These meals are delivered by trusted local pastors who bring hope, discipleship, and the message of Christ alongside every box. Lives are being changed physically and spiritually because of faithful service and generous hearts like yours

So as you pack meals, remember this: you ’ re not just feeding the hungry. You’re planting seeds of the Gospel, walking in obedience, and playing a part in God’s redemptive story unfolding around the world.

Feed the Need is more than just a fundraiser—it’s a powerful opportunity to live out the gospel. The meals packed by students through this campaign are distributed by Feed the Hunger, a ministry partner we ’ ve worked alongside for over 15 years These meals don’t just provide food; they bring hope, discipleship, and church growth to some of the world’s most vulnerable communities.

Impact in South Asia

This year, meals will be sent to South Asia, where local pastors and leaders with deep ties to their communities will distribute them. These leaders integrate gospel outreach with food distribution, ensuring every meal becomes part of a transformative journey. Our school partners receive regular updates including photos and reports so you can see firsthand the impact your contributions are making.

Why Local Churches Matter

Our partner Caleb wisely says, “There’s no better way to serve than through the indigenous church” Local churches are uniquely equipped to minister effectively in their communities

That’s why we rely on them to distribute meals to those who need it most preschool children, children rescued from trafficking, and refugee families. This approach isn’t just about feeding bodies it’s about changing lives through long-term discipleship

A Holistic, Long-Term Mission

At Feed the Hunger, we believe true poverty alleviation is about restoring dignity and fostering relationships. That’s why we partner with local leaders to walk with children year after year, providing not just food, but also school supplies, hygiene items, and most importantly, the Word of God. Our holistic, discipleship-driven approach ensures that children are empowered, not just fed, becoming agents of transformation in their communities.

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in."

Matthew 25:35

In the tea-growing hills of Moulvibazar, a small town in Bangladesh, families toil from dawn to dusk for meager wages Among them is 7-year-old Ripon, who lives with his parents, younger sister, and elderly grandmother. Every day, his parents labor in the tea gardens, yet their earnings barely cover the cost of a single meal. Hunger became a constant companion for Ripon, leaving him weak and disheartened. With his parents away all day, he took on the heavy responsibility of caring for his sister and grandmother, often while enduring an empty stomach himself. But recently, hope arrived.

Ripon’s family received a Feed the Need meal package, an unexpected blessing that changed everything. Overcome with gratitude, his mother said, “Thanks to Feed the Need, we now have food. For the first time in a long while, we feel relief in our hearts.” That evening, the family gathered in the kitchen, cooking together and sharing a warm, nourishing meal For the first time in weeks, laughter returned to their home, along with a sense of joy and renewed hope.

In the beautiful yet struggling village of Dewrachara, families work tirelessly in the tea gardens for wages that barely sustain them. Among them is 7-year-old Shimul Urang, a boy full of dreams, yet weakened by hunger. His mother labors each day to support the family, while his father, disabled and unable to work, stays at home Shimul never asks for much, just a little rice and salt, but even that is often too much to hope for. Many nights, he falls asleep hungry. Then one day, hope arrived at their doorstep.

Shimul’s family received a Feed the Need meal package and for the first time in a long while, joy filled their home. Overwhelmed with excitement, Shimul helped his mother carry the food into the kitchen and eagerly asked, “How much can I eat?” His mother began cooking right away. That night, the family gathered around a full meal. As Shimul ate, his eyes lit up with new determination. With a full belly and a hopeful heart, he said that he would work hard in school, because now, he finally had the strength to dream again

In Bangladesh, many families struggle each day to meet even their most basic needs, especially when it comes to food. Klanti’s family is no exception. Her father, Tobirus, works hard as a van driver, but his income is barely enough to support their family of five, let alone cover school fees and provide nutritious meals Recently, Klanti fell ill due to malnutrition, leaving her parents worried and heartbroken. Then, the family received a meal package from Feed the Need, filled with food and the essential vitamins and nutrients Klanti and her siblings needed to grow strong and healthy For the first time in weeks, there was relief and hope in their home Klanti’s family now calls Feed the Need an “angel from God.”

Jesus taught us to care for the poor and the vulnerable. When we serve others in need, we follow His example, offering not just nourishment for the body, but also restoring joy and hope to the heart.

Anita is a joyful 5-year-old girl living with her parents and younger brother in a small tea garden community. Her father works long hours picking tea leaves, but despite his efforts, it’s hard to earn enough to support the family, especially with Anita’s brother often ill and needing hospital care. Without steady income or nutritious food, anxiety filled their days, and hunger became an almost daily burden Then, hope arrived in the form of a Feed the Need meal package, filled with the vital nutrients children need to grow strong and healthy.

Tears welled up in Anita’s parents’ eyes. Her father, usually so quiet with worry, said they no longer had to fear for their children’s nutrition. Anita and her brother were overjoyed. They clutched the meal packets in their small hands and jumped with excitement. That evening, for the first time in months, the family shared a warm, nourishing meal, one that filled their stomachs and lifted their spirits. With a trembling voice and eyes shining with hope, Anita’s mother, Sumita, said, “This meal is a miracle from God.”

Then one day, Feed the Need brought a meal package to their home. It was like a sunrise in the middle of a dark night.

Tears filled their father’s eyes, not from sadness, but from deep relief and gratitude. For the first time in a long time, his family could sit down to a full, nutritious meal That day, God’s kindness didn’t just fill their plates, it lifted their hearts.
