Our excellence in educational practices has expanded to education and training centers throughout New Braunfels, Kerrville, San Antonio and the surrounding areas. A total of seven Education and Training Center locations are strategically placed throughout our eight-county service area and serve as a link between the Alamo Colleges.
The centers are a one-stop place for assistance with preliminary college enrollment and workforce training opportunities. They are designed to provide pathways for community members pursuing careers in key industries like manufacturing, nursing, and child development. They also offer college academic core courses, dual credit for high school students, adult literacy education, and affordable associate degree courses, all in state-ofthe-art classrooms and labs.
These centers provide greater access to affordable, quality education across the communities we serve. Since 2018, the centers - with the help of countless community partners - have provided assistance to 35,000 students and community members.

The Alamo Colleges District is the #1 provider of workforce education in the area. We have a proven track record of success in training workers that local employers need to stay competitive and be successful. We work closely with industry partners such as Toyota Manufacturing Texas, Lockheed Martin, Caterpillar and others to tailor our workforce curriculum to the changing needs of the workplace and to keep pace with the latest technologies. We are committed to aligning and increasing programs for middle-skill jobs, where there are many more job openings than workers to fill them. We also connect you with experiences outside the classroom through federal work-study programs, research opportunities, and corporate internships. We also custom-tailor programs for employers to train new employees or upgrade the skills of existing workers.
