The mission of the Fulton Theatre Company is to create and produce exceptional theatre that moves the collective soul of our community and honors our national historic landmark. This mission is accomplished through the following programs:

FULTON THEATRE
A professional regional theatre company nurturing the mind and soul of the community through a season of plays designed uniquely for today’s Lancaster audience and impacting the national theatre community by commissioning and producing world premieres and re-imagined works of note. We produce six Mainstage Series productions, four Tell Studio productions and four Eichmann Family Theatre Series productions each season. All series are available as subscription packages.

THE FULTON ACADEMY OF THEATRE, a yearround program of classes for adults and youth that explore the tools of theatre making and the wonders of creative expression.

WORKSHOPS AND RESIDENCIES in the region’s schools, such as Building Bridges and Neighborhood Bridges, in partnership with the celebrated Children’s Theatre Company in Minneapolis.
DISCOUNTED STUDENT MATINEE
PERFORMANCES, which have introduced tens of thousands of young people throughout the region to the art of live theatre.
ACCESSIBILITY SERVICES that allow everyone in our community to enjoy our Mainstage and Family Series productions. These services include, Pay-What-You-Want performances, American Sign Language interpretation, Open Captioning and Spanish translation, as well as assistive listening devices available for all performances.
The Fulton is a member of the National Alliance for Musical Theatre and operates under an agreement between the League of Resident Theatres (LORT) and Actors’ Equity Association, the Union for Professional Actors and Stage Managers in the United States. It also employs members of Stage Directors and Choreographers Society and United Scenic Artists.

PAUL BLACK (Scenic & Lighting Designer) is excited to be working again with Marc Robin and all his friends at the Fulton Theatre. JORGE COUSINEAU (Video Designer) is a filmmaker and theater designer. His work has been seen and heard internationally, regionally, and all over Philadelphia, his home for over 20 years. Recently re-located to Biddeford, Maine, Jorge is a recipient of two Independence Foundation Fellowship grants, a Lucille Lortel Award in New York City, and several Philadelphia Barrymore Awards. He was awarded the F. Otto Haas Award for Emerging Theater Artist and is a recipient of the Pew Fellowship in the Arts.

TIMOTHY MARKUS (Production Stage Manager) 14th Season! He’s toured nationally with Mary Poppins and internationally with Porgy and Bess. He’s also worked with the Public Theater, the Guthrie Theater, and the Milwaukee Rep. During the pandemic he acted as a logistics lead for mass vaccination sites. Proud dog dad to a mutt named Waffle!
MARC ROBIN (Director/Choreographer) began 21 years ago (guest director in 2001 for Evita), Artistic Director in 2009, and is now in his 6th year as Executive Artistic Producer.) He has staged over 450 productions including shows in London, New York, Chicago, and California. He has garnered many awards including Joseph Jefferson, Barrymoore, Vicky and BroadwayWorld to name a few. When he isn’t at the Fulton, he can be found at his second home at Maine State Music Theatre in Brunswick Maine where he recently began his 16th Season.

PETER STONE (Story & Book) was the first writer to win the Tony, the Oscar and the Emmy. With 15 Broadway productions to his credit, he received Tony Awards for his books to 1776, Woman Of The Year, The Will Rogers Follies and Titanic (all four also winning the Tony for Best Musical). His other Broadway credits include the musicals Two by Two (written with composer Richard Rodgers and lyricist Martin Charnin), My One and Only and Sugar. With Erich Maria Remarque he collaborated on the Broadway play Full Circle and in 1999 he adapted the book for the Tony winning revival of Annie Get Your Gun. The author of more than two dozen feature films, he won an Academy Award for his screenplay Father Goose, the Edgar (Mystery Writers of America Award) for his film Charade (remade in 2002), and the Christopher Award for the screen adaptation of his own musical, 1776. Among his other films are The Taking of Pelham 1-2-3, Mirage, Arabesque, Sweet Charity, Skin Game, Who’s Killing the Great Chefs of Europe? and Just Cause. His television credits included the acclaimed CBS series The Defenders (earning an Emmy Award) and the libretto adaptation of George Bernard Shaw’s Androcles and the Lion, with songs by Richard Rodgers (NBC, 1967; stage premiere, 2002). From 1981-1999, Mr. Stone was President of The Dramatists Guild, the national society of playwrights, composers and lyricists.

KATELIN WALSKO (Props Designer) Propping the Fulton since 2010! Some of her favorite creations: faux bearskin rug (And Then There Were None); Fester’s rocketpack (Addams Family); Lumier’s candle hands (Beauty and the Beast); Audrey II hand puppets (Little Shop); break-away leg lamp (A Christmas Story); and dressing the set of In The Heights. Katelin attended the 2003 PA Governor’s School for the Arts and holds a BFA in Theatre Design/Technology from UArts, Phila. Love and props to everyone in the Fulton Family!
MAURY YESTON (Music & Lyrics) Maury Yeston’s music and lyrics include his internationally acclaimed Broadway musicals Nine and Titanic (both of which earned him Tony Awards for Best Score and Best Musical, as well as Grammy nominations) and Grand Hotel (Tony nomination, Olivier Award). The Broadway revival of Nine, starring Antonio Banderas, won an additional Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical. Yeston received Academy Award, Golden Globe and Critics Choice nominations for Best Original Song for the film of Nine, which featured Daniel Day Lewis, Sophia Loren, Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman and Judi Dench. OffBroadway are his additional musicals: Phantom, Death Takes a Holiday and In The Beginning. He works in a wide variety of styles, from his symphonic Tom Sawyer – A Ballet in Three Acts, which premiered in Kansas City, Missouri as the first full-length ballet in our history to be created by an American composer and choreographer and based on an American literary masterpiece, to December Songs (a song-cycle commissioned by Carnegie Hall), his Cello Concerto premiered by YoYo Ma, his American Cantata commissioned by the Kennedy Center (premiered by the National Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Leonard Slatkin) and the concept album Goya – A Life in Song written for Placido Domingo. He resides in New York City.
