Our daughter and partner married last week and had their Reception in the Landmark Hotel, Carrick-on-Shannon. From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. Patricia, the Wedding Co-ordinator, was such a help to them. Nothing was too much for her. As we live in Dublin she was able to guide them in planning all aspects like hairdressers, flowers, etc. Any question my daughter had was sorted out immediately. On the day itself we were all ‘blown away’ by the food, service and the way everything was handled. The drinks reception was very well done and the meal itself was beautiful. The service was excellent with second helpings offered to all. A lot of people had never been to Leitrim before and loved Carrick-on-Shannon and were really impressed with The Landmark. Rooms were sorted for people arriving early even though the hotel had a wedding the day before. Breakfast was excellent and all freshly cooked. As we had a big group staying over we also had dinner there the next evening and again it was excellent. We then had the Mint Bar for our group and finished off with a big sing song. All our family and friends went home with a great impression of Carrick and The Landmark. Thank you to Patricia and all the wonderful staff.....you make organising a wedding so much easier.
