Theatre Arts Camp Jr. (Ages 5-8)

Broadway Memories!

This fun, interactive camp engages campers in the theatrical aspects of music, dance, theatre, and visual arts. Campers are broken into three groups (depending on enrollment) and rotate through different classes during their mornings at camp. In this camp, your young performer will be introduced to some of the best group scenes and musical numbers from a variety of Broadway's most popular hits. Using scenes and songs from Annie, The Wizard of Oz, Anne of Green Gables and more, your performer will be acting, singing, and dancing their way across the stage. They will also create marquee posters, props, and costume pieces during their art class.

Please note: Due to the age of the students, this program requires active parent participation to assist children with learning their script.

Campers will perform this musical theatre program at a ticketed performance on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 7:00 pm in the Corning Auditorium.

Camp tuition includes: two (2) comp ticket vouchers to this performance, an optional supervised Before Camp Care and Lunch Bunch. Bonus! Each camper receives a special 2025 camp T-shirt! (Cost included in camp tuition)

Optional supervised Before Camp Care from 8:00-9:00 am and Lunch Bunch

from 12:00-1:00 pm are included in the camp tuition. Camp starts officially at 9:00 am and ends at 12:00 pm. Lunch Bunch is perfect for those campers looking for a full-day camp experience, combining this camp with our afternoon Visual Arts Paper, Scissors, Rock Jr. Camp.

Campers should bring a water bottle each day of camp and a packed lunch (No nut-based foods, please) if they are staying for Lunch Bunch.

Theatre Arts Camp (ages 8-18) Razzle Dazzle!

Theatre Arts Camp engages campers in the process and skills involved in performing in a musical play. Classes and rehearsals are designed as lessons in acting methods, dance techniques, and vocal music skills. Camp culminates in a fully staged ticketed production in the final weekend of camp, with the script and songs tailored especially for the talents of the participating campers. This year's show is Razzle Dazzle! The story of aspiring young performers with dreams of stardom, and the bumpy road to get there filled with music, dance, colorful characters, and magic along the way.

Placement audition required for NEW campers only. Returning campers don't need to audition. Each audition will consist of a short song and a monologue. More audition information can be found on our website. Students may register at any time, but new campers need to schedule an audition for placement by calling Customer Experience at 440-951-7500.

Campers will perform this musical theatre program at ticketed performances on July 25, 26 and 27, 2025. Friday, July 25 at 7:30 pm; Saturday, July 26 at 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm; Sunday, July 27 at 2:00 pm in the Corning Auditorium.

Camp tuition includes two (2) comp ticket vouchers for a choice of one of the culminating performances, an optional supervised Before Camp Care from 8:00-9:00 am and After Camp Care from 3:00-4:00 pm. Camp officially begins at 9:30 am and ends at 3:00 pm.
