editor’s note In the summertime when the weather is fine I love nothing more than getting up early to take my two little oodles, Mr. Darcy and Bingley, to the dog beach. Every day is more glorious than the last - I never get tired of taking in that horizon and feeling the sand between my toes. Did you know we can achieve a personal sense of balance just by putting our feet in the sea once a day? It’s all about those negative ions, baby. Of course the best thing about the dog beach is the pooches! I don’t think I’m being biased to say my two little gentlemen are the most amiable and enthusiastic on the shores.

Before Christmas we got all of our amazing A-list Vendors together to celebrate the year that was and wish everyone a fabulous holiday season with a big ‘do at Pier 33 Mooloolaba. Then I took my very first road trip as an adult along the East Coast of Queensland and New South Wales. My son, Jonah, and I armed ourselves with playlists, podcasts and audiobooks for the drive, and stopped at so many, yet not nearly enough, of Australia’s prettiest places on our way. I hope you’ve been enjoying Summer as much as I have, and I hope you enjoy this edition, pals! Love,

Grand curls, wild and free-spirited are teamed with striking warm-toned smokey eyes and a slick of red-brown lipstick to contrast with Jolie’s alabaster skin.
In contrast to the textured stone walls, the white on white table setting provides a softness with draped fabrics and delicate blooms. Old worldly details in antique silver touches in the tableware nod to the historical setting.

Textural cotton, bronze dyed orchids, and white tongueless orchids keep the colour scheme clean, mixed with muted toned roses alongside locally grown wildflowers, anthuriums and fluffy bunnies’ tails.
