Dear Members,

Welcome to the autumn edition of Rawson Review. As the leaves change and the weather cools we have an exciting season of events, dining and activities scheduled and we welcome you to your Club.

To begin, I am pleased to share with you the outstanding news of those who were recognised at our Annual Staff Awards for their incredible contribution to The Epping Club. I would also like to thank our industry sponsors; this support allows us to host this special event. We are proud to celebrate and acknowledge our outstanding staff and their efforts to deliver a five star experience.

As I review the next quarter’s activities there is something on offer for everyone. We continue to expand our live entertainment and the revival of the Dirty Dick's Theatre Restaurant is sure to be nostalgic for many. ANZAC Day is an important occasion on the Club’s calendar and we will be offering Two Up once again after the fabulous feedback on last year’s day. Of course our Author’s Luncheon ‘Book Club’ series is continuing and for the first time we will host Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea.

Lastly, I am proud to draw your attention to a special milestone this month, our CEO Peter Saez will receive his 35 year service award - you can read more about this fabulous achievement over the page. On behalf of the Board of Directors and Management I look forward to seeing you at the Club very soon.

Peter Saez Celebrates 35 Years of Visionary Leadership

The Epping Club as you know it today is testament to our CEO Peter Saez's unwavering dedication. His 35-year tenure including the Club’s relocation has seen a transformative journey under his clear vision and steadfast commitment to five star excellence.

Peter’s mantra, "Nothing is a problem, it's always an opportunity," has propelled your Club to win multiple awards across events, tourism, food & beverage, and sustainability. Since taking the helm as CEO in 2005, Peter’s leadership has ensured outstanding staff and member retention and sustained operational profitability. Beyond the club's boundaries, Peter’s impact on the Epping area is profound. His commitment to the Karonga School partnership and the support extended to other ClubGRANTS partners showcases his philanthropic spirit and social responsibility.

Peter's 35 years of leadership have shaped not only The Epping Club's success but also left an indelible mark on the industry and the local community. Congratulations to our CEO, Peter Saez, a visionary leader and paragon of dedication. As we honour his remarkable 35 years of service, we raise a toast to his continued success and innovative vision in the years ahead!

The Anzac Dawn Service will commence at 6am at the Cenotaph in Forest Park (off Blaxland Road) Epping. All veterans who would like to parade, please assemble at the stairs off Blaxland Road at 5:45am to then march together. Should rain prevent this service being held at Forest Park there will be a service held in the foyer of The Epping Club.
