The Year 9 curriculum prepares and encourages students to participate and study GCSE PE.
Students learn and develop game specific skills for a variety of activities within practices and competitive environments.
Development of movement skills is a key component of all aspect of PE and games. Better movement = better performance allowing students to access a higher level of participation.
Students develop an understanding of the different tactics & rules of different games and activities throughout the PE curriculum.
Students develop personal skills across each activity in PE and games. Personal skills such as leadership, teamwork, leadership, critical thinking, problem solving.
