May Newsletter
May 1, 2023
Dear Jacket Community,
It’s hard to believe that we only have three weeks of school left I know that you are all working hard to finish the year strong Knowing summer is right around the corner comes many mixed emotions I am excited for all that awaits our seniors and for the many opportunities they will have to leave their footprints on our world. I hope all the students know how proud I am of each and every one of them.
To conclude the school year, we will be celebrating several important events. Teacher Appreciation Week will be recognized the week of May 8, and I encourage everyone to let our staff know how much we value and appreciate all that they do to help our students excel. On Wednesday, May 10, we will celebrate National Nurse Day to honor our amazing nurses who take care of our students daily and make certain they are healthy and ready to learn.
Here in EFISD we have so many school heroes who contribute to the well-being of our students, and on behalf of EFISD, I thank them all!
I hope the remainder of the school year is wonderful and that everyone can have a restful and relaxing summer.
With Jacket Pride, Monica Simmons EFISD SuperintendentShout-outs and Congratulations
