The competition for the Weddings OnLine Wedding Awards 2009 was keen with wedding venues and wedding specialist companies alike vying for these much coveted awards.

Nominations were made, shortlists drawn up and the elite of the industry were awarded.

At The Landmark we ensure that every couple planning their wedding does so with a confidence that every detail will be attended to with passion and flair. And it is for this, coupled with our fabulous facilities, that we received so many nominations and brought home some silverware! The greatest award of all however is that the nominations came from the True Judges - Landmark Brides and Grooms and their guests.

2010 began with the phenomenal news that The Landmark’s Patricia Corrigan had been awarded the national accolade of ‘Wedding Coordinator of the Year for 2009’ and that The Landmark had been shortlisted for ‘National Wedding Venue of the Year 2009’.

Serves 6 Ingredients:

1 pint of double cream – whipped 6 meringue nests – broken into pieces 3-4 cups of strawberries (prepare the berries 2 to 4 hours before serving and chill for some time)

.

Place sliced strawberries, meringue and whipped cream into a large mixing bowl.

Fold together gently.
