Atlantic Beach Country Club is truly unique, both in its deep-rooted history as Selva Marina Country Club and in its successful reinvention as Atlantic Beach Country Club in 2014.

The Club features a robust calendar of social events and outstanding levels of personal service for every generation. In any given month, members may enjoy themed dinners, bunco, happy hour in the bar and grille, kids' night out, pool parties, wine tastings, lawn parties, holiday celebrations, and so much more Live entertainment also draws a lively crowd to the Club multiple times per week There truly is something for everyone at Atlantic Beach Country Club

Looking Towards The Future

The Club is currently completing a $20M property-wide renovation The Food & Beverage portion of the renovation includes a complete rebuild of the main clubhouse kitchen, bars, expansion of the patio dining and dining rooms, a new secondary dining destination inclusive of an expanded kitchen and open-air bar, two new outdoor event venues and the addition of an employee dining space More details of the renovation are shown in the videos below.

In addition to the ongoing facilities improvements, ABCC is currently working on a new Strategic Plan with GGA Partners

A Casual and Exceptional Club Experience

Atlantic Beach Country Club is searching for a committed, proactive, and passionate culinary professional, who enjoys working in an engaging private club environment and one who has the ability to select the perfect enhancements to make a lasting impression This individual should have vast experience in a la carte production as this role will be strongly focused on this area of the operation

The Executive Sous Chef will coordinate and oversee all daily aspects of the culinary operation to ensure the quality and consistency of the dining experience This professional should have strong leadership skills and a desire to promote growth and development within their department The Executive Sous Chef should have the ability to act as a thought partner with the Executive Chef and Front of House leadership

▪ The ability to excel in both a la carte and special event production , demonstrating the skills to meticulously plan and execute large scale events.

▪ Demonstrate creativity in menu design, helping the Executive Chef develop the Club’s culinary traditions, incorporating fresh and innovative culinary trends.

▪ The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing to team members, club leadership, and members

▪ Exhibit disciplined follow-through to ensure the vision and goals of the Club come to fruition.

▪ Cultivate a high-level of member satisfaction through consistency in the dining experience.

▪ Work with the Front of House leadership team to address and resolve all member and guest complaints and suggestions

▪ Work with the Executive Chef to monitor labor and food cost as outlined in the annual budget

▪ Assist with food purchases to ensure the best quality product with value to the membership.

Preferred

✓ A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive leadership and management experience in a hospitality environment.

✓ Experience opening new kitchens and building dining programs and concepts is a valuable asset.

✓ Food safety certification.

✓ Certification from the American Culinary Federation or another hospitality association a plus.

✓ A degree from a post-secondary culinary arts program.
