It is our mission to build strong and lasting relationships with all of our guests, partners and our community. We pledge to be good corporate and community partners as well as safeguard the great responsibility for the care and control of the General Motors Centre for which we have been entrusted by the citizens of Oshawa. Message from the General Manager Dear Stephanie, I am proud to provide you with our 2014 Year End Report which highlights the many key events and accomplishments of this remarkable year. Our first quarter was record breaking hosting 32 events in 90 days, 15 in 28 days in February alone. These included a mix of Oshawa Generals and Durham Turfdog games as well as 10 concerts; four of which were sold out featuring Jason Aldean and Florida Georgia Line, Dean Brody, Elton John, and Hedley. The year continued to flourish with the Oshawa Generals advancing to the Eastern Conference finals before bowing out to North Bay, the Harlem Globetrotter set an attendance record in April, Cirque du Soleil Varekai amazed over 17,000 guests over 8 shows in May, Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Heart rocked the GM Centre in June, Jann Arden found herself “in the middle of nowhere” in September, and Dierks Bentley sold out the GMC in December. These shows represent some of the many events that were hosted in 2014 and a complete list is included as part of the Year End Report. 2014 was also highlighted by a number of industry accolades as we were ranked #1 in Canada in our category by Venues Today Magazine, ranked 137th overall in the world by Pollstar Magazine, and was Co-Recipient of the Major Facility of the Year Award in 2014 at Canadian Music Week. I am pleased to report that we hosted 92 events in 2014, surpassing budget by 3 events, welcomed over 322,000 guests and finished the year $110,750 positive to budget. 2015 also looks promising at this time, we are preparing for the OHL Championship Series versus the Erie Otters, have already hosted a sold out Jerry Seinfeld show in January as well as sold out The Tragically Hip and Theresa Caputo shows in April and welcomed WWE back to Oshawa for the first time in over 10 years in May with a sold out event. From July 11th-25th, we will play host to the world’s third largest games for both weightlifting and boxing as part of the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am Games, and in November we will welcome the world’s Top 15 men’s and Top 15 women’s curling teams during the National as part of the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling. On behalf of our Global Spectrum Team, I want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for your leadership, support and guidance throughout the year. I look forward to continuing to build on our successes and the many more exciting things to come. Sincerely, Vince Vella General Manager for Global Spectrum General Motors Centre

Message from the Contract Administrator Dear Vince, Congratulations on a banner year at the General Motors Centre! In 2014, the GMC hosted 7 sold out shows, more than ever before. This is quite an accomplishment! Patrons enjoyed high caliber acts such as Elton John, Jason Aldean with Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bentley and John Fogerty to name a few. These quality acts and robust ticket sales translated into record attendance this year. The Oshawa Generals Hockey Club continues to call the GM Centre home. The Generals were very successful again this year and the partnership with the hockey team will bring even more excitement to the GM Centre as they progress through the playoffs. Go Gens Go! The General Motors Centre remains the premier sports and entertainment destination for the City of Oshawa and continues to capture the attention of the entertainment industry which is evidenced by the numerous awards the GM Centre continues to win or be nominated for. Global Spectrum’s passion for customer service also enhances the fan experience at the GM Centre. The “How You Doin'?” program encourages employees to engage in conversation with customers to make their visit more enjoyable. This type of initiative supports the City’s guiding principles for customer service standards and requires a strong team commitment to consistently provide first-class service. I would like to acknowledge, congratulate and say a tremendous thank-you to all of the staff who work diligently to ensure the continued growth and success of the GM Centre. We are looking forward to more excitement in 2015. Sincerely, Stephanie Sinnott, CPA, CGA Interim Executive Director of Finance/Deputy City Treasurer City of Oshawa

"We had the pleasure of playing a date at the General Motors Centre as part of Heart’s Rockin Heaven - Canada 2014 Tour. It was our first time promoting a show in the facility and the date exceeded all of our expectations. From my first conversations with Vince Vella, through the marketing execution and the day of show operations, everything went very smoothly. There is a first class team in place at GM Centre throughout the entire operation. And of course the sell out business was the icing on top of a great stop on the tour. We are truly looking forward to the next tour we can bring to the GM Centre in Oshawa."

Partner Comments " Our venue partners contribute greatly to our success, and I can’t say enough about the outstanding people at the General Motors Centre. They give us phenomenal support in the marketing, promotion and execution of our show every year, and we are always performing for great crowds. A Harlem Globetrotters show is a family tradition, and we are honored to have the General Motors Centre as part of that tradition." Steve Lucci Director of Booking, Harlem Globetrotters International, Inc.

Paul Mercs President, Paul Mercs Concerts "We truly had a great day and were treated fantastic by Vince and the crew of the General Motors Centre when Dean Brody played his first headline show in the building February 2014. Dean sold out the day after Jason Aldean and Florida Georgia Line played the rink, goes to show how strong of a country market Oshawa, Ontario is. Looking forward to Dean Brody returning later this year with the help of our partners at Live Nation and Steve and everyone at KX96. Thanks again for your hospitality and professionalism" Nick Meinema SRVP - The Agency Group, Nashville, TN page 5

service philosophy used by all Global Spectrum facilities. We at the General Motors Centre are committed to ensuring our fans have an incredible experience from the moment they step through our doors. The way we achieve excellence in customer service is simple, our employees. We have implemented an incentive program; rewarding our employees for going above and beyond their regular job duties for fans. Customers and venue management are welcomed to present a staff member with a HYD card when he or she represents the How YOU Doin’? philosophy. The HYD Committee then collects the cards from our employees and use them for monthly, quarterly, and annual prize draws. As an end of season thank you, the management team at the General Motors Centre host a summer Barbeque to thank and recognize all staff for their dedication throughout the past season.

Dear Vince, We did it – thanks to your support! On June 13th, YWCA Durham celebrated “the brave amoung us” at our 11th Annual Starry Nights – dinner, dance & auction. This spectacular night included various auction items (live and silent), a delicious meal and great company. All those in attendance were amazed at the community support for Y’s WISH Shelter. You answered our call for support through your donation by helping us raise just over $37,000. These much needed funds go directly towards supporting women and children who have been victims of violence, and ultimately ending violence against women and children all together. As the number of women and children requiring our services continues to increase each year, your support helps ensure we can meet these needs. In 2013, Y’s WISH Shelter operated above capacity, having to turn away over 250 women and their children. We saw our long-term and outreach counseling program expand by 25% and our transitional counseling increase by 10%. Our crisis line responded to 708 crises calls from women in need. On behalf of YWCA Durham’s Board of Directors, staff and all of the women and children who have benefited and who will benefit from our services, thank you for your support and for being a apart of the YWCA

Future Outlook Every year of building and growth has led to this point - a 2014 which will be remembered as a remarkable and record breaking year for the General Motors Centre. It was full of milestones such as an unbelievable run of 15 events in 28 days in February which included sold out shows by Sir Elton John and Jason Aldean with Florida Georgia Line; as well as amazing performances by Cirque du Soleil, Hedley, Heart and Dierks Bentley. It included wide spread industry recognition both nationally and internationally as we were named the #1 Venue in Canada, Major Facility of the Year, and ranked 137th in the world. The foundation is now firmly in place to continue our growth and our goal towards financial success. As we look forward to what lays ahead, the GM Centre will be front and centre once again on the world stage in 2015 as one of the premier venues during the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am Games in July, and the National Grand Slam of Curling in November. As a result of our growth and success, we continue to advance our other opportunities with such assets as pouring rights and pizza rights. We are also hopeful that we will see revenue areas such as Shared Marketing grow as well, setting the stage for the final piece of the puzzle in Naming Rights which expire in November 2016. The facility is now well positioned for significant growth of this critical revenue asset to provide the GM Centre with its greatest opportunity for financial success.
