Founded in 2009, The Coronet Theatre is a risk-taking, international arts venue and registered charity set within an iconic Grade II listed building in London’s Notting Hill. Both its programme and the building’s restoration are curated by Artistic Director Anda Winters.
TCT offers a year-round multi-disciplinary programme of world-class drama, dance, music, poetry and visual arts in a uniquely intimate 195-seat main auditorium and 90-seat studio space, giving special attention to the extraordinary work from cultures around the world.
We stage a mix of our own productions, commissions and visiting artists, including UK and World Premieres. We provide opportunities for emerging and renowned artists from all disciplines and nationalities and inspire diverse communities in London to access unique cultural experiences.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Coronet Theatre is looking for an exceptional individual with excellent digital content creation skills, creative thinking, strong written communication, and a developed knowledge of social media advertising to join our ambitious team as a Digital Marketing Officer. This key role with scope for progression focuses on promoting our diverse, international programme
The role involves creating dynamic and effective content for our digital platforms, filming and editing performances, trailers, and interviews, and creating copy You will aid campaign planning and directly engage with our network of communications partners. As a key member of our marketing team, the successful candidate will drive campaigns, taking pride in ensuring the widest possible audience accesses our programme
A developed and proven understanding of social media and online advertising is important, with the role holder responsible for creating content and ensuring that it reaches the right audience. This ideally includes experience in successfully delivering paid advertising campaigns, although we can provide training in this area.
This is a small but busy team, so the Digital Marketing Officer will need to be a proactive individual with a positive, can-do attitude and a genuine interest and understanding of The Coronet’s international programme Understanding and enjoying our work is essential to being able to attract audiences.
The ideal candidate should be able to think on their feet, be culturally engaged, and truly care about their work and the organisation they work for. Direct experience is not essential, but a strong set of transferable skills and the ability to learn quickly are key. The individual must be a team player who thrives in busy environments, as our international programme brings incredible cultural experiences and an added complexity layer. Communication is key, with the ability to clearly and sensitively engage with diverse cultures being essential.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop skills across various marketing aspects in a fast-paced and dynamic setting. You may be looking to progress to a Marketing Manager role in the near future, with this role proving a great stepping-stone.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Supporting the implementation of campaigns across social, online, email, advertising and print mediums.
Manage the Theatre’s social media channels, including creating paid and organic content.
Administration of the website, including project information and content generation.
Plan, shoot and edit in-house and visiting company photography and videography
Delivering the e-marketing schedule, including building marketing emails and organising reciprocal content.
Conducting in-depth research into projects and potential audiences enabling targeted campaigns.
Liaising with and collating assets from visiting companies.
Creating dynamic digital programmes for projects
Creating dynamic and engaging copy for upcoming projects.
Designing engaging posters and banners.
Building events within Spektrix, our ticketing platform.
Maintaining branded content levels in public spaces of the building
Supporting with developing contacts in the local area and forging meaningful relationships with existing and potential new audiences.
Supporting fundraising through development marketing initiatives.
Any other task reasonably requested by the Artistic Director, General Manager or Marketing Manager.
Driving audience growth and look for innovative ways to engage new audiences with our work.
Using data analysis to inform marketing plans, feeding back to to the team to improve plans.
Being an engaged and proactive member of the communications team.
Ensuring all communications align with and promote The Coronet Theatre's brand
Keeping up-to-date with current marketing and digital trends and investigate new ideas.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Salary: Circa £30,000 per annum Dependant on experience
Contract: This is a permanent, full-time position on completion of a successful probation period
Working Hours: Standard office hours are 9.30 am - 5.30 pm (Monday to Friday), although hours worked are to be determined by the needs to the role. Regular evening and weekend work will be required.

Pension: NEST workplace pension plan with a 3% company contribution

Responsible For: No direct line management responsibility but will work closely with junior colleagues. Line Management may become part of this role as the organisation develops.
