We are a big family and believe we all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. We believe no one knows it all and believe in one basic Truth summarized in these words: “What would Christ have done in the situation�? This special edition as usual brings together a diverse group of men and women from different parts of the world who claim to be preaching the Truth. For those reading the Shepherds Magazine for the first time ; here is brief insight of what we represent : The Shepherds Bugle is the voice of Shepherds Without Borders Lighthouse Ministries; which comes out once monthly to highlight messages, news, visions, projects, strength & weakness of the United Body of the Kingdom of God. Inspired Shepherds come together monthly to write message etc for the community of God chosen. Every shepherd chosen, charged, and called by God (YHWH) to care for His flocks is officially a member. Shepherds serve as an ambassadors of the Kingdom of God , advocates for petitioning God for mankind, administrators for the handling and distributing the truth of God's Word and they need a watch tower on the hilltop to help them not to crash against the stones of temptations placed in their path by the Devil. This magazine is the shepherds’ consultant for wisdom and direction when it comes to how the work of the Kingdom of God is being carried out in different places around the world. It is also a confronter of the evil practices that are carried out in the name of the kingdom of God. It is no respecter of any particular doctrine, tradition, color, language, social status, or geographical locations. It is the voice for the united kingdom of God's body of workers in the vineyard here on earth.


This magazine is the discussion leader of any topic concerning the kingdom of God and the warfare of God's people. Here you will see and post the work you do for the kingdom; however it should be clear that every work you see here is the responsibility/views of the writer who placed it there and not always necessarily the views of everyone. It is a medium to serve as an encourager for the shepherds around the world who are striving to get the truth of God's Word out even at a risk to their own families and lives. As a spotlight, we intend to also serve as a ground inspector of the work of every ministry we can and highlight their strengths and weaknesses. Shepherds, we say a big welcome to you and your flocks. Let this place be a companion and knowledge dispenser, a place where you can rest and discover your God given talents, your historian where you can view the past and log the present, the nurturer of your visions, your opportunities spotter, and critic. THE CHOICE WOMEN MUST MAKE TO SUCCEED POSTED BY KAREN ZEIGLER ON SEPTEMBER 4, 2013 IN HOME | 1 COMMENT Will you be a crab or a goose? It’s every women’s choice.

Let me explain. I recently read an article regarding women in leadership and the lack of trust from colleagues – specifically other women colleagues. Women trust issues are nothing new. I wrote about it in “Girlfriend – You Got Trust Issues“. Yet I wondered if there wasn’t more to the problem so it prompted a Facebook post asking the question “Why do you think most women don’t trust other women?” While insecurities was the winner in the 22 comments and growing post I still felt there was more to it. I happened to be spending time with my wise and gracious friend Gail Ross, Host of the Testimonies of Triumph television program so I asked her what her thoughts on the matter were. After a short discussion she reached her conclusion which I believe was profound. Women have the crab in the bucket mentality.

In case you haven’t heard of the crab in the bucket mentality. Here’s the short version. One time a man was walking along the beach and saw another man fishing in the surf with a bait bucket beside him. As he drew closer, he saw that the bait bucket had no lid and had live crabs inside. “Why don’t you cover your bait bucket so the crabs won’t escape?” he said. “You don’t understand,” the man replied, “If there is one crab in the bucket it would surely crawl out very quickly. However, when there are many crabs in the bucket, if one tries to crawl up the side, the others grab hold of it and pull it back down so that it will share the same fate as the rest of them.” While this insecurity, fear – and I suspect even jealousy if I can be so bold – may be normal behavior in society it certainly shouldn’t be that way for Christian women. Christian women should lead the way and stop the crab mentality. Instead of being like the crabs we should be more like the geese. When you see geese flying along in “V” formation, you might consider what science has discovered as to why they fly that way. As each bird flaps its wings, it creates an uplift for the bird immediately following. By flying in “V” formation, the whole flock adds at least 71% greater flying range than if each bird flew on its own. People who share a common direction and sense of community can get where they are going more quickly and easily because they are traveling on the thrust of one another. When a goose falls out of formation, it suddenly feels the drag and resistance of trying to go it alone — and quickly gets back into formation to take advantage of the lifting power of the bird in front. If we have as much sense as a goose, we will stay in formation with those people who are headed the same way we are. When the head goose gets tired, it rotates back in the wing and another goose flies point. It is sensible to take turns doing demanding jobs, whether with people or with geese flying south. Geese honk from behind to encourage those up front to keep up their speed.

What messages do we give when we honk from behind? Finally — and this is important — when a goose gets sick or is wounded by gunshot, and falls out of formation, two other geese fall out with that goose and follow it down to lend help and protection. They stay with the fallen goose until it is able to fly or until it dies, and only then do they launch out on their own, or with another formation to catch up with their group. So every morning you get up to tackle your purpose and chosen path, as you see those women around you, you have a choice to make. Will you be the crab – silent at best and dragging your sister down at worst? Or will you be the goose? Using the woman in front of you as motivation to flap harder so that the woman coming behind you will be lifted up as well. Honking you’re way along encouraging all the others. Never missing the opportunity to stop for the sister who has fallen. To often we feel hurt or betrayed. Truth is God chooses our path and our success. Perhaps the biggest blessing of being a woman leader vs. a male leader – our success doesn’t all have to look the same! Can I get a shout! When we keep our eyes on Him and walk obediently forward it really doesn’t matter what another woman does. God works all things out for our good. Take your eyes off her and put your eyes on Him. And it also doesn’t matter whether you agree with the path they are taking or not. Obviously I’m not saying being an encouragement to sin but women have a tendency to judge another path is wrong just because it doesn’t look like their path. God didn’t call us to determine someone else’s path, that’s His job. He called us to encourage one another, build one another up! You’re choice. Which will you be a crab or a goose?

On 9/11…Bishop Derrick Day

Today we observed the twelfth anniversary of the terrorist acts of September 11, 2001. Like many of you, I can remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when it happened. I can also remember what I was thinking when it happened. I remember thinking this was God’s judgment raining upon America. I can remember praying fervently, repenting for my Country’s wrongs, asking for God’s mercy. I couldn’t have been more wrong. In the wake of the attacks, there were more Christian preachers and teachers saying that this was God’s judgment against America for accepting homosexuality, pornography, and all other wanton immorality. All the “prophecy-hounds” were in full-effect, working feverishly to eisegetically fit the events into their eschatology. Also, the über-patriots were waving their flags, crafting their slogans, and spewing the rhetoric of revenge, as if America occupied some place of moral superiority. While any terrorist spirit is wrong (Luke 9:54-55), it would behoove us – as a nation – to look introspectively at ourselves and search our collective heart and repent (change our mind) against any national policy that invokes the anger and provokes the wrath of other nations.

If God were punishing America, surely He could have done it for the sake of slavery. Or he could have rained down judgment for the mistreatment of Native Americans. He could have smacked-down America for her mistreatment of women. But, no, He didn’t. And you want to know why? God is not angry at America. And He’s not angry with any Americans. Heck, He’s not angry with Russians, Chinese, Indians, French, Nigerians, or Brazilians, either. Here’s what the Bible has to say about it: Isaiah 53:5-6 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. I boldfaced the text so it would stand out but did you catch it? The “chastisement of our peace” in verse 5 was the punishment that was intended for mankind – Jesus bore it! In verse 6, it says the Lord “laid on Him (Jesus) the iniquity of us all – that means Jesus became sin for us! I don’t know if you see the full implication of this, but that is good news for sinner and saint, alike! What this means is that there will be no more Sodom and Gomorrah. There will be no more Jericho.

There will be no more Nineveh. Why, because the punishment for ALL MANKIND was laid upon Jesus. This is why accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior sets you free from the sin debt – it was paid in full on the Cross, at Calvary. Do you get it? The war mankind declared against God in the Garden was now ended because of the sacrifice of Jesus. This is why the angels were able to proclaim the good news to the shepherds, “peace on earth, good will toward men!” (Luke 2:14) Now, lest anyone assume I’m tilting toward universalism let me make this clear: salvation is AVAILABLE to everyone but it must be APPROPRIATED individually! You can almost think of it as a classaction lawsuit – the victory is won but you have to individually claim your share! Only those who call upon the name of Jesus (Romans 10:13), believing in their hearts and confessing with their mouths that Jesus was raised from the dead for their redemption will be saved! To make this all simple, Jesus’ finished work on the Cross completely obliterated sin, once and for all, for those who believe. Now that I’ve gotten that off my chest, let me say I love America, warts and all. In all of this there is one simple truth that must be reconciled: People died. That means there are children without fathers or mothers. Husbands were left without wives; wives lost their husbands. Parents were left without children. Two major cities in the United States were devastated. For many, the poignant sting of death has lost its edge. For others, the pain still resonates clearly. In both cases, we who were not directly impacted must continue to pray for those who were. We must remember to render compassion to all who suffered loss of a loved one.

While there is plenty of blame to go around – yes there are folks who incorrectly see America as completely corrupt and morally bankrupt, and there ARE folks within our government who lend credibility to the aforementioned premise – we ought not spend time wagging the crooked finger of blame at whatever target. We need to pray for our leaders – Lord knows they need it. We need to pray for those who have enmity against us. We need to pray that every system of belief and religion comes to the realization that there is no other way to the Father than the person of Jesus Christ (John 14:6). Most of all, we must never forget. This is a date of significant tragedy but it is also a day our nation came together. I believe if we can rally together in tragedy, someday we – as a nation – will rally around the finished work of Jesus. At least that is my prayer. © 2013 – Derrick Day (www.derrickday.com)

Jubilee: the End of Harvest

Elden McNabb “There shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars.” February 4th or 5th, 1962, depending on the part of the world you lived in, there was a total eclipse of the Sun, by the Moon, which coincided with a rare group- ing of five of Earth‟s planets. The prophet and Chief Bishop of The Church of God, Grady R. Kent published an article in the March issue of The Vision Speaks, entitled “The Beginning of The End;” rightly asserting that the eclipse was a sign of that beginning. Then, shortly after Passover, I was sitting in church with my sermon outline in hand. As the final song was being sung, a voice spoke to me, saying, “Preach barley harvest.” It was as if a man about six feet tall was speaking to me from three or four feet to my left. I turned toward where the voice had come from, and in a low voice like a whisper, I said, “Lord, I don‟t even know what Barley Harvest is.” I turned back, and studied it for a little, and almost immediately I knew what the Lord wanted me to preach about. I stepped to the podium and preached about forty-five minutes on the prophetic fulfillment of the Old Testament allegory of “Barley Harvest,” the key to the time of the gathering of God‟s people together for the coming of Jesus (Lev. 23:15-17). An Old Testament story about Abigail going, with her five maidens, to her marriage to David, and Jesus‟ parable of the “ten virgins, five of which were wise,” show that there will be an assortment of groups at the marriage of the Lamb:

the Bridegroom (Sun), the Bride (Moon), and the five Bridesmaids (planets), together with the guests (stars), of course. They all must soon be gathered together “in the unity of the faith,” and go out together to meet the Bridegroom. The harvest is on! “The End of the World.” We can readily see, from the parable of the tares, that the end of the world (not the planet), is not a singular event (Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43). Jesus said, “Gather ye together first the tares.” The harvest, therefore, consists of a series of events. The Tares (false grain) are gathered first. The gathering of the wheat (the Children of the Kingdom) comes later. As the time drew near for the Harvest to begin, on January 25, 1959, Pope John XXIII announced his intentions of calling a worldwide church council. Then, in February 1962, the extremely rare eclipse and planetary alignment signaled that the time of the end had come. Pope John XXIII opened the first session of Vatican II, on October 11, 1962, and Vatican II began to redefine the public image of the Catholic Church in dramatic ways which would make it more acceptable to the Protestants. Thus was launched a new ecumenical effort to bring all of the wayward “daughters” back into “the fold,” and there arose in Babylon “him that handleth the sickle” (Jer. 50:16). We have recently seen Pope Benedict XVI ascend to the Papacy, and it appears that he has already begun to shut down that era of the harvest of the tares. The Decline of the United States of America. During the time of Vatican II (October 11, 1962, to December 8, 1965), the U. S. Government made a sweeping move to socialize the country and establish Atheism as the official religion. It started, in about 1963, with the prohibition of prayer and Bible reading in the public schools. This restriction has been amplified by a zealous and determined effort to teach our children to commit sexual sins and to accept the doctrine that human life spontaneously sprang from matter (Psalm 100:3).

The U.S. government began to use the public schools to implement a whole new way of life in America. They already have managed to minimize the freedoms which have been guaranteed by the Constitution. It was not long until we saw Affirmative Action, Head Start and school busing all innocent sounding, and seemingly beneficial, but their true intent was to deprive us of our liberties. The plan has gone forth speedily, and today, parents are no longer free to even correct and train their own children. The whole face of this nation has been changed with laws enacted which will surely be used to exercise tyranny upon our citizens, especially those embracing Christianity. Surely it is time for the believers to “confess that they are strangers and pilgrims here, and to declare plainly that they seek a country” (Heb. 11:13-14.). God Gives Knowledge to the Righteous, as it is written, “Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but He revealeth his secret unto His servants the prophets” (Amos 3:7). That includes the coming of the Bridegroom. I have noticed for years that many Christians love the idea that we are not supposed to know anything, especially about the return of our Lord. However, it is the ungodly who cannot know the planning or timing of the works of God. Paul asserted that the natural man has not seen nor understood the things of God, but told us that “God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea the deep things of God” (1Cor. 2:9-10). Paul assured us that not even the coming of Jesus should surprise us, saying, “Ye, brethren, are not in darkness that that day should overtake you as a thief”(1 Thess. 5:4). There were things which even Jesus did not know before His crucifixion, but when he later came before the throne of His father, God gave him the book of “the vision of all” to open the seals thereof, and to reveal those thing to whomever He will (Rev. 5:1-10). But Jesus went into great detail concerning the sign of His coming, and of the end of this world (Matt. 24 & 25).

The Time of Harvest is here: the day of preparation for our Lord‟s return. The harvest of the tares will soon give way to the gathering of the Children of the Kingdom into God‟s “barn.” Then shall we come in the unity of the faith. We might have thought that the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the last one hundred years would have fostered that unity, but, it seems to have created even more division. The Holy Ghost has not yet guided us into all truth, but The Scriptures cannot be broken. “[We] shall see eye to eye when the Lord shall bring again Zion” (Isa. 52:8). “Pentecost” of the New Testament is called, in the Old Testament, “The Feast of Weeks” and “The Feast of Harvest” (Ex. 34:22, and Ex 23:16). As Paul said, the law served as “a shadow of good things to come” (Heb. 10:1). When God called it the “Feast of Harvest,” he was telling us that it is a prophecy about the end of the world. However, by using the term the “Feast of Weeks,” He instructs us concerning the time frame of its fulfillment. “Ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the Sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Sabbaths shall be complete: even unto the morrow after the seventh Sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the Lord” (Lev. 23:15,16). “Begin to number the seven weeks from such time as thou beginnest to put the sickle to the corn. And thou shalt keep the feast of weeks unto the Lord thy God” (Deut. 16:9-10). In applying this precept to the spiritual harvest, we must count a day for a year. I will begin to count from the time that the Harvest of the Tares began in 1962. The sign, “in the heavens above,” appeared a few days before the beginning of the lunar year. So, I will make my calculations from Abib, the first month of that lunar year. That is the method which the Lord commanded the Israelites to use. With that reckoning, we are now almost at the end of the seventh week of years and the ushering in of the Year of Jubilee

With the blessing of Boaz, Ruth gleaned “unto the end of barley harvest and of wheat harvest.” He commanded his young men saying, “Let fall also some of the handfuls of purpose for her” (Ruth 2:16,23). God also used the term “handfuls” in Genesis 41:47-49, in order to relate the gleanings of Ruth to the harvest of Joseph. He said, “In the seven plenteous years the earth brought forth by handfuls... And Joseph gathered corn as the sand of the sea, very much, until he left numbering; for it was without number.” In so doing, Moses made a direct connection to “the appointed barley” of Isaiah 28:25. In Jeremiah 5:24, He calls it “the appointed weeks of harvest.” So, in one allegory we have barley harvest and wheat harvest, and in the other we have an amount which is numbered, whereas the rest were not. When the appointed time comes, God will call for the “Book of Remembrance” to be opened, and of those who are written therein, He will gather together in one that predestined number (Mal. 3:16-17). In the allegory of the Feast of Weeks (Lev. 23:15-17), God told Israel to bring out of their habitations two wave loaves, saying, “They are the firstfruits unto the Lord.” Those two appointed loaves of barley are indeed numbered in the New Testament. James called the twelve tribes which were scattered abroad “a kind of firstfruits” of His creatures (James1:1,18). It is numbered in Rev. 7:1-9. The Gentile kind is also numbered, saying, “These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb” (Rev. 14:1-5). These two groups of 144,000 will make up the world government of the “seventh millennium.” Weeks of days cannot apply to the spiritual harvest at the end of the world. It will be, rather, seven weeks of years which precede the year of Jubilee. It too is about the end of harvest, and reveals something very wonderful, “which God has prepared for them that love Him.” With the Feast of Pentecost, we have weeks of days, but with Jubilee there are seven weeks of years, both of which prophesy of the last fifty years before the coming of Jesus, the proclamation of liberty: “The glorious liberty of the sons of God.”

The Commission: When Jesus began His ministry, He stood up in the synagogue and read the Scripture, “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD” (Isa 61:1). Jesus purchased our liberty on the cross, but that liberty will be realized only when Jesus appears in His glory. Hear the words of the Apostle Paul. “As many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God... I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature (Christian) was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God” (Rom. 8:11-24). Paul said, “Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive.” [He did not say, “led captivity to liberty.” They are still captive (John 3:13).] (“Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?)” (Eph. 4:810). Again the Lord said, “By the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water” (Zechariah 9:11). The people indicated by Jesus in His parable of the the rich man and Lazarus are still in the “pit wherein is no water,” but He moved the righteous dead to a better place. John also quoted Jesus, saying, “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death” (Rev. 1:18). Paul so aptly put it when he said, “(We) shall not prevent them which are asleep, (but) the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain...” Yes, Jesus has the keys, and in the year of Jubilee, He will crown us with the “glorious liberty of the Sons of God.”

That time will come swiftly now. However, we must consider Job‟s prayer, “O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, until thy wrath be past!” (Job 14:13). To those living at the time of the end, He said, “Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity” (Isaiah 26:20). “Now Is Your Salvation Nearer.” The final year of this era is upon us, and there is much yet to be done to prepare for our Lord‟s return: including the gathering and the perfecting of the Elect of God. A group of God‟s people must “come in the unity of the faith,” to the condition mentioned in Isaiah 60:7, and described in Romans 15:1618. “That the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost; to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed...” “All the flocks of Kedar (and) the rams of Nabaioth (Ishmael and his twelve) shall come up with acceptance on Mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.” (See also Gen. 25:13-15.) The law is clear about what was acceptable as an offering upon that altar. He said, “It shall be an altar most holy: whatsoever toucheth the altar shall be holy” (Ex. 29:37). No such condition exists among Gentile Christians today. Nor can Jesus present to Himself a glorious Church without spot or wrinkle until there is one in that condition. The day of “our gathering together unto him” and our cleansing must soon be accomplished. Jesus will “return at the appointed day,” all things will be “ready for the wedding,” and that prophecy shall fulfilled where He said, “Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God” (Rev 19:7-9).

No group of Gentile Christians, large or small, has been granted such an honor, unto this time. However, that honor shall be given to someone. Then shall the words of Paul come to pass, “In a race run all, but one receiveth the prize. So run that ye may obtain.” “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.” What a day for the righteous when “The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former!” (Haggai 2:9).

HEAVEN.......OR ..........HELL!

Some scriptures on heaven come from: Rev. 21:4; Rev. 22:1-5; John 14:2 Some scriptures on hell come from: Rev. 14:11; Daniel 12:2; and Luke 6:23

People of God, I have found that not too many pastors are preaching or even teaching on heaven or hell these days. Most just want to "throw out" to the people , who have "itching ears", just what they want to hear. And that is, with some, just how they can prosper and have money and materialistic gain while on the earth. It's as though, some think they are going to dwell on this earth for eternity. When the Bible specifically tells us that heaven and earth shall pass away. And there shall be a new heaven and a new earth. The word of God also challenges us to choose ye this day who you're going to serve. God or mammon. We can't serve two masters. We would either love the one and hate the other or some are even found to be "luke warm" . And we know that Jesus said He will spew you out of His mouth if He finds you in that state of mind whereas you can't even make up your mind to decide good over evil, right over wrong, holy rather than the evil things that satan offersSome are so mixed up and confused and have their priorities alll mixed up that they think it's all about how large the building called church is, that they tend to forget that the church is the body of Christ We , who are called by His name , are the church. How could some be so confused Also, how is it that they reverence and honor the pastor, who is a man (or woman) and not give more honor and reverence to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ

Well, I came to tell you from the word of God, something about heaven , then about hell. You , of course, have the gift of choice as all God's children and will have the right and priviledge to choose which way you want to go when you leave this earth. Will it be HEAVEN or HELL The choice is up to you. Why would I be asking such a question to you, who are called by His name, you say Well, because everybody who goes to church is not saved. And lots of people hide behind the name Christian and also adore their pastor and the building name of their church, etc. They don't really know who Jesus is as their personal Lord and Savior. Some have accepted Him in their hearts as their Savior, simply because they don't want to die and go to hell Others, say, well I believe in God, but they never mention Jesus' name Others will allow Him to save their soul from a burning hell, but will not allow HIm to Lord or rule in their lives Here's what John 14:2 says about Heaven.......IN MY FATHER'S HOUSE ARE MANY MANSIONS (ROOMS); IF IT WERE NOT SOP, I WOULD HAVE TOLD YOU SO. I GO TO PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU, (JESUS SAID); AND IF I GO TO PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU, I WILL COME BACK FOR YOU TO RECIEVE YOU UNTO MYSELF. In Revelations 21:4 He says; HE WILL WIPE AWAY EVERY TEAR FROM THEIR EYES, AND DEATH SHALL BE NO MORE, NEITHER SHALL THERE BE ANY MOURNING, NOR CRYING, NOR PAIN ANYMORE, FOR THE FORMER THINGS ARE PASSED AWAY.

And in Rev. 22:1-5 THE RIVER OF THE WATER OF LIFE, BRIGHT AS CRYSTAL, FLOWING FROM THE THRONE OF GOD AND OF THE LAMB THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET OF THE CITY.......THE TREE OF LIFE WITH ITS 121 KINDS OF FRUIT...AND THE LEAVES ON THE TREE WERE FOR THE HEALING OF THE NATION. NO LONGER WILL THEIR BE ANTHING ACCURSED. .......NIGHT WILL BE NO MORE. Now, we know from these scriptures, describing Heaven, that we shall be filled with joy and no sorrow and if we're sick on earth, we can rest assured that we won't be sick in heaven and shall have no more pain. So, we shouldn't be sorrowful of our loved ones who have gone on now, after you and I have seen them here on earth in such pain and agony , whether it was cancer, heart trouble, crippling arthritis, diabetis, etc. whatever the disease was that took them out, we should rejoice in knowing that they are out of their pain and misery now and shall have no more pain because the Bible tells us so. And no matter how much we suffer be cursed and called every name but a child of God, we can rest assured that there shall be nothing more accursed in heaven. No more will be be poor and needy or in poverty in Heaven.

We shall walk the streets of gold, for it says so in Revelations 21:21. You can look it up for yourself. There shall be a new Jerusalem. And the Father and the Lamb shall be all the light we shall need, for there shall be no darkness there. There is so very much that it's hard to put it all on this commentary. I get overjoyed when I even think about it AWESOME GOD Now, it's time to think seriously Saints of God , about where you truly want to spend eternity. Will you be ready when He comes There are so many who are just church goers out of habit and they do so just to please mom or dad; grandma or even the preacher who has been the family's pastor for years; but are they really being taught about Jesus and about Heaven or Hell, whereas they can make their choice as to where they want to spend eternity. Some may go to church and go through all of the formalities, but deny the power thereof Some are "back sliders" and think all they have to do , after doing their own thing, is go before the church and beg forgiveness, but they forget that God sees all; hears all, and knows all and above all HE'S SOVEREIGN LORD, AND HE'S IN CONTROL OF ALL THINGS HELL is described in Rev. 14:11 as no place of rest. And Daniel 12:2 says their shall be shame and everlasting contempt And Luke 6:23 says there shall be TORMENT Well, saints of God, you can read more on your own time. I , personally, didn't need to go any further to realize that HELL is not where I want to spend eternity. That's right...it's too long a time to spend andnot have rest and be in torment The rich man and Lazarus parable (Luke 16:19-31) tells that the rich man was burning so much that he begged Abraham to let Lazarus dip his hand in water just to give him a drop or two on his tongue to cool himself. And he also begged Abraham to send someone from the dead to warn his brothers and sisters not to come to that place called HELL SO CHILD OF GOD, if you are truly born again, you don't have to worry about winding up in hell. But, what about your friends and relatives who have rebelled or back slidden Do you interced in their behalf or do you even care that they may be headed for HELL


It's time to get concerned at least enough that you will witness more to those who you know are not saved and may be seeking the truth, but in the wrong places. Time to present to them the question; IS IT HEAVEN OR HELL And by your showing them that you love them and that you care where they will wind up at the end of this journey on earth...will start them to thinking and hopefully care enough about their own soul's salvation. Do Nothing

BY: JEFF GODSOWN What kind of people have we become? We see daily, people being attacked, hurt, raped, killed, stolen and stolen from, and even kidnapped, and what have we done about it? Do we fall to our knees in our spare time, if we remember, and say a little prayer? Do we stand back and leave it up to someone else to handle?

In this world filled with troubled times and people, are we actually showing compassion and love for one another? The answer to that question lies within each of us, if we do nothing to stop the sin and affront to people, then we’re as guilty of crimes as the perpetrator! Gal 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. Every day of our lives, whether we are Christians or of the world, we see people being tormented, abused, and murdered, just so someone can feel good about themselves, why? Could it be, we who claim to be Christians, don’t know the law of Christ, this is not a place to be, if you don’t know Christ, then He probably doesn’t know you! Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. His law is simple; Mat 22:36 Master, which isthe great commandment in the law? Mat 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment. Mat 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Mat 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Jesus didn’t just say it here, as if it wasn’t all that important, He re-iterated it; Mar 12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: Mar 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. Mar 12:31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. How can we go through our daily lives and not care about the injustices done to people? Could it be John spoke correctly when he said; Joh 5:42 But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you. Do you have the love of God in you, I’m not talking about being able to hug, kiss or shake hands with those who look right according to your standards. What about the drunk on the corner, or the drug dealer or user who comes to the end of themselves and cries out to God?

How about that small child who may have down syndrome or who is autistic, what about that homeless person or family who don’t smell so good? How about that wrinkled old person who has lived a life of real hard and true work? When was the last time, you took time from what you do to go visit someone in the hospital or the assisted living programs? How many times have you gone to help, in one fashion or another children or people of any age, who struggle to accomplish those things we take for granted? Every day we see news on this missing person, or maybe that person who was being bullied and committed or tried to commit suicide, where was your heart when you walked past them? What if God suddenly decided you’re next, and now it’s your turn to get bullied, or maybe it’s your turn to become the drunk or drug addict? What if God allowed satan to fill your head with thoughts of suicide, or maybe made you feel all alone? What if you suddenly became the battered woman or child, covered in bruises but no one noticed or saw your pain? How will we answer God when He says; I told you to love your neighbor as yourself, so why didn’t you? The drunk, the drug addict, the abused person whether child or senior, the children stolen from where ever they were playing, and it was supposed to be safe, the elderly couple who struggle to get their newspaper or shovel their walks, the crying child who is lost, are they not worthy of our love? What if it was you; for the religious beliefs you have or maybe your inalienable rights are being taken away from you, daily by people who try to make themselves out to be kings and monarchs? What if life as you know it was changed all topsy turby and the only way you can get help is with an implanted chip, but either for religious reasons or maybe you’re just not the right type, you are denied? What if some other country came in and took over your house, your car and all your belongings, and you suddenly find yourself kicked to the curb? What if no one cared at all, not even those who have suffered before you, all because you didn’t care enough about them? What if God said; Gen 6:13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

Exo 32:9 And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people: Exo 32:10 Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation. God has said it before, what makes us think He won’t say it again about those who show themselves uncaring about others? It is past time, yet time still remains, that we can do something about what needs be done. Let us repent of being uncaring, unloving, selfish people, and let us start fighting against the injustices. Let us band together in unity, no one seeking their own, but all seeking the betterment of others, remember when God said march around Jericho, I don’t recall anyone saying, let us pray about it first. It time we put our faith into action, and stood up for those who cannot stand up for themselves, Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even the un-churched have had enough and are banding together to fight against the tyrants of this world, isn’t it time the church took her place as the head and not the tail? Think about it, think real hard about it, then let us step up and do what’s right!!!

“An astonishing and horrible thing has been committed in the land: The prophets prophesy falsely, And the priests rule by their own power; And My people love to have it so. But what will you do in the end?” (Jeremiah 5:30-31, NKJV)

I’ve been spending a lot of time reading the Old Testament prophets lately, and I can’t help but relate many of the conditions and warnings of those times to where we are today. I see two options as a result: We can ignore the warnings of God’s Word and continue on in our own self-absorbed pursuits, or we can choose to heed God’s warnings and humble ourselves and pray for revival. If we choose the first option, we may enjoy ourselves for a short time, spending our lives in pleasant activities (not necessarily sinful) but inevitably ending in judgment and destruction for our nation. Or we can choose to follow the admonition of 2 Chronicles 7:14 and “humble [ourselves] and pray,” for we serve a faithful and merciful God who may yet send revival and healing to our land.

I know there are many of you readers in lands other than my own (America), and that you too see the need for prayer and intercession for your country. May we, as Christ’s representatives here on earth, be faithful to choose wisely and pray for revival! For if we do not, God’s Word via the prophet Jeremiah asks, “What will you do in the end?” Even if we are saved as individuals, what of the others who are pleased to follow false prophets “rule by their own power,” rather than God’s? Dear Mr. President, I am joining the unknown numbers around the world who are praying for wisdom for you as you confront this present evil of chemical weapons in Syria. God has promised to provide wisdom to those who trust in him (James 1:5). I do not offer this cynically. I want God to help you and hope you would welcome his help. As the pictures of children who died stream across our screens, you are right to declare it unacceptable in our world. Earlier, Secretary Kerry called it a “moral obscenity,” and Vice President Biden noted that these weapons were used “against defenseless men, women, and children.” The desire for justice and peace rises within us for those who have been attacked this way. What About Our Own Children? I am grateful for such a clear statement against evil from you and your senior leaders. But I fear that America is guilty of hypocrisy on this issue of how chemicals are used against defenseless children. You reminded us that Syria and the Nazis used chemicals to kill people; but today it will happen in America. We have no right to claim the moral high ground.

In 2008 alone, almost 200,000 children were killed through chemical or medical abortions in the United States, according to the Jones and Kooistra report. Because of cost and ease of administration, the number of chemical abortions today is likely even higher, though the overall abortion rate has dropped since 2008. Children with Nowhere to Run And it is a violent end; when administered “correctly,” mifepristone cuts off the production of a necessary hormone for pregnancies to continue. The baby’s source of life is cut off. Another drug, misoprostol, is then administered to force contractions, expelling the child from her mother’s womb. Even when the drugs are not effective in “ending the pregnancy,” Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers require that a surgical abortion be performed to finish the task. These victims have nowhere to run or hide. Their doctors are not about to provide comfort or care. A Tragic Inconsistency This makes no sense in a nation with a Federal Unborn Victims of Violence law that prosecutes people for violence against unborn children. A man recently plead guilty in a Florida courtroom to other crimes as part of a deal to avoid being prosecuted under the Unborn Victims of Violence law because he was afraid he would end up in prison for the rest of his life. His crime: tricking his pregnant girlfriend into taking Cytotec, the second drug of the chemical abortion cocktail that kills unborn children. He was going to be rightfully prosecuted for harming an unborn child using the very drug that is administered every day in abortion clinics and doctors offices across the United States.


Women Harmed As Well And women are being harmed as well. Though marketed as a safe and less expensive alternative to surgical abortion, the FDA reported in 2011 that since mifepristone was approved in 2000, more than 2200 “adverse events” happened to women, and 14 women have died from using this drug. Mr. President, you are rightly bringing the issue of chemical violence before the entire world. You said in your speech that “with modest effort and risk, we can stop children from being gassed to death and thereby make our own children safer over the long run . . . .” Be the Children’s Voice Please, make that modest effort, and take that risk for children in your own country who are dying through chemical abortions. Please use your unique position as the leader of the free world to say this violence must stop against unborn children. Use your political pulpit to proclaim that chemicals must not be developed, marketed, sold, or administered for the sole purpose of killing defenseless people. It is outrageous in Syria, and it is outrageous here. They literally have no voice, sir. You can be that voice, end the charges of hypocrisy against you, and truly take a moral high ground on this issue for the whole world to see. God Is Speaking To Us By His Son... Kenneth White

September 3, 2013 at 2:04am The overshadowing power and presence of the Holy Spirit will bring forth the son of God within us as surely as it brought forth the Son of God in Mary. There is no other road to sonship. Christ in you is the hope of Glory. Though Christ was separated from Mary, He will not be separated from you, for what is mortal must be swallowed by His life. Except a man be born from above, he cannot see the kingdom. He who dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Sonship comes about by dwelling and abiding in the overshadowing presence of the Holy Spirit, walking, living, and breathing in Him. It cannot come to those who persist in show or those who crowd in for a few minutes of praise, prophecy and signs only to go away and fill their ears and eyes and hearts with the sounds and sights of earth for the rest of the day. God is speaking by His Son. Our sonship, like His, is accomplished by the overshadowing power of His Holy Spirit continually touching our lives, our hearts, our thoughts, and our minds. All else beside this is vanity and loss. As He was begotten by the overshadowing power of the Spirit, so also are we.

A tea cup cannot contain the ocean, neither can the world contain the books that should be written about Him, yet I fear ,that for all our learning about Him we have missed one of the most essential things. We learn of His doctrine. Word by word .we study His sermons and dissertations. We preach about His miracles and healings. We talk of His love and mercy. We marvel at His answers and wisdom. Our hearts are made strong by His promises and we are brought to penitence by His rebukes. ,But have we forgotten that all these glories came from what He inherently was? He gave life because He was life. He spoke wisdom because He was wisdom, and all its universal treasures dwelt in Him. He healed the sick, not because of a gift of healing, but because of the overwhelming presence of life which ‘•• swallowed up every degree of death that entered His presence. In Him was life. The words of wisdom falling from His lips had no origin in the schools of men, nor yet were they the inspiration of a gift from above. They dropped from a mind from which universal wisdom has come. He is wisdom. God has made Him so. Apart from Him there is neither wisdom nor knowledge. No secret was hidden from Him, not because of learning but because of what He was. God is speaking by His Son. Let us pass beyond the realm of doing to the realm of being. Spiritual gifts are an excellent way, but they must cease to make way for the more excellent way. The more excellent way is the way of sonship where everything is God and God is everything. Though I speak with the tongues of men and angels and have not love, I am as sounding brass and a tinkling cymbal. Now please tell me, what is love? Have we not learned that God is lovel He who dwells in love dwelleth in God and God in him. But if I speak with tongues, perform mighty miracles and have the gifts of healing, prophesy a great deal and give many gifts to the poor, yet I am not moving in Him, I will be like those deluded ones who will come saying: “Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name, and in Thy name cast out demons, and in Thy name done many wonderful works’ And He will reply, “I know you not.” Cease crying for a return of gifts. Gifts are always compassed with the dread infirmities of those who possess them.

Seek rather to go on to that more excellent way, for that is the way of sonship and the kingdom. If God is removing the spiritual gifts, it is for a reason. He definitely has been removing them for some years. Jesus did His mighty works, not because of gifts but because of what He was and still is. That is the more excellent way. He showed love because He was love. He showed mercy because He was mercy. He spoke truth because He was truth. “What is truth,” Pilate asked, and had he waited for the reply, he would have learned this: “/ am the truth, the life and the way.” He does not just give life. The so-called modern version of the Middle East sits where Africa, Asia and Europe meet. The countries of the modern Middle East are all part of Asia, but for clarity reasons we geographically show them here as a separate landmass. That's very much like Georgia, the former Russian republic, now a part of Europe. This diabolical act is plunging our world daily into a state of hopelessness and total spiritual darkness. It is not only time to pray but to speak out and act against those who are placing our lives in danger of extinction! It is time to say enough is enough and tell them NO to their faces and mean it. Their self purposes have ruined the world morally, spiritually and physically and religious leaders seeking prayers should also speak out before it is too late. It is of grave importance to our world today that we pray for Leaders who are wise enough to strive for peace to return to our world; that has been misled into suffering millions for personal glory. When we have Leaders with the mind of peace, unity and transparency; some sanity will return to the global scene. The real problem is they are feeding us false information in order to achieved selfish gains that might not be I the interest of everyone. Our world is not the Wild, Wild West for cowboys to roam and shoot Indians among others for selfish gain. The days of slavery have been declared abolished and yet many countries today remain under the rule of cowboy leaders who enslaved them intellectually while taking away their resources and dignity. War and bloodshed is never the answer to any conflict and has never been. Give me a single war ever since Vietnam that has been fought that brought peace, stability and sanity to the people. Recently we have seen cowboys go on a wild goose chase to Iraq with a mandate to better the lives of those who they claimed were in bondage. After the war in Iraq , if I was to analyze the difference between the days of so-called tyrant rule of Saddam Hussein and freedom after the war of today ; I would rather Iraq had remain under the tyrant . Madness has broken loose in that land and no one cares. Sleep has fled and insecurities raging the land. Daily there are reports of causalities and death from bombings and murders of innocent children and women who deserve the right to live. Was there really a war to stop tyranny, to destroy weapons of massed destruction? If you ask me I would say it was a war for the victors to cart away millions of barrels of crude oil while the people kill themselves. Then, there is the example of Libya and the quest to get rid of another tyrant. War was raged on the land and the tyrant was disposed of; but Libya today is back to the state of the dark ages, with roaming gunmen making life almost impossible for many.

Finally there is the tale of Egypt where a Western backed Muslim brotherhood was installed into office and a western undermined revolution disposed of him and plunge that nation into darkness. In each case nothing of sense, logic or reason can be found except that the cowboys enjoy stories of bloodshed of the innocent, loss of property and chaos. Are we really truthful to ourselves? In each case the motive was different from the purpose and dis-information given to the world. Of course, many of us know that the present intention of President Obama to go to war in Syria is not really because of chemicals weapons. We also know that President Putin defense of President Assad is not because of love or the right to protect an oppressed nation. Yet we remain silent and millions are losing their lives and properties daily for foolishness .So, what is the real issue about? I think there is some game going on here about getting a or holding fast to a suitable and strategic military base in that region in case of regional or world war . So no one really cares about the Syrians millions that are dying or displaced by the conflict. No one really wants a functional peaceful solution for Syria today ; but the territory for their military purposes. Iran will do all it can to stop the United States and her allies from getting that base because it could be used as a launching pad in any conflict against them; thus their interest in fueling Assad. For Russia it is one of her last strong hold in the Middle East and she is determined to keep that base since the split up of the former Soviet Union took away most of their strategic based of defense in case of war and the West need that base I case of a war with Iran which they claimed is building . Now isn’t this a recipe for another world conflict or Vietnam? Why risk the security of the entire earth on an unjust cause; when if Leaders of today knew the true meaning of peace, there would be no need for bases?

Ok President Obama and the rest of your supporters, you claimed to be fighting Al-Quada and other jihadist groups in other countries ; so why fight along with them in Syria if indeed they are the terrorist you clamed them to be? You claim if they are armed in other countries they would pose a clear and present danger to peace and stability of the world; so the question is why armed them in Syria and fight alongside them to overthrow Assad? Is Assad more dangerous than these enemies you claimed to be fighting all of these years? Why are you leaving major world issues aside that needs to be tackle and focus on cowboy games of war without justification? It is interesting to note that your excuse for launching strikes against Assad government because of chemicals weapons are weak for the very weapons you are going after Syria for ; you have stockpiles of same in your nation . Why don’t you clear out the dirt from your ow eyes before seeking to clear out the dirt of others. If you go to war on the side with people whom you label terrorist; then who are you? If you go to war with the enemies of Israel and arm them; after the war in Syria; where will the weapons be used? It is time to put a halt to these silly war games and allow others to live in peace and sanity? Look at the vast economical , moral and spiritual challenges facing our world today . It is your place to quench fires and not start them. Like I said above the fires you started in Iraq, Libya and Egypt are yet to be dosed with water and the lives of those there restored to normalcy. Leave Syria alone and allow peace to take its course! No cowboys; enough is enough! I want you to know that your cowboy fires are affecting the religious sanity of the world today and plunging our world in both physical and spiritual darkness. Religious people are now at war against each other instead of serving God. Christian minorities in countries like Egypt and Syria are the front line targets for reprisals. Muslim groups are tearing each other apart in Iraq and daily many lose faith in God because of leaders with poor insight and vision.

Believe you me that your greed for military dominance will soon plunge the world into a state of extinction; for one day a foolish cowboy will start a war that will be the trigger to wipe out most of what we know as earth today . You can never do it on your own. Peace can only return to Syria and other countries if you seek it honestly and not with hidden motives for selfish gains. It is your urge for power and your thirst for blood that has plunge our world to the vast economical problems we face today. The huge amount of money you spend on the military to insured you dominate the lives of others could be put to better use. It is still possible to have a super state of mentally balanced people, a well fed nation whose example would dominate the earth; bringing peace and sanity which will foster unity, growth and development! To President Putin ; if you leave out your selfish motives and concentrate on the opportunity you have to bring Assad to the peace table or convince him to give up power for the benefit of unity and peace , you could be a world hero. Both you and nations like China can interfere positively in this matter and make both Iran and Syria to see the need for a peaceful solution to this crisis. Look at the rights of the people of Syria and stop fighting for their soil because you want to save the world from what you think as Western domination and supremacy. No one nation will ever be supreme on this earth for it is not a divine agenda that man dominates man. Remember Germany of those day ad the vast power you amassed during the days of the Soviet Union. Even America is o the path of falling like Hitler if she continues on a similar path. The same pride and obsession for power to dominate the world that brought about the downfall of Hitler’s Germany will bring about your downfalls if you all persist upon this evil path! So, TRUTH, like the People of the Most High has been dispersed and broken and misrepresented. If we are open-minded to SEEKING truth we must be willing to look in remote and sometimes "forbidden" places. It's like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle coming together to make "the big picture!" Not one of those pieces is relevant as it stands alone. The adversary is cool with you taking a piece of the puzzle and building doctrine and denomination on it because it's not the complete picture and has no power to save, deliver, or heal. As you search, you will find that things may be wrapped in a different package, but the contents are identical! AND...you will find the missing pieces as you study! As you begin putting them together, things become very clear and a huge relief comes over you-with the help of The Spirit. When we are so dogmatic and religious about a PIECE of the puzzle and insist that it is THE ONLY WAY, we miss opportunities to share and to grow as an individual.

I prayed to Yahuah my Elohim and confessed: “O Yah, You are a great and awesome Elohim! You always fulfill your covenant and keep Your promises of unfailing love to those who love You and obey Your commands. But we have sinned and done wrong. We have rebelled against You and scorned Your commands and regulations. We have refused to listen to Your servants the prophets, who spoke on Your authority to our kings and princes and ancestors and to all the people of the land. " Yah, you are in the right; but as you see, our faces are covered with shame. This is true of all of us, including the people of Judah and Jerusalem and all Israel, scattered near and far, wherever you have driven us because of our disloyalty to You. Yah, we and our kings, princes, and ancestors are covered with shame because we have sinned against You. But Yahuah our Elohim is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against Him. We have not obeyed Yahuah our Elohim, for we have not followed the instructions He gave us through His servants the prophets. All

Therefore, Yah has brought upon us the disaster He prepared. Yahuah our Elohim was right to do all of these things, for we did not obey Him. “O Yahuah our Elohim, You brought lasting honor to Your name by rescuing Your people from Egypt in a great display of power. But we have sinned and are full of wickedness. In view of all Your faithful mercies, Yah, please turn Your furious anger away from Your city Jerusalem, Your holy mountain. All the neighboring nations mock Jerusalem and Your people because of our sins and the sins of our ancestors. “O our Elohim, hear Your servant’s prayer! Listen as I plead. Heaven on Earth

By Pastor Joel McNabb We have all heard stories of what heaven may be like. It has been recorded in song and published in books and magazines. You may have your own vision of what you would like it to be: Peter at the pearly gates, opening the gate for someone to enter; and you pass by some angels on clouds or in a man- sion, or a corner cabin. They are all sitting around the throne of God on his right side, with harps in hand singing, “Holy, Holy, Holy.” Some may have even had an after death experience: seeing a light, going to heaven and then coming back. We want to see our loved ones, the men and women of the Old and New Testament, and most of all we want to see the One who died for all. As Jesus hung on the cross, His promise to the thief next to Him was that he would be with Him in paradise. With this statement, we envision ourselves in a Garden of Eden type place, strolling around in robes and crowns. Could this really be what heaven is like? Where did Jesus actually go when He died on the cross? Since we do not see the heavens or the Kingdom of God, we can only dream of how it is. To answer any of these questions, we will have to consider John 3:13, “And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.” This pas- sage is not as popular as verse 16 of the same chapter, which most believers are able to quote:, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John wrote this epistle well after the death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus, and James the brother of John, and other disciples were al- ready martyred at this time.


This shows that Jesus was the only man to have gone to heaven before or after His death. This same John, who was exiled to the isle of Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ, said that he was “in the spirit on the Lord‟s Day” (Rev. 1:9-10). In chapter four, when he saw the throne of God and the heavenly host, he says that he was in the spirit. In chapters 17 and 21, he was carried away in the spirit to see the woman on the beast and the great city descending out of heaven. All the things the angel showed John were symbolic of the things God has and will have on earth and in heaven. John was clearer about his experience than Paul was in 2 Cor. 12:1- 5, when he said that he could not tell if John was in the body or spirit. But John said clearly, “I was in the spirit on the Lord‟s day.” Jesus told Nicodemus, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3). So the Kingdom of God can be seen; but we must be born again before we can see it. This means that becoming born again does not automatically make you a part of the kingdom; it only makes you able to see it. We also must believe that the Bible is God‟s word, for “faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word” (Rom. 10:17). If we are to see and understand what the heavens are and what the kingdom will be like, then it must found in the Bible. The first written words that God gave man were to Moses on Mount Sinai. Before Moses, He spoke to men by a voice, by His angel, or they were moved on by His spirit. On the mount, God brought a picture that revealed to Moses His law, how to worship, and the place where they were to worship. He called it a pattern, saying, “do all things according to the pat- tern... shown on the mount” (Ex. 25:9, 40; Num. 8:4). Paul said that the law was the pattern of things in the heavens, which things were an example and shadow of heavenly things (Heb. 8:5; 9:23). “For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect” (Heb. 10:1). The things that God revealed to Moses were like a dress pattern one might buy at the store. The individual pattern papers do not look like a dress at all; there are dotted lines on the papers, and you can only tell what shape the dress is by the shape you see in the picture on the package; even after it is cut out, it is not the final product or a dress. The tabernacle, the furnishings in- side and out, down to the curtains that made up the tent that was to house the very presence of God, all represent those things that God has in heaven, and good things to come.

These were only the dotted lines to a pattern of what God would reveal o man of the real: the things in heaven, and the heavenly things themselves (Heb. 9:23) Even the Temple which Solo- mon built was after a pattern God showed to David his father, when he wanted to build God a house (1 Chron. 28:1-21). Solomon built and furnished it with the same ac- curacy that God showed Moses, with detailed instruction of every piece of equipment down to the last pin or stitch. The tabernacle and the temple were not the real, just shadows, or a layout of what was to come. Jesus said, “For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John” (Matt. 11:13). He knew that when John the Baptist came, those things spoken and done in the Old Testament began to be fulfilled. Jesus and John both preached the same message: “Re- pent for the Kingdom of God is at hand.” With the written prophesies now in motion, the heavenly kingdom of God could be set up on earth as it is in heaven. With our sins forgiven, we become spiritual beings that can be used of God to build His kingdom on earth. We can see Jesus laying the foundations, as Solomon did, “in the fourth year” the foundation of the temple were finished (1 Kings 6:37-38). By, the fourth year of his ministry, Jesus had chosen twelve men and then another seventy men also, establish- ing the foundation upon which the church could be built, which Paul called “the foundation of apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone” (Eph. 2:20). When Jesus went back to heaven, he gave Peter the greater task of building upon that foundation. Think of all the times Jesus took his disciples up on a mountain. I can hear him say, “See thou make all according to the pattern I showed thee on the mount.” Peter was the one who believed on Jesus and did greater works than those that Jesus did (John 14:12). What else could it mean by greater works? Who could do greater works than those which Jesus did? There is no greater work than when Jesus offered himself and died on the cross. He was speaking of the magnitude of labor involved in putting together the material that both He and John the Baptist pre- pared by their ministry, as David did for Solomon to build the House of God. Jesus set up the altar of stone which had no man‟s tool on it: the Twelve (Ex. 20:25).

These twelve had not sat at the feet of Gamaliel or any other man‟s feet to learn the law; they were common men, the “average Joe,” from different occupations. These disciples were prepared by John and called by Jesus, who taught them his commandments in Matthew chapters 5- 7. The priests and leaders who questioned Peter and John after the miracle at the Beautiful gate of the temple marveled, knowing they were unlearned and ignorant men, and noticed that they had been with Jesus (Acts 3:1-11; 4:13). Now that the foundations were set, it was time to build, and on the Day of Pentecost they began to build the house on the apostles‟ and prophets‟ doctrine. Traditionally Jesus‟ ministry was about three and a half years, which would be the right timing of laying the foundation of the new temple in the fourth year. Accord- ing to the prophecy, the temple took eleven years to build, if we subtract the four years of building the foundation, we have seven years left to build the temple (1 Kings 6:38-39). The greater work that Peter did, in constructing the Lord‟s house, took seven years for him to accomplish, twice the time that Jesus had worked. Once the people had been gathered, Peter‟s massive work was to bring them to a state of acceptance on the altar that Jesus had set up. In Acts 5, we are told of an incident that shows the church had reached a form of perfection or acceptance: Ananias and his wife, Sapphira, both lying to the Holy Ghost set an unclean offering on the altar of the Lord, at the apostle‟s feet. They both agreed to this un- holy offering, and both were carried out dead. This could not and would not have happened if the house had not been perfected. We are told that great fear came upon the church and those that heard of it. And the rest would not join them- selves to them, but magnified them. And believers were the more added to the Lord, both men and women. Some even thought that if they brought their sick near enough to Peter, his shadow could heal them. Paul confirms the twelve as being the altar, “We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle” (Heb. 13:10). We can see that the church had been established and set in order; it just needed the finishing touches. The house was finished. Now there was one more prophecy to be fulfilled to complete the house. A question arose; some of the Greeks had notice that the widows among them were not properly being taken care of.

They came to the twelve who sounded a little insensitive here; they talked about not leaving the word of God to go about providing for the poor widows. Peter and the twelve were about to put the last nail in the house. They said to choose out seven men full of wisdom and full of the Holy Ghost, to set over this business, “Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars” (Prov. 9:1). When the apostles‟ laid hands on them, the word of God was increased, meaning they became the word of God made flesh (Acts 6:1- 7). Whenever prophecy is fulfilled the word of God increases, and be- comes alive. Before Jesus and John came along, the Bible was the word of God written in a book, but now it walks, talks, and lives. Every prophecy that is fulfilled causes the word to increase and proves it to be true. The men that prophesied had faith that words would become sub- stance. NOW we can see the faith is “the substance of the things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Heb. 11:1). The seven were not just some men chosen to make sure that the finances were taken care of, nor were they mere caretakers. Look at Steven‟s sermon, and Philip‟s revival. They were men of power, and full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, they be- came the fulfillment of the Candles- tick in the tabernacle, which had seven lamps of fire that the priests kept lit. The apostles, being the priests who did not leave the word of God, ordained the seven into those offices. They gave them the word, and they carried it to and fro throughout the land (Zech. 4:10). These men, by the sacrifice of the blood of Jesus, were made to sit in heavenly places. The manner of prayer that Jesus taught was coming to pass, “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven” (Matt. 6:10). Paul called it a heavenly gift and they were made partakers of the Holy Ghost (Heb. 6:4). When all this is set up, we have heaven on earth now. It is an order: a priesthood and offices that make up the true tabernacle and temple made up of disciples that have followed the commandments of our Lord. The law was the shadow, or mirror, of what was to be. These men took the pattern Moses saw of things in the heavens, and were purified becoming heavenly things themselves (Heb. 9:23). Paul shows us three things here: God‟s kingdom in heaven (things in the heavens), the tabernacle and temple (the patterns of things in the heavens), and the heavenly places in Christ (the heavenly things them- selves).

Paul also tells us that they had come to that spiritual city, “the heavenly Jerusalem, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in hea- ven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect” (Heb. 12:22-23). The men in the Old Testament prophecies are now fulfilled, “the spirits of just men made perfect.” It is required that we fulfill what they wrote and did or they would be made liars, “God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect” (Heb. 11:40). “That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past” (Eccl. 3:15). All of the Old Testament has to be fulfilled, as Jesus said, “Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled” (Matt. 5:18). I know that we all would love to go to heaven and see what God has there. However if He has the same pattern here on earth, and Jesus is sitting on the throne of David in the heavenly places, then it is heaven on earth. The fall of Lucifer left heaven lacking in its members; a third of heaven had gone with the deception of Lucifer. Things in heaven were maimed, and a healing needs to take place. God‟s right eye and hand offended Him, and He removed them (Matt. 5:30). So that the heavenly body would not perish, God came up with a plan to restore the heavens and show how great this sin was. He made man to replace that which was lost in heaven, and gave man free choice to choose between good and evil here on earth. Moses was given the law for a schoolmaster to lead us to Christ, who, with his sacrifice on Cal- vary, would give us the means to attain unto those places in heaven (Gal. 3:24). When the dead in Christ rise, and we which are alive and remain are joined together with them, we will make up on earth the complete image of what is now lack- ing in heaven. Jesus will rule on this earth for a thousand years in a kingdom just like what God had in heaven before the fall, and He will take His Sabbath day. God has en all judgment to the Son, and He will reign on the throne of David in the tabernacle of David meting out His true justice (Isa. 16:5). His throne will consist of those who have followed Him. They are the epitome of a disciple, and he will grant them to sit on thrones ruling and reigning in His kingdom (Matt. 19:28-30; 2 Tim. 2:12). Jesus will return to them that look for Him, without sin unto salvation. They are that mountain and the Bride prepared to meet the Bridegroom (Heb. 9:28; Rev. 19:7).

We can have our little piece of heaven on earth now, if we get ourselves into a condition to be vessels of honour in His house. Jesus will reign a thousand years here on earth, for He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. Then Jesus will subject Him- self to the One that put all things under Him, even God the father, that He might be all in all (1 Cor. 15:24-28). When all this is finished, then God will have a new heaven and a new earth forever, be- cause we have made our choice here on earth. I pray you will all choose to serve the soon coming, risen Savior, for great is your reward when you are made to sit in heavenly places. May the Lord give us understanding. Amen.

My Pastor's baby was only 4 years old and everytime he had the chance he would say to me"SISTER JESSIE MY MOMMA IS NOT YOUR FRIEND - HE WOULD EVEN HAVE A LOOK ON HIS FACE AS IF TO SAY - DO I LOOK LIKE I AM PLAYING"!!!


I was saying to myself - I don't like this little boy - so I thought; but He was telling me; when momma is home and around her people - they talk and I hear them and they think I don't understand; but I know my momma don't like you. He would tell me over & over; she would hear him sometimes & scream at him. MY MOMMA IS NOT YOUR FRIEND OUT OF THE MOUTH OF BABES COMES THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER!!! O she used me and she saw the anointing on me from day one; but here it is - I was the ONLY American in the Church!!! I won't say what nationality she was; but likeness seeks it's own kind. I watched her put people in position that I felt _ NO WAY!!!! I still loved her!!!! I will tell you this - many around her really like me and showed it later on. EXCEPT GOD BUILD THE HOUSE - THOSE THAT BUILD IT - BUILD IT IN VAIN was the message God gave me. She thought she stun me when she said "you are preaching tomorrow night". NO - I know what God had said and I struggled with the Lord trying to bring a cute message; I was in and out my room until my son said "momma it is going to be find". 3 Bibles on the bed - trying to change the hard hitting, cutting message. I even called an Apostle friend of mine & ask what "how can I bring a message against my own Pastor"? She replied - u must bring it!!!! I was still not happy about it. I watched the church come from 1 member to a full church and then I watched them leave - OMG!!!! I was so bold in what the Lord said - until after I spoke - she took the pulpit and said "I receive it and this was God"!!!!!! I was the last to leave her side - she told me a couple weeks later that she was closing the Church - everyone was gone!!!! It took a while before I visited another Church; having been invited by some that I knew. It came up what the baby had said to me over and over "my momma is NOT your friend". We were laughing - the Evangelist said to me - SO YOU FINALLY GOT IT HUH? WOW!!!! I wonder how many of you were under a Leader that did NOT like you; yet pretend they did??? I did grow under her leadership and then God says to me –

The religious leaders of Jesus' time were often perplexed at the associations Jesus kept, of the people He befriended, He flowed with and helped. But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law who belonged to their sect complained to his disciples, "Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?" Luke 5:30. Jesus' response: "I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent." Luke 5:32. At this juncture we witness the power of Grace over the Law! These religious leaders assumed a piety in their own righteousness, not in the righteousness of Christ; they failed to connect with the compassions and Grace of our Saviour and Redeemer. Yet again in Mark 2:17 "On hearing this, Jesus said to them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners. "But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice, "For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners." Matthew 9:13. We see Jesus' passion for His Mission expressed time and time again but clearly His critiques could not conceptualize this.

Jesus made it clear, I desire mercy not sacrifice. How easy it is to become caught up in self-righteousness. Scripture encourages us to do unto others as we would others do unto us. Friends to be able to effectively minister and administer the Gospel of Jesus to a very unrighteous, perverted, unhealthy world, we have to have a heart that breaks for what breaks His! We have all sinned, all come short of His glory this is why His mercies are new every morning. He knows our frame, He knows we are weak, He knows our composition, He knows our nature and for this reason He graciously and generously avails His pardon time and time again. Only by Grace can we enter His Presence, Only by Grace can we stand! If we in our unworthy states and with righteousness as filthy rags can feed on such privilege then how much more do we need to extend the same to all around us, in whatever condition and persuasion? That no one and nothing should exempt and exclude one from the Love and Mercy and Grace of our Heavenly Father.

We are the salt and light, the hands, feet, mouths, eyes; ears of Jesus and for these members to be acutely fine-tuned to the saving Grace of our Saviour, to be effective witnesses and carriers of His anointing must embrace broken, contrite hearts. For in our weaknesses are we made strong in Him. For it is in pardoning that we are pardoned. An encounter with Jesus penetrates to the core of our unworthiness and we instantly become new and transformed by His Grace. The woman at the well experienced this; Peter experienced this when He fell at Jesus' feet imploring Him to go away from a sinner like himself after witnessing the miracle of the biggest catch of fish. You see all we need do is bring Jesus to the lost and unsaved and He does the work. We plant seed, but it is God who makes it grow! "So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labour. For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building. 1 Corinthians 3:6-9. Yes being a Disciple of Jesus is about partnership. We do our part and He does the rest. Apart from Him we are nothing. To the woman caught in adultery He commanded, Go and sin no more! To her accusers He implored, 'you without sin, cast the first stone!' To the Roman Centurion He instructed - 'Go your servant is healed!', to the woman with the issue of blood; 'your faith has made you whole!' to the thief on the cross, 'today you shall be with me in paradise!' This is the Jesus we Honour, Praise and Worship best through our words, our actions and our deeds to all - all mankind. Let’s fear the Lord our God, who provides rain in autumn and spring and who assures us of a harvest in its season. - Jeremiah 5:24 (CEB) 2013 has been a really bad year. No, I am not writing this so fifty people will come on here and try to bolster me up with an emotional cheerleading session. Don't get me wrong, some great things have happened. Some incredible, glorious, only could be God things have happened. I rejoice in what God has done. I rejoice in what God is doing. I rejoice in what God will do. Yeah, but...2013 has been a really hard year. I'm not the only one who thinks so. It seems like everyone I talk to has a 2013 story. Whether illness, difficult people, broken relationships, constant obstacles, constant lack of funds, disappointment, frustration, depression, or other issues, it's like 2013 has been a year we all will be glad to see depart, nor will we miss it in the least. I don't know that the good outweighs the bad, or that good is meant to outweigh bad, or vice versa. I think good and bad are two separate things and trying to find a silver lining all the time ignores the realities that are often right in front of us, demanding that we make change, shifting into change.


When I got back from Europe in April, I realized I was beginning a new season. When I came to this realization, I had no idea how hard it was going to be. Sure, I've been in new seasons before, but somehow, this time seems different. It seems like the "new season" planting, sowing, watering, sprouting is arduous beyond belief. I run into the feeling that sometimes this new season field thing is just going to remain hard, cold ground that doesn't want to cooperate.

This year (and mind you, as I write this, it is only September, which means we still have three months of it left to go) I have seen people I was once deeply connected to fade into the background, become elusive, or just disappear all together. I have dealt with intense witchcraft attacks, individuals who saw fit to damage my reputation (yes, I do know when you are talking about me behind my back, even if I never say anything), and attack and betrayal even from my own leader. My long-standing best friend and one of the most important people in my life became at odds with me as a result of her behavior, and the situation has never been the same. After going on what seemed to be an arduous trip overseas, I started having migraine headaches again, which persisted for months. For the first time in my life, I had trouble writing. A long and stressful move surrounded by financial decisions, people running their mouths in gossip, and a general feeling at times like ministry just keeps veering off course in the wrong direction makes me wake up some days, shake my head, and wonder...where is all this going? The good news: 2013 will come to an end, and we will have the option to, when the new year comes in, start again. Something about that passing from December 31 to January 1 helps us to reset our inward resolve and press again for the new year. I am aware, though, that right now, an awful lot of us need to reset our Holy Ghost buttons and start over, right now. What God is progressively showing me is the need for a new start.

As I stand, looking out over the field that is this season, I am uniquely able to see the harvest, even if it is only by faith. The changes that are here are necessary, even though some of them have been hard and, at times, even painful. In the midst of the shifting, the change, the ends, there are also new beginnings. In this new season, God is giving me the opportunity to start over...and not just me, but many others in this shift, as well. I think a lot of us in the church have been "going along" for some time now with a certain status quo. Some of us have taken opposition to it, but haven't known how to turn the tide. Some of us were all right for awhile, but now suddenly are not all right, as if it snuck up on us all at once. Right now, at this time, God is giving us the opportunity to start over. We are being given the opportunity to change direction and go in the way in which He would have us go - a way that is right, and assured, and without spot or blemish. This year of opposition represents the changing paradigm, and the sad fact that not everyone is coming along with us for this shift. Those of us who have been pushed need to step back and look at why. We need to regroup and push in even harder as the attacks come when we know we are coming into a place of breakthrough and empowerment as we watch the progress form for this new time. We often hear about starting over or starting again in an upbeat context. In truth, it is something we should be excited about. We hear about how we get to do a new thing and be at the beginning of something...but we don't hear about the other side of starting again. Starting again means something else is over, and it may quickly mean those who have not seen fit to keep up or maintain aren't coming with you. It means letting the chips fall where they may. Sometimes we have to accept the hard facts that some things will be left unresolved, some people will turn and betray, and others will simply distance themselves unto a permanent silence. In the struggle to move forward, we have to accept that starting over means things will never be the same again.

I wish I could tell you all where the new season will take us. I'm an apostle; I am not a prophet. I know that we all need to turn our attention to our re-start; to reset our buttons with our inward repentances and our focus to get back on track. Beyond that, I don't know where all of us will wind up, how many will fall to the wayside, how long the season will last, or what the upshot of it is. I do know that I want to remain in God's will, and this new start is in His perfect timing. I don't have to wait until January 1 to reset; I can do it right now. In the meantime, I start over...I watch...I wait...I pray...I rejoice in what is good...and I trust God for whatever resolution is to come out of the difficult time others and I have all had thus far in 2013. LESSONS FROM ZIKLAG EXPERIENCE Pastor Wole Gbogboade

Text: 1Sam. 30:1-6

BACKGROUND The story of David at Ziklag is asinspiring as challenging to everyone. In fact, we all will definitely learnlife lessons from the story. David got to Ziklag while he wasbeing chased by Saul from Cave Adullam up until Ziklag, the land of thePhilistines. The king of the Philistines, Achish loved David so much and Davidloved him too. They both formed alliance that gave both of them protection. Theking gave David an asylum to stay protected from Saul on a parcel of land in thetown of Ziklag.While David now a renowned warrior joined forces with the king of Philistinesto fight and conquer other territories. David enjoyed this privilegedrelationship with the king of the Philistines forgetting that they were theenemies of Israeland he had once killed their Goliath. The relationship went on until they wereabout to go to war again and encamped in Aphek against Israel who had alsocamped in Jezreel and the princes of the Philistines told the king Achish tosend back David and his men reminding him that David could turn against them inbattle by reconciling with his master Saul. 1Sam. 29:1-7. Reluctantly, Davidwent back to Ziklag. v.8-11. The first lesson here is that 1-God prevented David from being killed in that battle should the princes of thePhilistines not voice out their displeasure, they could have plotted to killhim in that battle.

2- It would be morally wrong for David to fight againstGod’s people by aligning with the enemy. 3- It could have bungled his ascensionto the throne but, God helped him.

On arrival to Ziklag, Daviddiscovered that the Amalekites had raided not only the land of the Philistinesbut his own base too taking their wives and children with them together withtheir livestock. They even burnt down their shelters and properties. So, fromone sorrow from being sent back at Aphek, the warrior David came to an emptyabode with no clue where their families and livestock were! That was doubletragedy which made everyone of these soldiers cry out like babies and waileduntil they had no strength in them anymore. Even Priest wailed and the peoplethought of stoning David. But David encouraged himself in the Lord.1Sam.30:1-6. He asked Abiathar the priest tobring the ephod and inquired of the Lord whether he should pursue, will heovercome? And the Lord told him to pursue, overtake and recover all. v.7-8. Whenyou are in trouble, you run to God who is never troubled by your situation orchallenges instead, He has the solution. Thank God, David had a relationshipwith the Lord. Even when the priest was himself in the same dilemma, David wentto God direct who had kept him in the wood and had delivered Lion, Bear andGoliath into his hands. 1Sam.17:34-37, 51-54. When Saul was troubled, he wentto the witch of Endor because he had lost relationship with God. But, Davidstill maintains his relationship with the Lord. On your way to recovery, you mightneed to sow a seed of kindness to get your bearing. David met an Egyptian ladin the field sick; he ministered food and drink to revive him. v.11-12. Hehappened to be a servant of the Amalekites. v.13-14. He took David and his mento his masters’ hideout. David did not only recover all that belong to the land of Judah, he also recovered all thatbelonged to the Philistines that the Amalekites had stolen. God gave him doubleportion, exceeding abundantly! v.15-19.

Lesson here is, those who trust in theLord will never be put to shame. The sorrow of being sent away by Philistinesand all they lost to Amalekites can not be compared with the joy the Lord gaveDavid when they recovered all! Lesson here is, David did not dwellin the euphoria of his success in that battle. Neither did he allow materialwealth he got from it becloud him to adversely affect his relationship with theLord. As a matter of fact, an ordinance was established in Israel till today toshall spoils from war equally both with those who go to battle and the armythat stay to secure the home base. 1Sam. 30:22-25. After the victory, David inquiredof the Lord again and He then told him to relocate to Hebron the land that father Abraham hadpossessed. 2 Sam. 2:1-2. That was not all; Saul soon killedhimself in the battle against the Philistines under king Achish. After thedeath of Saul, the elders of Israelcame to Hebron to pledge their allegiance toDavid and anointed him king over Israel. 2 Sam. 5:1-4. Therefore, hewas not just king over Judah;he became the best king that Israelever had. Psalm 89:20-21. David was a man after God’s own heart. Acts 13:22.God gave King David an everlasting throne. “And we know that all things work together for good to them thatlove God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Rom.8:28 (KJV) Everything that David wentthrough: persecution in the hands of his brothers and Saul, training,disappointments especially at Aphek in Ziklag, shame in the hand of Nabal, abuseetc, all work for his good. For thirteen years when he was anointed atseventeen, he went through trials which God used to shape his both hischaracter and leadership quality until he became king at thirty years of age.While Saul was anointed king while he was searching for his father’s donkeys-no training neither was he groomed for the throne he occupied.

No matter the situation, maintainclose and cordial relationship with the Lord just as David did. The Bible says,those who know their God will be strong and they will do exploits (no matterhow terrible the circumstance is). Daniel 11:32. The enemy might mean it for evilbut, God will turn everything around for our own good. The Bible says, though weeping maytarry at night, there will be a glorious dawn of rejoicing. Psalm 30:5. The Lordturned their sorrow to joy; their weeping to laughter. Psalm 126:1-2. This may be likened to ourpersecution because of our faith or suffering because we are Christians. Paul,the apostle encourage us to take heart because it’s nothing compared with theglory that the Lord has promised those who endure to the end. “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for usa far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not atthe things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the thingswhich are seen aretemporal; but the things which are not seen areeternal.” 2Cor. 4:17-18. We must suffer persecutionbut it will enhance godliness in our lives. 2 Tim. 3:12. Paul said, if wesuffer with Him, we will also reign with Him. David said, many are theafflictions of the righteous but, the Lord delivers him from them all. Our Godis so faithful. The important thing is for us to hold on to the Armour of ourfaith. We may not know when, we may not know how but, He will prove Himselfmighty on our behalf. A GLORIOUS RESURRECTION! By Margaret Mullings

Be Blessed and encouraged as you read! I was thrown into a deep pit and was buried with black dirt but in the pit I regained consciousness and began using what was placed in my hand to work the dirt which was transforming the black dirt into quarry! Remarkably, the quarry was bringing me up like an elevator, and then just as I stepped on level ground, he who threw me in the pit began acting in an adversarial way. He repeatedly said, “She is mine, I own her!” Yet his words had no effect on me, it was as if he was in another world and I just kept on walking! It was a dream which felt so very real! Then as I sat upon my bed in complete silence, the Word spoke from Isaiah 53 beginning from (7)”He was oppressed and He was afflicted,yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, and as sheep before its shearers is silent, so He opened not His mouth.” (8)’He was taken from prison and from judgment, and who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgressions of My people He was stricken.” (9)”And they made His grave with the wicked but with the rich at His death, because He had done no violence, nor was any deceit in His mouth.” (10)”Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand.

By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, for He shall bear their iniquities.” Right now where ever you are, you may be feeling over whelmed by the situations you are being faced with and it may feel as if you are being buried! You maybe at the point of giving up, pause right where you are! Take a deep breath in, now breathe out……..There! Can you hear the Word speaking this time from the book of Matthew 27? (46)”And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli,la-ma’ sa-bach’-tha-ni?” that is, My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?(47)”Some of those who stood there, when they heard that, said, “This Man is calling for E-li’jah!” (48)”Immediately one of them ran and took a sponge,filled it with sour wine and put it on a reed, and offered it to Him to drink.”(49)”The rest said, “Let Him alone; let us see if E-li’jah will come to save Him.” (50)”And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. (51)”Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked. And the rocks were split,” (52)”and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised;” (53)”And coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.” You too shall experience a glorious resurrection from the pit which you have been thrown in! People,even your very own may have buried you with lies and have assassinated your character! Your best friend may have betrayed you and you may have been ambushed on every side! I tell you, you shall experience in short order a Glorious Resurrection which will leave your enemy shouting and ranting like a scorched record having no more power over you! I dare you to refuse to die in the pit which you may find yourself in, I challenge you to use what God has placed in your hand and work it! The Word is speaking and it is a clarion call to those who will heed the call! Matthew 28:18-20 (18)”And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

Just as the man, who threw me into the pit in the dream had no power over me! You too shall emerge victoriously to obey the command of Jesus Christ and experience a Glorious resurrection because of the finished work of the crucifixion, the Power of the Ascension and the work of the Holy Spirit! Arise from the pit today and experience a Glorious Resurrection! Much Love as you pause and calmly think about this!

Do you wonder why the word of God isn’t producing fruit(s) for you despite the promise of God to the contrary? Jesus had the answer for you in the parable of the sower. According to the parable, your harvest from the word is determined by 3 entities: The Sower: God. God is faithful. He cannot fail, lie or falter on His promises. Whatever He says, He can do. He says in His word, “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard me? Jeremiah 32:27 The Seed: The Word of God. The word also has no problem accomplishing its intended purpose(s). No barrier is strong enough for it.


For the word of God is quick and powerful, sharper than any doubleedged sword, it penetrates even to dividing the soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.� Hebrews 4:12 The Soil: The heart of man. According to the parable, there are four types of hearts: the busy heart, the stony heart, the thorny heart and the good heart. Since God cannot lie, and the Word cannot be hindered, the only variable remains the hearts of man. Your type of heart determines the possibility and amount of your harvest. The hearts analyzed below The busy heart: hears the word but doesn’t understand it. Then the wicked one comes and takes away the seed vs. 19 The Stony heart: receives the word with joy but have no foundation in the word. So when faced with a little challenge over the word, it falls away vs. 20-21 The Thorny heart: hears the word but the word is soon crowded out by the worries of this life and the lure of wealth, so no fruit is produced vs. 22 The Good heart: hears and understands the word. The word, in return, produces for it a harvest: thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted. Summarily, for every situation that you are in or trying to get out of, there is an appropriate word of God in the scripture. If you will Diligently Find the Word, Understand it, Believe it, and Confess it with Faith, NOT wavering, eventually, you will reap the fruits of your lips in thirty, sixty and hundred folds.

The Order of Discipline Among God's Kingdom Community of Saints BY: Dr; Leonard Robinson

Key Verse: Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; ....... Saints of God, the righteous requirement of the Saints of God is that we would live according to God's way of doing and being right and in Him is no unrighteousness. So He calls on us through the Word of God to deal with unrighteousness among one another. However, the Christianity many of us learned in our denominational and nondenominational settings, Bible School, College, University and Seminary is not the Kingdom reality Jesus established among the Saints. The following verses will reveal to you what is our individual and collective responsibility to deal with sin and the sinner among us who claims to be a brother/sister. You are called upon by God to do much more than just pray for them.

Many have failed in this obligation, some not even knowing we have such an obligation and others denying the responsibility so that they themselves could persist in their own sins, and yet others feeling unqualified to judge matters for fear that they themselves would find themselves at some point in the same sins or worse. Friends our Kingdom cultural identity as a people had become all but totally lost in a religious system of man's making. Ponder these verses I've posted here today and consider the matter proposed and ask yourself these three questions: 1. Have I been seeking and making priority God's Kingdom and righteousness that I would live God's righteous requirement under the sovereignty of His royal rule, authority, dominion and active rule of God in and through my life day to day, moment to moment? 2. Am I allowing my brothers and sisters in the faith to live unrighteously, not admonishing them and issuing the warnings God has ordained every follower of Jesus to issue to those who are supposed to be followers of Jesus too? Have I opted for allowing them to be spots in our feasts rather than reprove their sin for fear of losing them as a family member or friend. 3. In now coming to understand that God wants to do more than bless me materially, but that He truly does want my mind, will and emotions to prosper, will I exercise the courage and responsibility to make God's Kingdom and righteousness the object of my forensic study, coming to know what Jesus knew and wanted all His disciples to know about the mysteries of the Kingdom?

The verses below speak to the integrity of one who has come to know that Jesus is not only Savior but also King, who has established God's Kingdom within us as righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost with power to be and do all that He chose us and ordained us for, to include chooses us to judge matters of righteousness and unrighteousness among ourselves. Paul understands that God's righteous requirement and responsibility is on us and towards one another: 1 Corinthians 5:11 But actually, I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he is an immoral person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler-- not even to eat with such a one. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 10:7 Do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written: "The people sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in revelry." 1 Corinthians 10:14 Therefore, my dear friends, flee from idolatry. 2 Thessalonians 3:6

Instead of judging sin among us we ascribed to the half-truth and ultimately outright lie and misapplication of the scripture; "Judge not lest you be judged".... And so we never went on to read the rest of the matter. As a result the Church we have today is the Church man has been building in the name of Jesus but its not the Church Jesus has been building. The verses above describe how we are to be towards those that sin who call themselves saints, and also describe how we the Saints are supposed to be towards those who are in the government, i,e the President, etc... We've listened to teachers who are of a disturbed mind and a seditious spirit; forgetting that the powers that be, are ordained of God.... In the Kingdom of God the rule of God is first and final. God always has the final answer. As children of the Most High God He has given us to possess the Kingdom under the heaven and He has given to us the earth. We are stewards of all that God has granted. Our own lives are to lived as unto the King Supreme and in that we are to manifest the culture of the Kingdom, true evidence of our Kingdom citizenship and in so doing, we must also stand against sin, and against those who claim to be in the family but yet continue in sin. The culture of "judge not lest ye be judged" is un-Biblical and ignores the truth that God always reproves sinners and commands us all to walk uprightly towards Him, that judgment would be committed to us, and like Jesus we would not judge after the seeing of our eyes or the hearing of our ears but instead, having received of the Holy Spirit we judge righteous judgment and are rightly judged of no one. Are you ready for this? Are you ready for Kingdom living? Are you ready to live the "Kingdom Driven Life(c)" ?

You must live according to the Word of God applying the truths, the principles of the Kingdom, to every area of your life according to the will of God as delivered by Jesus to His apostles and His disciples and handed down to us through the scriptures.

Be the Kingdom culture God has called us to be, maintaining the standard of righteousness God has ordained for all that would belong to Him. You are indeed your brother's keeper when it comes to matters of the Kingdom of God and righteousness. Luke 22:3132"Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded permission to sift you like wheat; but I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and you, when once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers."‌

I was hooked the first leadership conference I attended. Zig Ziglar was the inspirational speaker on the platform that day speaking about priming the pump of the greatness within. I remember I spent $300+ that day to buy everything he had on his table – from marriage to sales – you name it I was all over everything regarding personal growth and leadership. Back then – you know back in the day – books of quotes were quite popular. And I began to collect them. I just loved the succinctness of quotes. I loved how such wisdom could be packed into a couple sentences. While my boxes of quote books are long gone. The speed of technology allows me to find quotes about anything via my favorite quote websites or even my favorite quote apps.

If you follow me onFacebook or Twitter you know I love quotes because I share them a lot. I often even take my own life lessons and observations in life and turn them into my own quotes.

Yet some quote are so great that you just have to dig a little deeper into their greatness so that you can apply them to your life. I’d like to do this with my favorite quote from Henry David Thoreau. You may recognize it. The modern version of it starts with “Go confidently” but I’d like us to dig into the greatness of the original quote from the early 1900′s. Here are the nuggets of greatness I find in this quote.  He starts with IF. Truth is IF we never move in the direction of our dreams we will never get there. We don’t have to know when, where, what, how and who to get there. We just have to start in that direction. If you want to write the next classic novel, start writing. If you want to find the cure for cancer, put yourself in a place to learn and serve those suffering with cancer. Regardless of what your dream is there are steps that you can take in that direction. Take steps each day…even if they are baby steps.  Confidently – I think this is the challenge where most people stumble or give up altogether (I know I’m guilty). It is their lack of confidence that puts them on the sidelines.

Note the quote doesn’t say you have to be confident in what you are doing, just confident in the direction you are going. I believe our Creator places dreams inside of each of us. We might not understand them, might not see how we can accomplish them, they may even seem contradictory to our personality but as odd as they may seem it’s the dream we have deep inside. You can doubt yourself, your abilities, even the possibility but never doubt the dream. To doubt the dream is to doubt the Creator. [tweet that] Live the life you imagined. Notice he didn’t say accomplish your dream THEN live the life you imagine. So often we put off living the life we imagined. We make excuses – not enough time, not enough money, blah, blah, blah. All forgetting the power of the Almighty God we serve. This will make for another blog post but I will give a quick example. I’ve always dreamed of spending summers writing (and riding) in the mountains. While that dream hasn’t been fulfilled in its entirety I can tell you God has already given me a glimpse of the reality of that dream. When I was setting out to write my first book a very close friend of mine who has a home in NC knew I had been procrastinating getting started. She didn’t realize that writing in the mountains was a dream. But she knew I wanted to write. She was headed to her mountain home to do some projects. She wanted to bring a friend but didn’t want to have to entertain them 24/7 so that she could focus on her projects. She decided to invite me. She could do her projects, I could write then we could enjoy our evenings. She knew I wouldn’t be able to make excuses about writing any longer. It was God’s way of nudging me – just go in the directions of the dreams I’ve given you. I am confident one day I will look out my back window and see mountains but for now (most days) I write from my back porch where the green oaks, pasture and the waterfall on my pool make an excellent substitute for forests, mountains and bubbling brooks. While you may not get the exact details of the life you’ve imagined with enough creative thought you can capture the essence of it.

A LEADERSHIP LESSON FROM A RANTING WOMAN

POSTED BY KAREN ZEIGLER I realize most don’t find a ranting woman very attractive. At this moment I don’t really care. It’s my blog. I know my women readers will understand. Sometimes a woman just has to have a rant, get it out and then she’s done. As for my male readers (25% of my subcribers) you’re welcome to roll your eyes and step away. But if you dare, take a minute to listen to my momentary rant, I’ll be sure to show you the leadership lesson in it.

So here we go. It may seem a little off topic but I promise you I’ll bring it back around. I just have to get this off my chest – this topic of Modesty. If I hear one more Christian, one more church, read one more website article touting the virtues of modesty I think I’m going to have to punch somebody. Don’t get me wrong I’m believe in modesty. I am modest and my example of modesty seems to have had a positive impact on my daughter. My husband and I have worked with youth for a long time so this frustration has been brewing for a while. The recent Miley Cryus buzz (which I write a leadership lesson from that here) has caused the frustration to surface again. Do I agree that girls/women shouldn’t have their butts hanging out the bottom or their boobs hanging out the top – absolutely! But it is NOT, I repeat NOT the end all be all solution to the epidemic rape culture our world is experiencing. I mean hello! Muslim countries have by far the highest percentage of rape and their women are covered from head to flippin’ toe in a Berka.


Obviously dress is not the issue. Truth is, it barely scratches the surface. Jesus put it this way when talking to the Pharisees. “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean.” Matthew 23:25-26 You see modesty is all about the outside of the cup. We spend all our time judging people (hello…another lesson there) and very little if any time teaching on matters that go on inside the cup. What’s inside the cup? SELF-CONTROL!! I pause this rant for you to take a second and just think about the changes to our homes, our schools, our churches, our nations…if we all just practiced a little more selfcontrol. I can barely get past just what improving that trait would do for me much less the world. But to teach that we’d have to talk about the Holy Spirit and that just might get too weird and turn people off. Or what about other inside the cup ideas that affect this topic – like kindness, and oh yeah patience – those might have a positive affect on our rape statistics, teen pregnancy just to name a few. Yeah, yeah…but what does this have to do with leadership? Thanks for asking. First of all as Christian Women your influence as leaders can have a tremendous impact on the issues of our day! Far greater impact than just teaching appropriate dress etiquette. But there’s more. You see this looking at the outside of the cup isn’t just a “judgemental Christian thing” it’s a human nature thing. It is in our nature to look to others, look to factors outside for the source of our problems. Yet it is rarely effective at solving the problems. As leaders problem solving is a #1 (or pretty darn close) responsibility for you. And here’s where the real lesson comes in. When the problems arise – sales aren’t strong enough, customer service is lacking, key relationships aren’t where they need to be – don’t just look at the outside of the cup. Don’t rush out fingers pointing demanding people change! Instead be first to look inside the cup.

5 DAILY HABITS TO PREVENT FAILURE

POSTED BY KAREN ZEIGLER I was reminded yesterday of the proverb – Pride comes before a fall. I have been reflecting since watching the sermon of a mega church with pastors hearts humbled and full of tears. I’ve seen it in churches, I’ve seen it in business (AIG, Fannie Mae, Chrysler) I’ve even seen it in myself. Yet it’s crazy how we don’t see it till our face has crashed headlong into the pavement. It’s painful – painful to watch, painful to experience. Yet it is enemy #1 of successful leaders – PRIDE.


Fighting this enemy daily is as important as brushing your teeth is to the daily battle against plaque. While you might not notice the build up if you don’t take care of your teeth, eventually you lose everything. While hygiene in America keeps us from rarely going down that road our daily habits when it comes to pride are not as deeply ingrained. So what can we do as Christian Women Leaders? What daily habits can we practice that will keep us from succumbing to the fate of all who blindly are drawn into the path of pride. P - keep People first. As I’ve watched business, goverments and churches fail I have observed that they stop putting the people first. Specifically they stop taking the time to listen to their people. Especially the people – customers, voters, or congregation members – that brought their organization to where it is. There attitude is “I’ve/We’ve grown this organization from the ground up. I/We know best. They are just complaining and grumbling. I have to keep the nay sayers out.” Listening to the nay sayers (especially when you detect a trend in what they are saying) can be critical in stopping the progression down the path of pride. R - Reconcile disagreements with Respect. This doesn’t mean that you have to change your position and agree with everyone that disagrees with you. It does however mean that you have the humility to acknowledge that the individual may have been hurt by your stance. It acknowledges understanding and respect for them as a person, regardless of whether you come to agreement on specifics. It means that in humility you find common ground in your dealings with individuals, bringing dignity and respect to them as human beings. I - eliminate the I did it’s. Even we did it is very dangerous when it excludes two very important people – the people your organization serves and the most important God you serve. D - Dedication to improvement. When you’re organization is on top of the world it’s easy to sit on your laurels, enjoy the view from the top. Careful if you’re not dedicated to keep moving forward, putting your faith out there guess what?

Put your hands out because here comes the face plant. Instead of meeting that fate be dedicated each time spent with an individual your organization serves to look for even small ways you can continue to improve. Recognizing there are things you can improve is placing yourself in a position of humility. Which is much better than the alternative of being placed in a position of humility. E – Expand your vision. To expand your vision negates the “I have arrived”. It replenishes your dependence on God and on the people you serve. When you expand your vision you will seek out God, seek out the advice of others, seek out the resources. It takes you out of that self-reliant slippery slope to pride and back into a position of humility. Make Time to Pray By: Karen Macias

Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Nearly thirty-five years ago, as a relatively new believer, I was getting ready to leave a Sunday morning church service when I noticed a newcomer sitting in the pew in front of me, a few seats down. As we all made our way toward the center aisle to exit the building, my eyes caught his so I smiled and introduced myself. We exchanged brief pleasantries, and then, as I turned to move on, I wished him well and promised to pray for him and his family during the week. I had no sooner climbed into my car, however, than I felt convicted of not having taken the time to pray for him on the spot. The feeling that I needed to offer to do so would not go away, though I argued with myself that he had probably already left. Still, I decided to go back into the building to check. Sure enough, though the sanctuary was otherwise empty by then, the young man sat alone in a pew, his head in his hands, and I realized my sense of urgency had been God’s call to prayer. I went to him and told him I believed the Lord wanted me to pray with him, and he began to weep.


“I live just down the street a few houses from this church,” he said. “My wife left me a few days ago and took the kids, and I’ve been so depressed. This morning I decided to give life one more chance by coming here to this church. I told myself that if God would send someone to pray with me, I wouldn’t kill myself when I got home. I’m so glad He sent you.” And I’m so glad I obeyed! How often do we say we will pray for someone and then forget our promise? And how important is it to obey God’s specific call to prayer? Sometimes that call to prayer comes as a nudge from the Holy Spirit, as it did for me that day more than three decades ago, but other times it comes through a command in the Scriptures. First Timothy 2:1-2 is explicit in its call to all believers to pray “first of all” for those in authority, whether political or church leaders. Are we heeding that command? Do we regularly pray for our pastors, our congres sm en, our President, regardless of how we may feel about them personally? I’ve been a part of the presidential prayer team since its inception in 2001, meaning that I daily prayed for President George W. Bush, those who worked with him, and their families. It also means that I now pray daily for President Barack Obama, those who work with him, and their families. As a believer I have no choice. If I fail to pray for those in authority simply because I don’t happen to agree with them, then I am being disobedient to God. And yet I have heard Christians complain about George Bush and his policies, as well as Barack Obama and his. We seem to be quite accomplished as complainers, but not so faithful as intercessors. In addition to being disobedient, that makes us poor witnesses to those who don’t yet know the One who issued the commandment to pray. I for one have been guilty many times of promising to pray but not following through. As a result, I find myself becoming critical of others.

Whether a young man contemplating suicide or individuals in positions of authority with nearly unfathomable responsibilities on their shoulders, people need us to be obedient and to intercede for them. Let’s commit together to use our words “first of all,” as the scripture instructs, to pray for and bless people, rather than criticize them. If we do, God will be faithful to fulfill His purpose.

Getting God Back in Proper Perspective

KATHI MACIAS “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:9). We humans were made in God’s image, not the other way around, though we often forget that great truth. As a result, we have a skewed view of God, of the world, of life, and of ourselves. The only way to make it right is to put God back in proper perspective. That means we can no longer examine Him under the microscope of our finite reasoning, but rather behold Him through the telescope of His Word. Our pastor has been teaching on God’s sovereignty, including the fact that by virtue of His sovereignty we have only one choice if we are to live in proper perspective as those made in the Sovereign’s image—we must adopt a servant attitude. Because we live in a wonderful country that has allowed us to participate in government, we often lack the understanding of what it means to live under sovereign rule. Those who live under a king or dictator or some other form of sovereign leadership understand much better than we. The difference is that our Sovereign is not human and therefore not limited by human abilities or tainted by human sin. But our call to servanthood is no less a reality; rather, it is more so, as our relationship to the Sovereign of the Universe is eternal, rather than temporal.


True, Jesus said that He no longer calls those of us who follow Him “servants” but “friends.” And what a great privilege that is! But it does not negate the fact that we are still to walk in submission and obedience to the One who has numbered our days and ordered our steps. America is a Republic, based on democratic rule that allows us a say in how we are governed. Not so in the Kingdom of God . We don’t get to vote on pending laws, protest existing ones, or elect a new ruler. God is in charge, period. He always has been and always will be, regardless of how humans may rant or rave, shake fists at heaven, or deny His existence. God is beyond our understanding because He is perfect and we are not. He is beyond our comprehension because He is omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent; we are not. He calls ALL the shots, not just some of them, and He has no need to consult us before He does so or apologize if we don’t like the outcome. And He was under no obligation to send His Son to pay for our sins so that we could have once again have relationship with Him. But He did. And that is the most stunning aspect of His personality to fathom. A perfect, all-powerful God, who needed nothing from us and owed us nothing, humbled Himself to come into our presence and reveal to us as much as we were able to understand about our Creator, as much as we needed to know to acknowledge Him as Sovereign Lord and willingly and joyfully give our lives over to His service. And because He did so, we are without excuse if we do not respond. An old Dennis the Menace cartoon so aptly depicts our necessary stance before a sovereign God, as it shows the little guy kneeling at his bedside, cowboy hat askew and plastic gun still holstered around his waist as he folds his hands in supplication and says, “I’m here to turn myself in.”

We with our crooked cowboy hats and plastic guns may think we’re in charge of our lives, but it is only because we have not understood that it is we who are made in the image of God, not He in ours. Throw away that microscope that minimizes the Sovereign of the Universe to One who exists to serve our needs, and start studying God through the telescope of the Scriptures. I promise you that very soon your magnified view of God will give you a servant’s heart that wants nothing more than to fulfill the purpose for which He has created you.

We often as real and true believers are faced with adversities, adversities that are designed to grow us in the Lord and in the knowledge of His Word. Little things happen that have an expected intent, and that intent is for us to read and study God’s Word, so we might have a firm foundation of confidence on which to stand. The real, true believer has a heart-felt clue about the price of redemption paid for them, so they dig deep, step by step in God’s Word and in prayer, to learn of and become intimate with the Lord. You will notice I have been saying the “real and true” believer, that’s because there is a point to this message that God wants understood by all, not just the real and true believer! God sees and knows everything we do, and God is not pleased with the 2 faced pretenders, those who refuse to examine themselves or allow the Word of God to show them their faults. These are the very same people, who believe the Word is there to perfect others, because they have this inner belief, they are already perfected, so conviction no longer applies to them. This pretty much sounds in description, like a fool; Fool FOOL, n. [Heb.] 1. One who is destitute of reason, or the common powers of understanding; an idiot. 2. In common language, a person who is somewhat deficient in intellect, but not an idiot; or a person who acts absurdly; one who does not exercise his reason; one who pursues a course contrary to the dictates of wisdom.

In scripture, fool is often used for a wicked or depraved person; one who acts contrary to sound wisdom in his moral deportment; one who follows his own inclinations, who prefers trifling and temporary pleasures to the service of God and eternal happiness. 4. A weak christian; a godly person who has much remaining sin and unbelief. O fools, and slow of heart to believe all the prophets have written. Luke 24. 5. To act like one void of understanding. To put the fool on, to impose on; to delude. FOOL, v.i. To trifle; to toy; to spend time in idleness, sport or mirth. FOOL, v.t. 1. To treat with contempt; to disappoint; to defeat; to frustrate; to deceive; to impose on. When I consider life, 'tis all a cheat; for fooled with hope, men favor the deceit. 2. To infatuate 3. To cheat 4. To spend for things of no value or use Let us examine what the description of 2 faced is; two-faced adj. 1. Having two faces or surfaces. 2. Hypocritical or double-dealing; deceitful ; insincere; marked by deliberate deceptiveness especially by pretending one set of feelings and acting under the influence of another; a person who is a backstabber, a person who talks about people behind their back and then turns right around and is there friend, A person who is phony or fake towards her/his fellow peers. Synonyms: artificial, backhanded, counterfeit, double, double-dealing,doublefaced, fake, feigned, hypocritical, Janus-faced, jive[slang], lefthanded, lip, mealy, mealymouthed,Pecksniffian, phony (also phoney), phony-baloney (orphoney-baloney), pretended, two-faced, unctuous We all know these types of people, and in fact we just may be this type of people and not see it.

We as real and true believers, whose heart really is the throne room of God, will seek God about this, knowing God’s promises are true. Psa 139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: Psa 139:24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. We real and true believers need only but ask and with confidence, believe God to rid us of our faults, and as He promised, He will. Now comes the hard part, it’s no fun, nor is it painless, but through time spent with God, we real and true believers know the end product is far better than what stands before God at this moment. For those of you who think you’re all that and a bag of chips, who think that it’s easy and painless, who think that you’re perfect and God need not do anything with you, you are very sadly mistaken. There is so much scripture I could put in here at this time to prove this point, but what would be the fun in that. You wouldn’t have to read far or search anything out for yourself, thus the Word in whole wouldn’t have its work in you. This I do want to remind you of, and all this is in obedience to God my Father; Php 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Php 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. We are not on this earth for our pleasure, nor are we here for our little corner of the world, we are here as instruments of God’s good news, heralders of life and freedom. So for all of you 2 faced individuals , let us recap. God sees everything we do and He knows the thoughts and intents of our hearts, amazingly enough, He is not pleased with 2 faced attitudes and as it stands according to scripture, you’re not going home with Him. I have seen time and again, people who walk around thinking their stuff don’t stink, and seeing them is probably a reason for me wanting God to have total reign over me, so thank you. Because God has put it on my heart to care about you, please don’t ignore these messages, they are far too important to your future life and your present freedom.

Psa 139:19 Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men. Psa 139:20 For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain. All good earthly things come to an end, God said if they do not change, then love for them must change to hatred, not so much for the person but definitely for the acts of that person, who will not submit! We have got to repent of doing and thinking things the way we do and do everything the way God said do them. Just as a simple reminder, David pointed out in Psalm 139, it doesn’t matter where David chose to place himself, he was never out of God’s sight. That should make all you 2 faced people nervous, because God see’s everything you do and He knows the intent of your heart. So while you go to church and act all Godly, it’s not there that you impress God, it’s how you act behind closed doors that shows just who you really are. Nothing is hidden from God. If you don’t know what God wants, it’s time you got into God’s Word and read and studied for yourself, AMEN!!!

I've heard a great many saint's and preachers talk of this saying how that God is angry about such m such or how that God is gping to get someone or destroy or whatever against somebody. Maybe the other swing of the pendulum is spoken saying how the devil did this or that. It's interesting to hear of these comments from supposed saved folk who talk as if they know more tham what I believe ia truth. First. God loves all of us saved and sinner alike. He loves no one more than another. If He did maybe there should had been more than one Jesus? But since thete wasn't I don't think God's love is degreed or biased unless we're speaking of the degree to which He sent His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON because of this HIS LOVE. Furthermore, if His love has or discloses any biases it would only be to the point of Him doing so without condemnation. Let me stay focused here. God's wrath was dealt with by Himself. Honestly, who on earth could? Only God could handle the wrath of God, and since there is no other God, it would be safe to say God had a moment unto Himself.

The Word says clearly that God was IN CHRIST RECONCILING THE WORLD UNTO HIMSELF. See beloved He was the only one who could. JESUS IA GOD. GOD RECONCILED THE ISSUE REGARDING HIS WRATH. His grace towards usward along with His mercy acted like a sponge and absorbed His WRATH. Now that we have been extended this reconciliation and since He lives in and with us He continues the ministry of reconciliation thru us all for the purpose of oneness. Really? That rascal just twisted your arm til you said OK? HA! HERE LET ME HELP YOU.... 1 Corinthians 10:12-22 These 10 verses have been torn apart, mishandled, and unwarrantedly abused with by those who have not taken the time to ask God His meaning and why He had Paul write it? For some these passages have been used individually to coarse and direct folks into positions that they need not be in. Read them together without the ch vs numbering and see for yourself how simple His Truth really is. The entire book is a letter. If I were to write you a letter would you just take bits and pieces out of it to conclude the entire meaning? So why do it with God's Holy Writ? Its almost like a pick and choose position some have. Staying on point... the devil doesn't make you coward and bow to temptation.


"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man..." Might I give what I have discovered? I have found three common temptations of saint's. They are : 1. Desire of vain glory. This is the big one. See Galatians 5:13, 26; 6:12-13; 1 Timothy 1:9-10) 2. Provocation or provoking of one another. See Galatians 5:26; Philippians 2:1-3; Ephesians 4:31-32; Colossians 3:8-10 3. Enveying one another. See Galatians 5:26; Romans 13:13; 1 Corinthians 3:3; 2 Corinthians 12:20; 1 Timothy 6:4; Titus 3:3; James 3:14-16; 1 Peter 2:1 And I want to share that ultimately the goal of our lives should be exactly to the goal of our King... UNITY! IN FACT I STARTED OUT QUOTING 1 Corinthians 10 and in that same thought pattern in verses 15 - 17 wr find this statement. ... "For we being many are one bread..." Our focus should be His focus. Our lives should be His life. Our desires our dreams our goals our everything should be what His is... ultimately that is oneness. The devil doesn't make God do anything. Doesn't Christ (God) live dwell and instill within you? Isn't Greater IN you? Then how do you comment and say that the weaker outside of you make you do what the GREATER STILL within you doesn't? Identification problem if tou ask me?

Sometimes we rather discuss politics , social trash or gossip about others than dive into the Word of God to seek answers to many of the most important issues in our lives . Even if you acquire all of the wealth on earth or power to rule and dominate the lives of everyone ; how long will it last ? Naked we came into this world and naked we all shall returned to the dust . So what should be foremost in our lives is from whence did we come and where are we going hereafter ? There is no correct place to start our search for answers than with the "WORD OF GOD". If I can remember well during our last conversation I ask for answers to three little significant questions : " ARE THE SCRIPTURES FROM MAN OR GOD AND WHAT ARE THEIR SIGNIFICANCE ? IS THE WORD OF GOD ONE OR MANY ? " As you are aware there is so much division, confusion, messages, claims , counterclaims of who has the truth and what really is the truth.

But the fact is the mysteries of God are only revealed a little at a time and everyday they are fresh and new as the fruits on the trees and their revelation is according to our needs and times; yet they are older than the earth and have been foretold centuries ago. In order to understand a little of these things we must returned to the beginning . The "WORD OF GOD " is the Spirit of God ; the same very Spirit the moved upon the deep. Out of this Spirit proceeded the power which called things into existence . Now that power is known to us as the " Spoken Word " or " Creative Word " but the action of the " Creative Word " ; the Spirit of God limited to the universe and all other forms of life within it . Why didn't He just call us into existence like He did the others ? The simple truth is "The WORD OF GOD " sought companionship with beings who had the ability to relate to Him and share the earth as a meeting place to fellowship and Heaven as a home . But envious Satan felt cheated and formed a plot to destroyed this Holy relationship which he succeeded in implementing thus bringing about the fall of Man ; Now the pure Holy relationship was tainted and stained and it only could be remedy by divine intervention and sacrifice . Open and direct communication was broken and now God could not come bodily again to the fellowship but still loved and cherish His fallen friend . That is where the Written Word came in . Written Scriptures are historical communications passed down to selected and inspired men from God explaining the story of existence , what went wrong and how it can be remedy. There is one God and One "WORD"; Spoken or Written . It is men trying to interpret spiritual matters with earthly logic that have brought about all this division and confusion. Every thing around us testified about the " WORD OF GOD" , all one has to do it to seek guidance for insight. We fallen flesh can never interpret the "WORD OF GOD" or relate to Him properly without divine intervention by God Himself, thus the always open and available services of the HOLY SPIRIT . Our conclusion is the "WORD OF GOD " is GOD ; The " WORD OF GOD" is ONE and if we seek proper understanding of the "WORD OF GOD " we must seek the assistance of the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD ONLY !!!!!!!

"Church is a hospital for sick souls" is a usual quote of most of you Shepherds Yes, so true but does that means the doctors and nurses treating the sick in the Church should also be sick ? Are you living what you preach to others ? Those preaching about adultery, fornication, stealing, lies,lust,

greed or marriage ; is your own life free of those things ? How can you advise someone to go and take a bath ,when you are dirty and smelling ? It is like those pastors who hide a black cross under a pure white vestment . The Bible have a very simple advice about this impersonation of Satan . "Matthew 7:3-5 New International Version (NIV) 3 "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?

4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. ( While it is true that the scripture was mostly about judgement ; it can also be applicable to our implementation of our divine calling (as most claimed) in the vineyard; whether wolves or sheep . If the patients must be whole again ; they must be treated by a wholesome team .

Why would Jesus Christ emphasize on seeking the Kingdom of God and its righteousness ? The reason is simple ; because many are lost seeking or promoting other kingdoms , knowingly or unknowingly. The Bible teaches that there are two spiritual kingdoms operating on planet earth.

The Kingdom of God, and the kingdom of Satan. Acts 1:3, Matthew 12:25-26, Genesis 1:1-3, Ephesians 1:19-21, Ephesians 2:1-3 Both kingdoms have a direct influence on every part of planet earth. Both kingdoms are more powerful than natural man. God's kingdom, however, is totally in authority over Satan's kingdom. Satan has to receive permission from God most of the time for everything he seeks to do within God's Kingdom . Psalms 103:19, Job 1:6-12, Lamentations 3:37 . Many People have forgotten this fact and innocently or intentionally promote the Kingdom of Satan for earthly powers and material gain. Satan is very good at offering glory on earth so tempting that it takes the very brave and strong to resist." 8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me." He show Christ that he has power in the" kingdoms" of the earth; marine kingdom, snake kingdom, animal kingdom, demonic kingdoms that can only provide short term temporary powers for a price of the blood and flesh of your brothers and sisters among other awkward sacrifices. Must of the signs and wonders in the various Churches today are from compromising to the kingdom of darkness. Many of the Satanic do not preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ any more. They do not honor God but through a cunning method misused the Old Testament or a verse of two from Paul's letters and create messages of what I term "distraction". Many times in pretense they promote the kingdom they serve and the blind might think they are exposing darkness . They will describe their kingdom so sweet and powerful and induct many innocents through biblical rituals all carried out in the Name of Jesus . Jesus overcame because He was in control of a divine secret and therefore responded to Satan thus : "

Don't be deceive; not all you see with your eyes is light . There are categories of light and sometimes seemingly appearance " And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light." While he has the power to transform himself as light temporarily, it is a limited falled, crushed light which dies off with time. "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!nce of light. Sometimes what we think we see is just a manifestation of Satan's light, but if we have the power of discernment we can distinguish the difference between that fallen light from light . Thomas was a Disciple of Jesus Christ and had followed Him and heard Him preach ,watch Him perform miracles and and teach. yet during the testing times of life He doubted God (John 20: 24-29). Gideon nearly miss the opportunity to save Israel during a critical movement because He doubted the Messenger of God ; the Angel with the message. Both the Father of Faith ; Father Abraham and his wife Sarah laugh and doubted God promise because of natural causes (AGE) and spent many a sleepless night and mournful days grieving over what seems an impossible problem. Many a Bishop, Pastor, Prophets etc who are encouraging and healing others in the Name of Jesus Christ are usually seen sending their children, wives and even themselves to the hospital for those very same symptoms which they are claiming to heal in others ; interesting , very interesting . They scream down to you about believing but are the greatest unbelieers in the very messages they preach . So , what is unbelief and how does it impact our physical and spiritual lives ? One of the things God hate most is unbelief . It hinders communication between us and God . TODAY WE WILL TAKE A CRITICAL LOOK AT THE LAST OF THE BIG THREE THAT SATAN USE TO HINDER OUR PRAYERS, KILL MANY A GOOD VISION AND MADE MANY LIVING UNDER THE UMBRELLA OF FEAR, FRUSTRATION AND WORRY DAY AND NIGHT IF THE PROMISES OF GOD WILL MATERIALIZE IN THEIR LIVES. WE HAVE LOOKED AT DOUBT, UNBELIEF AND AT LAST WE ARE DEALING WITH "LACK OF FAITH" Do you know the most of what you see ,feel, hear, smell and taste came to being through the spoken WORD of God ? In order for God to speak and things came into existence ? He had to have faith in Himself . any times your declarations , degrees and prayers are not answered because you lack faith in yourself and God . The words that proceed out of your mouth are empty and without soul. There is no other secret to getting Heaven favor and blessings that to believe in a God that you have never seen with your physical eyes. God give every living soul made in His image to have power in the spoken word .

So , what is faith according to the Bible ? Many will miss out from Heaven and be turn back on the Day of the Lord because they preach? taught, healed ,etc in the Name of Jesus Christ but did not have faith in Him. Oh yes , there will be many great surprises in Heaven . Faith is different from knowledge, reason or logic. In Christ own words He caution : " "Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’"(Matthew 7: 21-23) The book of Hebrews made it even clearer : " And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him." (" Faith, contrary to popular opinion, is not "belief without proof.” This is the definition that many skeptics give for faith. This definition reduces faith to mere fideism – i.e., "I believe despite what the evidence tells me.” Skeptics are right to reject this concept of faith, and Christians should reject it too. Faith is not belief without proof, or belief despite the evidence, rather faith is a complete trust or confidence in someone or something. Now faith does not work with man's time. That is one thing most people do not understand about God . They expect Him to work according to their wrist watch ; well let me disappoint you now. God watch , calendar etc are quite unique and different from yours and so are His reasons for delaying some answers ,and acting immediately upon others .

WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT FRIENDSHIP? BY : BISHOP STEVEN LIBERTY SR. FRIENDS ! WHO ARE YOUR FRIENDS ? WHAT EVIDENCE DO YOU HAVE THAT THEY ARE REALLY YOUR FRIENDS ? HAVE YOUR FRIENDSHIP BEEN TESTED THROUGH STORMY AND GOOD WEATHER AND SURVIVE ? WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT FRIENDSHIP ? HOW DO YOU PICK YOUR FRIENDS ? HOW DO YOU TREAT YOUR FRIENDS ? ARE YOU AWARE OF THE IMPORTANCE OF FRIENDSHIP ? Sometimes those we call our friends are really not our real friends and many times those we think are not our friends base on one philosophy or the other are really our true friends .

There are some seemingly friendship that last only during the period of want or need and after the gain ; breaks up gradually . There are many hypocritical friendship with no true foundation . Have you ever thought someone is your friend and you lay your life on the line to save such a person . only to discover that such friendship was based on a selfish foundation ? Have you ever had a friend you trusted betrayed you like Judas ready to sell you to the highest bidder ? Have you ever had a friend who changes before your eyes as fast as the weather when life favors or disfavor them ? Have you regretted ever associating with a friend ? Oh yes these are reality that takes place when we fail to choose our friends wisely. As I always say the Bible has an answer for every situation in life . So over the next few articles we will try to see what the bible says about friendship ? Jesus Christ stated that every friendship should be based on love and the spirit of sacrifice at all times ; good or bad. Failure to laid a foundation on love and readiness to sacrifice for your friends ; such friendship is bound to fail . Many of the friendship that end with regrets or painfully was based upon one selfish reason or the other . " "This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you." (John 15: 12-15) So what does the Bible have to say about choosing our friends ? What guideline or road map should we follow ? Let's examine these few verses and see if we can find some light : 1 Corinthians 15:33 Do not be deceived: "Bad company ruins good morals.� We must examine the lives of our friends carefully or we might be entrapped into doing things we know nothing about .

If my friend is a drug addict ; the closer I go to him , the more likely I might be encouraged to participate in taking drugs . The Bible encourages us to seek friends with knowledge for the fool might just get you drowned in sin . " Proverbs 14:6-7 A scoffer seeks wisdom in vain, but knowledge is easy for a man of understanding. Leave the presence of a fool, for there you do not meet words of knowledge." "Proverbs 13:20 Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm." The Bible also encourages us to seek out the righteous as our friends or the unrighteous might just lead us astray . "Proverbs 13:20 Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm." The Bible also warns us about friends who are quick to get angry ; for many times when people are angry they do not reason well ."Proverbs 22:24-25 Make no friendship with a man given to anger, nor go with a wrathful man, lest you learn his ways and entangle yourself in a snare." BUT WHY DO WE NEED FRIENDS ANYWAY ? WHAT IS THE IMPORTANCE OF FRIENDSHIP ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE ? This is a very critical question that needs to be examine carefully . No man is an Island and as a preacher man usually says ; a tree does not make a forest . However true that statement might be ; only trees of like minded and who can live on a particular type of soil, survive a particular weather, grows in the forest. Not every tree can grow in every forest. But yes ; indeed we need like minded partners to survive on the journey of life. Again the Bible takes up the topic : " Proverbs 11:14 Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety." We all were made in the image of God with different talents for survival . No one person has it all . God made it in such a way that we must be guided by each other at different times . But there are rules for walking with each other .

Let us carefully examine the next four verses and see if we can make some sense about the importance of friendship . " Proverbs 17:17 A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity." "Proverbs 19:20 Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future." "Proverbs 24:5 A wise man is full of strength, and a man of knowledge enhances his might,""Proverbs 27:17 Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another." OH HOW SWEET IT IS TO ALWAYS STUDY THE WORD OF GOD A friend loves,delivers and listen to advice,accept instruction and gain wisdom. A friend strength each other by working together on their weak and strong spots and sharpen each other that no one knows the difference between their days of joy or sorrow .Allow me to end this session with a quotation from C.S. Lewis : "The next best thing to being wise oneself is to live in a circle of those who are.� WHO ARE OUR REAL FRIENDS ? PRAYER : LORD HELP ME TO UNDERSTANDING THE TRUE MEANING OF FRIENDSHIP . HELP ME TO CHOOSE MY FRIENDS WISELY ? HELP ME TO SEEK YOU OUT ABOUT EACH FRIEND I HAVE AND EACH FRIEND I COME ACROSS DAILY . SHOW ME THE WHEAT FROM THE STRAW . AMEN !
