Physio Aid - Lilliane Brady Village

Minimum 48hrs per fortnight (3 days per week - week days only)

Undertake the delivery of planned individualised resident physiotherapy programs within role and level of demonstrated competence under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsible for providing resident care and encouraging residents to complete specific physiotherapy treatment plans related to injury, illness or disability-related physical issues as advised by a physiotherapist.

Duties:

• Responsible for implementing residents’ physiotherapy programs developed by the Physiotherapist

• Assist residents with exercise programs

• Contribute to the mobility, pain management and improvement of our residents’ quality of life

• Implementing comprehensive care involving assessment, prevention, implementation, evaluation and follow up of therapy programs

• Providing instruction and monitoring of staff manual handling practices

• Participate in case conferences as required

• Accept direction and seek assistance from the physiotherapist to fulfil role requirements This position requires a high level of confidentially and all applicants must have a current Federal Police clearance for working in aged care.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Data Entry

• Invoicing

• General Office Administration

• Customer Service / Parts Sales

• Purchasing

You will also be required to assist on occasion with:

• Accounts Payable / Receivable

• Payroll

• Store sales

• Quotes

The following skills would be an advantage:

• Experience using Microsoft Office

• Excellent Organisational & Communication Skills

• Attention to detail

• Excellent literacy & numeracy skills
