We crave natural wine and only align with conscious, transparent wine producers that strive to provide earthy, funky, balanced and finessed varietals that always reflect and show a sense of place. Rocks, dirt and minerality are the essence of terroir. Our wineries shine in this sub category of the Natural Wine Movement,. Wine Moderne mixes simple taste and seeks unity to find only the best killer juice. Nothing but the best will do. Wine Moderne only provides products aligned with conscious wine producers, awarded and designated wine education, group travel excursions, team building activities, and tasting events. Melanie is making moves with 15 years of juicy tales under her belt, all driven by a small, like-minded group who share the same goal, we are pushing the world of wine. Melanie always talks clients into doing something amusing. When she's not sharing her passion, she can be found glamingping off the beaten path with her dog Desi, a copper Vizla and her vintage 1957 Airstream Caravanner, in tow.

"WINED" UP"WITH WSET Melanie began her formal wine education in 2006 at the Culinary Institute of America, St. Helena, CA. Prior to that her natural curiosity, led her to "wine up" and study the Wine and Spirits Education Trust. She completed WSET Advanced Certification in 2008.

COURT OF MASTERS & CERTIFIED SPECIALIST in 2009, Melanie became a Certified Sommelier by the Court of Masters, and is currently preparing for their Level 3 Exam. Soon after she earned the distinction of Certified Specialist of Wine with the Society of Wine Educators. She has traveled the globe, and was most recently awarded the designation of French Wine Scholar and WSET Educator
