A Grade II listed building in the heart of Liverpool 8 & just a mile outside the City Centre, The Florrie is one of the most iconic, yet undiscovered buildings in Liverpool.

In 2018 The Florrie received a National Historic England Angel Award for Best Restoration of a Historic Building after a 23 year community campaign to save it from demolition.

Opened in 1889 as one of the first boys clubs in Britain, The Florrie is seeped in local history, retaining it's unique period features & community spirit.

Our striking Victorian Gymnasium with its glittering glass roof is a great space for all sorts of events. Our Heritage Centre tells the stories of The Florrie & L8 through personal memories of our ‘Old Boys’. Filled with their donated original artefacts & photographs. This is a historical and unique space ideal for smaller meetings & screenings.

Our Community Hub is a self contained space with its own kitchen and toilet facilities. This is an excellent multi-use space that can be totally adapted for your event.

We have a wide variety of Meeting Rooms available in various shapes & sizes. Rooms can be totally transformed to meet your needs and utilised as standalone meeting or breakout rooms for larger events.

COMMUNITY CAFE Our community cafe is ran by volunteers Kath & Bertha. Open Monday to Friday providing a wide range of meals, snacks and hot & cold beverages.
