Training exercise in Cobar

Ten members of the School of Infantry at Singleton and training staff were in Cobar recently to take part in a Mercedes G Wagon Drivers’ Training Course. The 16 day course covers the four wheel drive and six wheel drive variants of the Army G Wagon vehicles. As part of the training, the group travelled to Ivanhoe and back on some of Cobar Shire’s most challenging dirt roads. They also undertook a night driving exercise in the area. ▪ Photo contributed
