Roosterettes head to semis in good form

A confident 26-10 win by the Cobar Roosterettes over Gulgong on Saturday in the final round of the Castlereagh League Tag competition bodes well for the Cobar side as they run into the finals.

Fullback Sarah Morley scored a double for Cobar with Sophie Clark, Neve Carter and

Molly Carter also touching down for tries. Brianna Watson kicked three goals to add to their tally of 26 points.

The win ensured Cobar maintained their third placed status on the competition table.

This Saturday they will take on secondplaced Narromine with the match to be played at Dunedoo.

The undefeated Dunedoo Swanettes will have the week off while 4th placed Coonamble will take on 5th placed Baradine in Sunday’s elimination semi final.
