WHO’S THAT GUY? I’m an enthusiastic Communicator & Graphic Designer from Manchester based in Rochdale. My inherited passion for design had been finding its way out in school classrooms for over 15 years, until in 2013 I founded The Art Bank design studio, where I developed my expertise and passion within the design industry. I have four years experience working as a freelance graphic designer from The Art Bank studio, including two + years as Managing Editor of OPENHOPE magazine, but I’m ready to bring my sharp thinking, communication and technical skills to a wider market. EDUCATION With a background is in education, my first class degree and professional experience as an Ofsted-rated outstanding educator is a strong and beneficial foundation, yielding many positives as I’ve developed my journey in the design industry. Not only do I have an appetite for hard work and pressured deadlines, but my classroom experience has enabled me to become an excellent communicator, able to meet people at their level, presenting complex details in accessible formats and engaging the passion of other people through listening and responding in ways that make working together possible, productive and enjoyable.

STUFF I’M JUST REALLY PROUD OF: My great family - Liz, my supportive wife and three, wonderfully creative and unique children. In 2011, with friends, we founded a charity to support families who want to educate at home - I’ve worked for the Charity ever since and teach my own children at the Charities Learning Centre. I lead a community of Christians in Greater Manchester called JUST WORSHIP which organises events and gigs featuring nationally acclaimed Christian musicians and artists. I achieved my first class honours degree studying part time while still working full time as a teacher in a busy school. In its first three years The Art Bank sent over 200 artworks all over the world, including special commissions in New York, Paris, Milan, Australia and extensively throughout the UK.
