Beliefs can become so engrained that they define everything we do and everything we don’t! Students have the capacity to adapt, change and expand their belief systems throughout their lives. Beliefs are based on interpretations of the

past, therefore their validity or whether they are helping or be questioned. Students need to acquire an understanding of how to challenge beliefs. Students can begin by reflecting on the beliefs they may have about themselves.
