive producer for a new Netflix show based on Armistead Maupin’s Tales of the City.

MARC ROBIN (Director/Choreographer) began 22 years ago (guest director in 2001 for Evita), Artistic Director in 2009, and is now in his 7th year as Executive Artistic Producer. He has staged over 450 productions including shows in London, New York, Chicago, and California. He has garnered many awards including Joseph Jefferson, Barrymoore, Vicky and BroadwayWorld to name a few. When he isn’t at the Fulton, he can be found at his second home at Maine State Music Theatre in Brunswick, Maine where he recently began his 17th Season.
