西 九 文 化 區 早 在 1 9 9 8 年 行 政 長 官 的 《施政報 告》提出，經過超過二十年的歷程，西九的首個 表演藝術中心- 戲曲中心，終於正式在今年 2019年1月20日開幕。 中心是由譚秉榮建築事務所（現稱

觀眾。其目 標 觀 眾 是 一 些 對 戲 曲 有 興 趣，卻又不是戲曲演出常客的人。 除了演出質素，這類觀眾亦看重配 套，例如：氛圍、顧客服務等。演 出現時入座率達九成，而其中只有 約一成是遊客，其餘都是本地人。 有 別 於 一 般 戲 曲 演 出（ 觀 眾 主 要 以 女 性 及 長 者 為 主 ）， 茶 館 劇 場 的 觀 眾 性 別比例平均，年齡橫跨二十歲到長 者不等。有關方面正在整理觀眾問 卷調查，期待了解更多。
戲曲中心有甚麼值 得大家一看？今年年 中，西九的第二個表 演場地「自由空間」 將會開幕，兩個場館 之間，到時候有甚麼 互動？我們來聽聽 茹國烈怎麼說。
