Pattaya has an abundance of fabulous Italian restaurants serving wonderful food to both residents & tourists alike. It doesn’t matter where you are in the city, you’ll be close to a quality Italian restaurant serving excellent pizza and pasta as well as other traditional dishes. One of the best known restaurants is Trattoria Pizzeria Toscana located on Pattaya Beach Road, close to the junction with Pattaya Klang. The food is truly superb with many of the ingredients coming from the owner’s own farm so the quality can guaranteed. This is more towards the top end of the market but well worth it if you are looking to treat yourself or a loved one. For those living in Naklua, La Grotta on Naklua Soi 33 is a great option for your pasta and pizza. This is a well-priced restaurant that certainly doesn’t cut any corners with the quality of the food and has an excellent ambience. When it comes to Jomtien, once again you won’t be short of options with Gian’s probably being the best known, offering a great selection of pasta dishes as well as the usual selection of pizzas. Made in Italy is also another popular choice as too is Bacco Beach located in the Na Jomtien area. A August 2015, after a 4 month renovation. Perfect timing for the new curfew! Q Tell us about yourself? A I’m from Sweden and a chef by education and trade. The Robin Hood Tavern launched earlier this year and has proved a big success on many fronts especially their food. Jomtien consists of Jomtien beach road, Jomtien second road and all the sois in between. Most restaurants in this area are along the beach road as Jomtien second road is only been open a small number of years and is still underdeveloped as far as restaurants go.
