This month we chat with… Denton Crane, Owner at Cloud 9. Q Tell us about yourself? A I’m Denton from Canvey Island, nearly 44 and I actually support Tottenham. Q The most ridiculous thing you’ve been asked? A What’s the price of your rooms? 1,000 baht per night I replied. Does that include a bottle of Samsong and a lady? He was deadly serious. Q Best part of your job? A Meeting new people, and having a really decent chat. Q Worst part of the job? A Just having to come in every day, it’s hard work. Q Strangest thing to happen? A The weirdest thing I encountered here? I got off my bike at the bar, and this bloke was staring at me intensely, and I asked him if he was alright, and he replied Ace Construction, Sydney 1997. He was absolutely right Q Biggest bullshit story? A Too many to mention, we’ve had euro millions lottery winners to people who have wrestled with crocodiles. Never a shortage of bullshit that’s for sure! Q Most popular food & drink? A San Miguel Lite is the most popular drink, we’re currently building a kitchen. Q Sum up your place in 3 words?
