Proposed Classification of Kratom as a Schedule I Controlled Substance for Stakeholder Comment The State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy pursuant to section 3719.44 of the Ohio Revised Code, proposes the placement of the following into Schedule I: Mitragynine and 7-hydroxymitragynine, which are the main active constituents of the plant kratom. At this time, public comment is being sought on this rule change prior to being filed with Common Sense Initiative.
