My Dear Christian Brothers and Sisters in Christ; It is again a great joy for us to together discuss, study, inspire ourselves and others as the Holy Spirit; our counselor has directed us. I greet you in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior who has been so good to take our guilt away on a cross; that we may live eternally. As we come together from different nations across the globe as one family to share and partake in the mandate of the great commission of Jesus Christ; I welcome and salute you. It might interest you to know that for some unknown reason the Spirit of God directed both a Prophetess and I as I was praying for a topic for this month to the Topic : Who is your God ? It was amazing a wonderful as I was discussing my intention to use this topic that a message came from the Prophetess to inform me that the Spirit of God impress upon her mind that we should discuss this topic. In this edition several inspired writers will be discussing the topic as the Spirit lead them. Of course along with our regular news from the vineyard about Christians activities ; we will feature other inspired articles , poems, etc.

We are truly bless to receive comments and encouragement from more than seventy four countries ; battle fields, refugee camps, pestilent stricken countries and so many suffering from the consequences of war and or natural disasters . So many people in other religions are using our magazine now as a study guide in the absence of a Bible which is prohibited. That is why we must watch every word we write and pray for guidance. Please do not be offended if your work does not reach our standards and we send it back to you for editing or improving a little. Remember we all want to eat quality ood best for our body and health; so also are those we feed with God word. Are we ignorantly worshipping other gods because of selfish greed of our leaders today? Are those dances , messages and spirits perform every service day of the living God or from some ancient religion that has died from the sight of many but renamed and brought into the Church. Oh Yes, so many shrines are now converted to altars . Do you really know who you worship or do your Church Leaders tell you who to worship.

Again we praise God for this Edition and for all of you who wrote in it, read it and share it. I degree and declare that the God you serve will reveal the Truth about Himself to you and interact with you in ways that will bring joy to our lives, breakthroughs, new directions for our journey of destiny and make us victorious in all we do. "WHO IS YOUR GOD?"

WRITTEN BY PROPHETESS SISTER MARY BOLDEN HEAR, O ISRAEL; THE LORD OUR GOD IS A MERCIFUL GOD; HE WILL NOT ABANDON OR DESTROY YOU OR FORGET THE COVENANT WITH YOUR FOREFATHERS; WHICH HE CONFIRMED TO THEM BY OATH. (Deuteronomy 6:4-5 NIV) ISRAEL (JEWS) ARE STILL THE CHOSEN PEOPLE OF GODThroughout the Bible, though they were chosen, they went astray and then had to pay the consequences by remaining in the wilderness for 40 years. But, God sent HIS chosen vessel, Moses, to tell Pharoah to "LET MY PEOPLE GO SO THAT THEY MIGHT WORSHIP ME!"(Exodus 9:1) Though war after war has gone on with the Israelites and others who want to kill and destroy them, God still shows forth HIS mercy on them. True, in war times, many shall die, but they will have all had time enough to repent and give themselves to accepting the Lord Jesus as their Savior. Not a one will take his/her last breath without somehow having that moment to ask for forgiveness and accepted Jesus.

Page | 11

Look at the thief on the cross. He said, "Lord, remember me when you come into your kingdom" (Luke 23:42) God is truly merciful, even in the midst of adversity, folks. No matter what cruel and harsh wars are going on in the world today, or in past times, God still shows up and manifests HIS mercy. Even if there are lots of people killed, they (if they know Jesus) will end up in a better place. Our job as HIS chosen vessels (Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, Evangelists, and Teachers) and even you , who are lay witnesses, is to teach/preach/ witness the truly unadulterated gospel of Jesus Christ to as many souls as we can because God will hold us responsible for not sharing HIS truth to them that they may be saved. And then, when they stand before judgement, there shall be no excuse they can tell of ignorance as to who Jesus is and how they could've been saved, but refused to listen And those who did listen and accepted Jesus will be glorified and given the crown of righteousness. H A L L E L U J A H GOD IS NOT A MAN, THAT HE SHOULD LIE, NOR A SON OF MAN, THAT HE SHOULD CHANGE HIS MIND. DOES HE SPEAK AND THEN NOT ACT DOES HE PROMISE AND NOT FULFILL (Numbers 23:19) Who is your God Are you putting too much trust in man Are you trusting only in man because he is your earthly boss, even when you may know he is corrupt

Page | 12

Are you, wives, going along with a man you married, but soon find him to be a liar, an alcoholic, a drug user and physical abuser Do you just go along with him out of fear for your life Or will you finally allow yourself to be delivered by taking a stand and getting the help from someone (an angel) that the Lord God sends your way to help you get into a safe place of refuge. Anything or anyone you put before God as if they were your god, is an idol And He says in HIS word, "Thou shall have no other gods before me " He is El Shaddai<Almighty God All powerful God And He sits high and looks down low to behold the evil and the holy in every place. He's SOVEREIGN GOD HE rules and reigns in the universe. After all, He is the CREATOR of alll things in the universe; in the heavens, on the earth, and in the sea and under the earth Nothing was created accept HE created it. Man was created last because I believe He wanted him not to take any credit for anything that God Almighty created Man would've lied and said, I flung the stars in the sky. I created the moon and the sun. I did this and I did that. But, God said, I am the Lord , thy God, besides me, there is no other FOR THE LORD YOUR GOD IS GOD OF gods AND LORD of lords, THE GREAT GOD, MIGHTY AND AWESOME, WHO SHOWS NO PARTIALITY AND ACCEPTS NO BRIBES (Deut. 10:17 NIV)

Page | 13

People of the MOST HIGH GOD, you need to get to know who it is that you are calling your God That is, personally Don't just say I believe there is a God somewhere. Don't just go along with who your mother or father says is God, if you don't accept HIM as your LOrd and Savior and strive to develop a personal relationship with HIM for yourself, you won't have the joy of the Lord to give you strength nor the peace of God that surpasses alll understanding. You will never know Agape' love , which is unconditional love and is everlasting You must get to know HIM for yourself and not just go along with another's testimony. YOu will be tested of your faith and it is to develop your own testimony and to build your faith in God He's the one and only true and living God His name is Jehovah Yaweh Lord El Elyon and a host of other names He is called that describe HIS character. You can learn that about HIM and come to really know HIM for yourself without going along with every wind of doctrine that comes along. NO excuses "IF YOU RETURN TO THE LORD , THEN YOUR BROTHERS AND YOUR CHILDREN WILL BE SHOWN COMPASSION BY THEIR CAPTORS AND WILL COME BACK TO THIS LAND, FOR THE LORD YOUR GOD IS GRACIOUS AND COMPASSIONATE. HE WILL NOT TURN HIS FACE IF YOU RETURN TO HIM. " (11 Chronicles 30:9 NIV)

Page | 14

Page | 15

God is saying, the people of God who have rebelled, turned and walked away from the teachings of Jesus and are not willing to live the life that some have even preached and taught others, it's time to REPENT and come back to what you know you have been taught and start living the life that you know is of the righteousness of God For our righeousness (in the flesh) is as "filthy rags" the bible says. So, we must do it God's way, not our own way. Do what is pleasing in HIS sight and willingly so that HIs name is glorified IF MY PEOPLE WHO ARE CALLED BY MY NAME, WOULD HUMBLE THEMSELVES AND PRAY; AND SEEK MY FACE, AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS; THEN, WILL I HEAR FROM HEAVEN AND I'LL FORGIVE THEIR SINS AND I'LL HEAL THE LAND. (11 Chron. 7:14) The answer is right there in this passage, folks. There is no reason nor excuse to hide behind. God has spoken in HIS word in more than one place just what He expects us to do. He knew that we would fall into sin. We were born into it But, that does not give us an excuse that we cannot be delivered and set free from captivity. That's why He sent Jesus to take our sins on the cross with HIM and die for our right and priviledge to LIVE LIFE MORE ABUNDANTLY HALLELUJAH PRAISE JESUS FOR THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH, BUT THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD (Romans 6:23)

Don't let Jesus ' coming and suffering 39 stripes ; be wounded for our transgressions; bruised for our iniquities, be in vain YOu don't have to worry about death if you have accepted the lord Jesus as your Savior and allowed HIM to be the Lord of your life. By HIS stripes , we are healed if we would just believe, trust in HIS word, hope in HIS promises. For HIS promises are yeah and amen. He cannot lie, for HE is the WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE. NO MAN CAN COME UNTO THE FATHER, ACEPT THEY COME THROUGH JESUS WHO IS YOUR GOD Buddah is an idol and cannot save you Allah, is not the true and living God If you worship him, you will surely die and go to HELL THERE IS NO OTHER GOD, BUT JESUS HE'S THE ONLY ONE ACCEPT HIM AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR AND YOU SHALL HAVE ETERNAL LIFE ALLLL GLORY AND HONOR BELONGS TO HIM. HE IS THE KING of kings and the LORD of lords JESUS IS THE ONLY SAVIOR OF THE WORLD REPENT AND BE BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, SON, AND THE HOLY GHOST. THEY ARE THE "TRINITY" IN PERSONALITY, BUT ALL EQUAL ONE GOD

MAY THE LORD GOD SAVE, DELIVER, AND SET THE CAPTIVE SOULS FREE THROUGH THIS READING OF THE TRUTH FROM THE WORD OF GOD IN JESUS' MIGHTY NAME I PRAY.

ATTEMPT TO SILENCE THE BODY OF CHRIST IN SOUTH AFRICA: BY PEARL KUPE

Part 1-Hate Crimes Legislation Introduction The nation of South Africa , has, over the past decade, been passing a string of laws and developing policies that are slowly but surely impacting negatively the family unit and also on our religious freedoms as Christians and as followers of Christ. Those laws and policies include, but are not limited to:

Page | 17

-legalization of abortion -banning of spanking by parents -allowing pornography -legalization of same sex marriage Currently, our government in South Africa is considering legalizing prostitution. This is a move that will not only have dire consequences for families, but will result in the escalation and rise of sex trafficking cases in South Africa and the region at large. There is considerable evidence to show that sex trafficking and legalized prostitution go hand in hand and this is the reason many nations, such as Sweden, Iceland and Norway have all reversed their previous decisions to legalize prostitution and witnessed the number of their sex trafficking drop drastically Hate Crime legislation Many countries who follow this route of passing the kind of laws referred to above, soon find themselves on the road to passing a law that is known as the “Hate Crimes law. It starts off as a Bill and is then passed into law.

Page | 18

In some nations such as the USA, this law was brought in “supposedly” to protect vulnerable groups from assault and intimidation but is now being used to silence the Church and the Body of Christ from preaching and practicing their faith. The current South African law is sufficient to protect anyone against assault or intimidation. As a lawyer as well as a Minister of the Gospel and servant of God, I can safely advise that the current laws that are in place in our nation are more than adequate to handle any case or cases of assault or intimidation against any individual or group of persons! The “Hate crimes” legislation therefore is not needed to protect any “so-called” vulnerable person from being assaulted, threatened or intimidated. It's true purpose is to ensure that the Church and Body of Christ is effectively silenced and prevented from preaching the word of God and expressing their faith Religious Freedom must also be protected Christians have a right to their beliefs and a right to preach the gospel. The Word of God which we base our faith on is based on love NOT HATE! John 3:16 tells us that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son so that none should perish but have ever lasting life. That is the basis from which we operate on as Believers and Followers of Christ.

Page | 19

Whatever word is contained in the Bible is there to ensure that we all live godly lives and to ensure that none should perish or live a life that is below Gods standard for them. Preaching the Word of God, can never be seen as HATE; It is based on a book motivated by the Love of God. Warning to the Body of Christ! If the Hate Crimes Bill or legislation is passed in South Africa, it will lay a basis for any believer who preaches against certain lifestyles in line with the word of God, to be arrested and or sent to prison. As Believers and followers of Christ, our position is that we do NOT advocate for HATE against any person. Our faith is based on love, a love which our God shows us daily. We do not promote or support any act of violence or intimidation against any person, but we also OBJECT to having our beliefs labeled as being HATE. The word of God is to us, TRUTH and based on love and we have a constitutional right based on religious freedom to preach the fullness of it in LOVE and without fear of being imprisoned or punished. To punish us for preaching the word of God will be hypocritical and can in the same vein be labeled as a HATE CRIME against Believers and Followers of Christ!

Page | 20

To illustrate the seriousness of this, is the case of the Joshua Generation Church. This Church was reported last year to the SA Human Rights Commission for indicating their support of Proverbs 13:24 which supports spanking and corporate punishment that is given by parents in love, and for the purpose of corrective discipline. The laws that are now being put in place will ensure that Christians no longer have an avenue to express their beliefs nor do they have a say in the way they raise their children. To show the seriousness of this, I recently I had to intervene in a case where a pastor was being taken to the police station and taken to court after being falsely accused by his son of abuse. Proverbs 14:34-Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people I pray that we, as Preachers and Ministers will be allowed the freedom to preach what the Word of God says and that this will not be curtailed in any manner whatsoever! I pray also that the Body of Christ will be energized to take a stand against any attempt to curtail this freedom. The 2012 statistics show that South Africa is 81% Christian. I have hope that this majority of people will not back down from exercising their democratic right to practise their faith in full.

Page | 21

This is a call for every Believer to unite against any attempt to silence the Body of Christ and to curtail our constitutionally enshrined and protected right to religious freedom and freedom of expression. If the rights of pornographers can be protected as a right of “freedom of expression, surely preachers and Ministers of the gospel must be afforded the same freedom! In part two of this article, I will b discussing the case in which an organization has brought a court case against all Christian schools and is moving for Christians schools to be shut down and stop all forms of Christian practices in schools. Blessings, Pearl Kupe, Founding President & COO, Hebrew Midwives Ministry

Who is your God? BY ANGEL FULKERSON I recently shared with a group of women about the difference between hearing and listening… difference?? You ask??? Yes, there is a difference… to hear is allowing sound (of words) to go into the ear but to listen includes acting on what you hear. I remember as a child mom telling me to do something and I heard her but for some reason did not do what she told me to do… her response “What is your problem. I tell you and tell you and you let it go in one ear and out the other… there must not be anything in that head of yours!” UGH! I hated when she said that! Well, now as an adult I know what she was saying and cannot imagine God’s frustration with us… His wanting wonderful things for us; but we often just hear Him and do not listen. In James, we are told that we are to be doers of the Word and not hearers only… whoa! Doers are listeners.

What does this have to do with the title of this message? Well, if we truly have eyes to see and ears to hear, the kind of eyes and ears God wants us to have—then we will learn to observe in ourselves and others if a person is a hearer or listener… where they are in their walk with God… hmmm, where we are in our walk with God… You see, we all hear and we all develop listening… I believe that quite often we do not even realize that we serve many gods all the while I AM, the ONE TRUE GOD bids us come to Him… after all, HE saw a problem in our coming to Him so He made a way for us thru His Only Son Jesus… yet even with this free way to come, we hinder ourselves because of the little gods, the little beliefs we have that separate us from Him… and worse, we let our little beliefs hinder others from going to Him… our little beliefs are unbelief’s in God and His Word, sometimes knowing beliefs that we just do not want to let go of and sometimes unknowing beliefs from a lack of knowing God’s Word… these little beliefs are gods in our lives, things that we allow to be exalted above GOD….

Page | 24

Now, remember I am telling you this with a hearing vs. listening mentality… a mentality that as we get to know God and His Word, we will do it and not just read or hear about it… and this is a growing action in our lives and in our relationship with God because the more we read, meditate, pray about and share His Word… the more real it becomes to us, for us and for others… Little gods in our life reveal themselves thru sin consciousness… sin in our life and sin we try to point out in others.

Let’s imagine that we are prayerful dutifully, and we study the Bible daily, and we share scripture often then we see a brother or sister who claims the same committing a sin in public, maybe cussing… they are angry… so we point out the sin… tell a friend about the sin… judge the sin almost as though it is unforgivable for a Christian…

Page | 25

we just made judgment our god, we set ourselves apart from the body of Christ as judge and jury over that person making our self a god… we have forgotten that we are to judge not lest we be judged… that we are not to try to pull a toothpick out of someone elses eyes all the while a plank is in our eye… we have gossiped… we have badmouthed a brother/sister… we have not come alongside bearing one another’s burden… can you see where I am going… we have exalted ourselves above God, in the name of God… Who is your god, YOU or HIM, GOD I AM? Needs come in a variety of ways and we struggle with wanting provision immediately for that need… sickness can be a god… we can make a doctor a god, becoming so dependent on them… medications can be a god as we become dependent on using them to make us comfortable… diets can become a god… just healing can be a god in our live when we place more importance on receiving the thing we need over the Giver of meeting that need…

Page | 26

Provision is needed… we go to God in prayer making petition for the need to be met… and then we watch and watch and wonder when that provision will be made… surely God would not make us wait forever for that provision… we begin imagining how the provision will be made… and when we do not see evidence, we begin asking for people to provide… we make people and the provision, a god in our lives because we exalt the meeting of that need above the ONE Who Provides… Who is your god, it, them, or HIM, GOD I AM? Our God, I AM, is Qanna… He is a Jealous God! He loves us!! He wants the best for us!!! And He sees why we miss out on His best… He sees when we make gods of things and people around us rather than allowing Him to be our God. When we make little gods of people and things we miss out on the bounty God has for us… but when we make God our GOD… His bounty flows in our lives and we are satisfied. God does not want us to go without, or to suffer or to wish we had what others have… He wants us to seek the giver HIM, not the gift… Even as Christians we can struggle with the fine line of seeking the giver vs. the gift… it’s like the fine line between being a hearer and a listener. What about idolatry? Kyle Idleman shared in his book “gods at war” about the Ten Commandments… we all break these commandments… ugh!

Page | 27

I highly recommend this book! There are many gods fighting for our attention and we allow them a place on the thrones of our lives… UGH! Listen to what I am saying… we allow them to be gods in our lives over God, the ONE TRUE GOD, I AM. It’s an invitation moment by moment to choose GOD or choose god to sit on the throne of our thoughts, desires, actions, thoughts… yes, we choose. Little gods of food, drink, things, entertainment… wait… do we realize that we sometimes entertain our minds with commentaries, Christian books, bible teachers and more, making gods of these things over the actual Word of God… we sometimes make the doing of Christian action a god over the very God, I AM, we are to be in relationship with… we can so easily serve the god of Christian Service while GOD, I AM, waits for us to draw near to Him. There are many little gods vying for our attention… god of sex… god of money… oh, its okay to have money but it’s the love of money and the love of what we can do with that money and wait! The love of what others see us doing… ummmmmm… the love of what others see us doing with that money… the love of what others say to and about us because they see what we do with that money… Who is your god, it, them, that feeling or HIM, GOD I AM?

Page | 28

There are so many gods that we serve knowingly and unknowingly… the god of status… the god of title… the god of lack… the god of bossiness… the god of sloth, oh this is one! Indifference!!! Where we have come so accustomed to our spirituality that we become lazy, stale… where we stay in a place at church without growth… making God’s church and our relationship with Him the leftovers in our lives, sometimes letting them grow into something no one wants to partake of… as a matter of fact, we forget about the need there while we go about the worldly things that bring us pleasure—more little gods… we lose focus of GOD, I AM so we fall away from His purpose… our callings, gifts and talents go unused which cause the same of others to go unused, untapped. The glory due to the ONE TRUE GOD is buried under this spiritual laziness. It promotes self glory in those who try to rise up doing it all to make up for those not doing what they are supposed to be doing… and this god of Sloth is revealed in leaders who say no all of the time to those who desire to do the thing God calls them to… oh my! This leads to the god of ME… my will over God’s… my word over God’s Word… me me, me!!! Who is your god, it, them, me or HIM, GOD I AM? GOD, I AM, loves you so much that He made a way for YOU to come to Him through Jesus… all you and I have to do is believe…

Page | 29

His grace is sufficient for me and for you… but we have to reach out and receive… would you choose HIM today as your GOD… let loose of some of those little gods so that you can draw closer to I AM… don’t just hear, but listen… God bids you come, draw near to Him…

God’s Laws or Man’s? By Joel McNabb

Since the beginning of the creation, the great Creator has laid down the law. From time to time, He has given commandments unto man, who almost always found them hard to keep. We often think of the law as “thou shalt not,” which in some cases is true, but sometimes it is “thou shalt.” Like the law of gravity, “what goes up must come down”; so there are laws of God that show how He operates. In different ages, He laid out these laws to perform a work in His plan for mankind and His purpose on this earth. I would like to take a look at these different ages and bring us to our age and the law to come. In the book of Genesis, we find the first age of God’s commandments to man. He told Adam and Eve, “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”

He gave man the responsibility to rule over the earth and to be the caretaker of all the creatures. There is also the matter of replenishing the earth, (which in itself is somewhat a strange commandment, if the earth had never been inhabited before). God also gave them a thou shalt not: “But of the tree of the know- ledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” This commandment is the one that got Adam, Eve and all mankind into trouble. It should have been an easy law to keep, only one tree of knowledge, and you could eat all you wanted of the rest of the trees in the garden. However, it was like telling your child not to touch the electrical outlet, and he can’t keep their hands off it, not really knowing the consequences of disobedience to what seems to be a small commandment. When he ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, Adam was fully aware that he was willingly breaking God’s commandment. “And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression” (1 Tim. 2:14). This fall brought death to mankind, and death reigned until an age when God would show man how he could get life back. During this age there was no law enforcement, and the wickedness of man became so great that it made God sad that He had ever created man.

Page | 32

His plan for man’s redemption was set in motion. The great wickedness of man caused God to take severe action. He was going to destroy His creation and start all over, and He looked the whole earth over and searched for someone with whom He could start over. The Bible says that Noah, a just man and perfect in his generation, found grace in the eyes of the Lord, and Noah walked with God. God spared Noah and his family by sending the flood and destroying the wickedness from off the face of the earth. “When once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water” (1 Pet. 3:20). They weren’t just saved from the flood of water, they were saved from a world that was not able to change. After the flood, with a new earth and someone to give the dominion to, it was time to start over with new laws and a new age. As Noah and his family disembarked from the ark, another age dawned. God gave commandments once again, and said unto them: “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth,” the same command as He had given Adam and Eve. They were to fill the earth with mankind again.

Page | 33

He also gave them dietary laws. Instead of just a vegetarian diet, He said that “every moving creature that liveth shall be meat for you” (Gen. 9:3). There was no suggestion that they should only eat clean animals, but everything that liveth, even as the green herb. All animals (clean and un- clean, insects, serpents, and slugs) were given for nutriments for the human body. This led God to give a “thou shall not:” “But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.” Eating blood was not allowed, because it contained the life of the body, and life is a gift of God. He has given every creature a spirit, which allows it to live. “Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?” One more law was given to man after the flood, “Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made He man” (Gen. 9:6). Man was to kill the murderer, though this commandment was not given to Adam, as we see in the case of Cain. By letting the murderer go free we saw how bad the earth can become. If we are made in the image of God, murder is like killing God Himself.

Page | 34

It led to man’s great wickedness, which caused God to bring in the flood. Death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression. Our destiny is set from the time we are born, we live our lives and then we die, without hope. Adam’s decision affected all mankind and left us with death as our future. After the flood, man did not change though God had started all over again. And man, with inbred sin, resumed his course of self destruction. Is there a way to obtain life again? Yes there is! We are still following the plan of the Creator, and His purpose for man on earth. Out of Noah’s three sons, He chose the lineage of Shem. Abram, the tenth generation from Shem was chosen by God to raise up a people to whom He would give His laws of life; for Abram would be faithful to pass on his faith from generation to generation. In Abram’s generation, mankind had become idolatrous, and the only way God could make a transition to life for man was to get Abram out of his country and kindred. So Abram, by the command of God, left with the covenant of promise, and became a pilgrim. God knew that he would command his children and his household after him, that they should keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment, so that the LORD would bring His promise upon Abraham. To his seed, God would give the laws of life, which is our schoolmaster to lead us to Christ.

Page | 35

God told Abraham that it would take over four hundred years before His promises would come to pass (Gen. 15:13-16; Ex. 12:40-41). He brought them to Himself to Mt. Sinai, to give them His laws of life. By the law that was given to Moses, God taught His chosen people the ways of life. Moses said in Deut. 30:15, “See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil.” The time for God’s words to be revealed was at hand, as Jesus said, “the words I speak unto you they are spirit and they are life.” Before Moses, God’s word was not written down, although God did speak to man from time to time. Now they had God’s words where they could see them and be reminded of them. The Mosaic laws are just another step in man’s search for life. You may have heard of Ponce de Leon, who looked for the fountain of youth, some way to find eternal life. God gave the laws to teach us the way. “The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul, and in keeping of them there is great re- ward.”

Page | 36

The children of Israel could have been lead to life, if they had kept the laws of God. From the time the law was given and even to our present day, the law has not been kept by man. Paul even said, “neither we nor our fathers could keep” the law, even though, when it came to the law, he said he was blameless. If Israel could not keep Gods law, why was it important for Him to give it to them? It was to show man what sin is. “What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead. For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death. For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me. Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold un- der sin” (Rom. 7:7-14). The law was to bring us to Christ, the one true way to life.

Page | 37

The gospel of John tells us that the law came by Moses, but grace and truth by Jesus Christ. There was another age of law needed to show a more perfect way to life. God sent His only begotten Son as He sent Moses, to give us the new law of grace. In Matt. 5-7, Jesus, as Moses, went up on a mountain and gave to His disciples this law. It is called by many the Sermon on the Mount, but if we read passage correctly, Jesus actually got away from the crowd and only His disciples were with Him when the sermon – or law – was given. “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil” (Matt. 5:1718). Jesus did not throw away any of the commandments of God, He made them even stronger. The words of Jesus were given with the intent that we might come to a closer relationship with the God of creation, who, from age to age, desired to bring man nearer to the place for which he was created.

Page | 38

Jesus said, “If you love me keep my commandment,” “for my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Being set free from the death sentence of Adam, the way of holiness is accessible to those who choose to keep His law. His grace is sufficient for all who accept that blood of Jesus. He went to Mount Calvary, and His laws were set in something stronger than stone, writ- ten with His blood on our hearts. Now as we come to the end of the grace age, a new age is approaching. The culmination of all the laws, which were given by God from Adam to Jesus, will be put into action: The age of Judgment in which Jesus will have all power and authority to meet out true justice. He must reign, till he hath put all enemies under His feet. One of these laws is revealed in, Zech. 14:16. “And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.” If they will not keep this commandment, the rains will stop and famine will come upon their land until they submit to the commandments of the Lawgiver. The new age of God’s law is upon man, who has had two thou- sand years of the grace age, yet has not changed. All around us today, the wickedness of man has only worsened.

Page | 39

Our time is up, and it is God’s time now. Jesus said in Revelation 22:10-14, “Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my re- ward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.” We are dealing with the laws of life, and in Him we live, move and have our being. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John3:16). We still have a choice today, but time is running out. What will you choose, life or death? “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD” (Joshua 24:15).

Page | 40

It is a choice for each one of us, to choose the life of God’s Laws or, the death of unrighteous Laws of man. Who do you server God or Man, you will serve one or the other, as Jesus spoke, “No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other” (Lu 16:13) I pray you will choose the Laws of life. .

Who Is My God: BY BABSIE HANNAH VAN DER BERG 1.His Being In His being God is self-existing. While His creation is depending on Him, he is utterly independent of the creation. He not only has life, but He is life to His universe, and has the source of that life within Himself. 2. His Nature: In His Nature God is pure spirit, which means intelligent energy. Jn 4:24 "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. In this respect we must distinguish between God and those of His creatures that are spiritual. When we say that God is pure Spirit, it is to emphasize that He is not part spirit and part body as man is. He is simple spirit without form or parts, and for that reason He has no physical presence 3. His Character: God is personal. When we say this we assert that God is rational, self-conscious and selfdetermining, an intelligent moral agent. Since God's rational creatures possess independent characters, God must be in possession of a character that is devine in both its transcendence and immanence.

If there is one attribute of God that can be recognize as allcomprehensive and all-pervading, it is His Holiness, which must be predicated of all his attributes, holy love, holy compassion, holy wisdom, etc 4. His Will: God is sovereign. That means He makes His own plans and carries them out in His own time and way. His sovereignty in willing and working is simply an expression of His supreme intelligence, power and wisdom. God's will is not arbitrary, but acts in complete harmony with His character. It is the forth-putting of His power and goodness, and is thus the final determinant of all existence for the divine glory.

Page | 43

5. His essential life: In His essential life God is a fellowship. The supreme revelation of God given in the Scriptures is that God's life is eternally within Himself a loving fellowship of three equal and distinct persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and that in His relationship to His moral creatures God is extending to them the fellowship that is essentially His own. This truth might perhaps be read into the dictum that express God's deliberate will to create man. (1 joh 1:3-2:2; 3:24-4:6) God is love (1 Joh 4:8-10,16) 6 His Fatherhood: The personal God can enter into personal relationships, and the closest and tenderest that the Bible knows is that of Father. This was Christ's most common designation for the One to whom He prayed and of whom He taught, and in theology the Name of Father is reserve specially for the first Person of the Trinity. There are four types of relationship in which the word "Father" is applied to God in Scripture.

Page | 44

1. Creational Fatherhood Heb 12:9; 16:22. Without the Creator-Father there would be no human race, no family of mankind at all. 2. Theocratic Fatherhood. This is God's relationship to His covenant-people, Israel. (2x 4:22-23) (Mal 1:6i2:10; Is 64:8) 3. Generative Fatherhood .This belongs exclusively to the Second Person of the Trinity; designated the Son of God, and the only begotten Son. It is, therefore, unique, and not to be applied to any mere creature. My Father and your Father(Jon 20:17), but the two are so link together that the One becomes the ground of the other. His Sonship, though on a level altogether unique, was the basis of their sonship, by virtue of the faith-communion and Holy Spirit-union that bound them to Him. 4. Adoptive Fatherhood .This is the redeeming relationship that belongs to all believers, and in the context of redemption it is viewed from two aspects, that of their standing in Christ, and that of the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit in them. (Gal 3:26) (Jon1:12,13) (Rom 8:17) (Rom 8:17)

WHO IS YOUR GOD? BY DAISY JACKSON In the beginning GOD… He always was, and He always will be! From everlasting to everlasting [there is no end to Him and no one can determine when and where He began]. He is the true and living GOD. Psalm 24:1 makes it plain and simple: The earth belongs to God, every nation, everything contained in it. Colossians 1:17 tells us, He is before all things, and in Him, all things exist. He made all things! EVERYTHING! God, the Creator, the Supreme One who is everywhere all at once, in whom no failure can be attributed. And if He ever failed at anything, how would we ever know? So, I’m just asking, WHO IS YOUR GOD? Who do you go to when you don’t know which way to turn? Is there any reason to go to anyone but God? Look at it like this. When your back is against the wall, whom will you call out to? If you are sick in your body, perhaps you will call a friend, a man or woman of God to come and pray for you.

That’s good because it’s biblical. If you are driving down the highway and you suddenly see another vehicle coming straight at you, and you can’t move out of the way, what would you do? You’re going to call out to God in some way, “OH My God” or “God Help Me!” It comes as natural as breathing. Even those who curse and take the name of God in vain are known to shout, “God help me” when they are desperate. It’s in that moment of uncertainty; a person instantly knows they can’t save themselves. In that moment of terror, they remember AL MIGHTY GOD. Suddenly, He becomes their best option! Why do we put God off and push Him away when He wants so much to have a relationship with us? Not too many people are without a cell phone these days. We don’t make a move without them. If it bings, we jump. I saw a TV program coming on showing a man trying to make love to his car. I thought, “how silly” as I reached to change the channel. People make other people their sole reason for living. If they can’t have that person, they would rather die. And some actually take their lives because another human being didn’t want them. <p>Can you understand that the person who loves you the absolute best, can’t love you like God does? HIS LOVE IS INCOMPARABLE!</p>

Page | 47

Listen, take some time and evaluate your choices. GOD SHOULD BE YOUR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY! Nothing OR person should have that honor!

Girding The Loins Of Your Mind: BY DELIA ANN THUMBADOO When I think of Apostle Peter, I first imagine him as a fisherman, an ordinary rugged boorish man who typically exemplified and exhibited all the 'charms' of a man of the sea.

But Jesus saw more than what Peter's trade or temperament displayed, Jesus had a way of harnessing and harvesting the unlikely, the least likely candidates and Peter was no exception. When a bad day at the office turned into the biggest miracle catch of fish Peter had seen, he was the one who immediately credited and recognized the miracle maker. "Go away from me Lord for I am a sinful man", he implored. Grace revealed, Jesus revealed in a twinkling of an eye. Peter traded in his craftsmanship for discipleship so swiftly and purposefully that not even his heavily laden sinking boats of fish could tempt or cast a shadow of doubt over his actions.

Peter's feisty fearless ways saw him slice off a Roman soldier's ear when they had come to arrest Jesus; we witnessed his cowardice, his denial of ever knowing Jesus when he was singled out as one of the inner circle after Jesus' capture. But none of these shenanigans could detract from the transformed man he became when he encountered Jesus. Transformation is a process; piece-bypiece, chapter-by-chapter, day-by-day God's Grace is freely given in doses that sufficiently cover our misdemeanors, our errors, and the sinful inclinations of our human nature. "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me." 2 Corinthians 12:9.

Fast forward to 1 Peter 1, "This letter is from Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ. I am writing to God's chosen people who are living as foreigners in the provinces of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia." These were Provinces of the Roman Empire, in what is now Turkey. The objective of the letter was to encourage these foreigners suffering persecution for their faith. Peter acquainted with and having 'earned his stripes' by close association with Jesus, has come to feel the pain and suffering of his fellow Christians. His life's purpose comes through so evidently in each verse of his letter. What a testimony of a transformed life and what a challenge for us especially at a time where our very brethren face the most heinous persecution for their faith, to witness their resolute resolve that not even the threat to mercilessly slay their children in exchange for renouncing the Gospel of Jesus Christ will move them, surely must provoke us to evaluate our commitment.

When Peter chose to accept Jesus' offer to become a fisher of men, he knew this was different, difficult terrain. But when we accept the challenge, no longer do we operate within our capacities and capabilities - God empowers us and equips us, He makes us eloquent and influential, favoured and pertinent when the occasion necessitates it. His Holy Spirit is the teacher who teaches us all things and lavishes a wisdom that far supersedes that of this world.

Peter admonishes, "Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the Grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ" 1 Peter 1:13. Peter was well qualified to make such a revolutionary statement, for true transformation can only come from a renewing, a changing of the way we think! Our thinking is swayed and altered by our spheres of influence. Only a renewed mind in Christ enables us to escape the constricting confines of conforming to the things of this world. 'Girding the loins of our minds' is likened to the flowing long garments worn in the day that restricted movement, hence the call to take hold of, firmly fasten and remove anything that will cause stumbling and falling. Be sober and hope to the end! Keep pressing on keep persevering for when God's Grace is brought unto you, the revelation of Jesus Christ becomes apparent, becomes real, and becomes unveiled.

"And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Matthew 16:18 these were Jesus' words spoken over Peter, and so it was and continues to be fulfilled. One transformed life for Jesus forever impacting forever changing and forever influencing. Planet shakers do not conform; they reform through the renewing of their minds in Christ Jesus.

BIBLICAL GIVING FOR COVENANT BLESSINGS Part 2

Pastor Wole Gbogboade

Text: Ezra 3:7-13 (NIV)

Here we see a vivid example of where the people of God gave willingly their money; they also work with their hands according to talents or physical ability; they watched over the work; they brought food and drinks and they all sang praises to God and danced in thanksgiving. Some shouted for joy while others wept for the same purpose simultaneously. As we follow kingdom principles, blessings manifest in our lives because God is true to His word. When Ezra and the people built and consecrate themselves, revival burst loose in their midst and God blessed His people. A similar thing happened when Hezekiah carried out reform in Israel which included the peoples’ lives and the Church.

Page | 54

They gave willingly in obedience as they purged themselves. God released His blessings upon the people. 2 Chro. 31:9-10 (NIV) Of course, this happened after they were sent into slavery in Babylon because of their disobedience to the word of God. Thank God they chose to walk in kingdom principles that attract God’s blessings. DIMENSIONS OF GIVING Since we must give whatever God has given us as seeds into the lives of others as well as nations to expand God’s kingdom on earth, we know that it is not only money. 1Talents: Our God given talents must be used to bless others through training. 2- Skill: Every skill we acquire should be used to build God’s kingdom and His people. God gave Bezaleel a special talent/skill for the purpose of building the Tabernacle in the wilderness. Christians need other Believers who are skill to train or disciple them in these skills in righteousness unlike the unbelievers who pass on their skill with their bad and sinful habits.

Page | 55

3- Money: Our substance or money is also a necessity for building both the house of God and the work of ministry which kingdom building. 4- Spiritual gifts: “The evidence of the Spirit's presence is given to each person for the common good of everyone.” 1Cor. 12:7 (GW) Every gift the Holy Spirit gives is for the benefit of others not just for our own. Gifts such as healing, faith, prophecy, working of miracle, tongues, discernment, administration, help etc should be used to edify, heal and encourage and boost the faith of others in God. The five-fold ministry gift is to equip the saints to grow to maturity and to serve in the Church. “So we are to use our different gifts in accordance with the grace that God has given us. If our gift is to speak God's message, we should do it according to the faith that we have; if it is to serve, we should serve; if it is to teach, we should teach; if it is to encourage others, we should do so. Whoever shares with others should do it generously; whoever has authority should work hard; whoever shows kindness to others should do it cheerfully.” Rom. 12:6-8 (GNB) 5- Time: Invest your time not just on ourselves alone but on others.

Page | 56

Page | 57

6- Pray: Pray for others not just yourself. 1Tim. 2:1-4

7- Fruit: The fruit of the Spirit we are graced to develop should be model as we disciple others so they can also form godly character.

8- Serve: We don’t only serve God with our money or material possessions; we should also serve Him physically in the House of God and outside. We should live a life that will glorify God. 1Peter 2:12 (NIV) However, we should avoid sowing to the flesh because harvest is determined by the seed sown: “Because he who puts in the seed of the flesh will of the flesh get the reward of death; but he who puts in the seed of the Spirit will of the Spirit get the reward of eternal life.” Gal. 6:8 (BBE)

FLESH: Sow to the flesh reap death. Gal. 6:7-8

Sow laziness reap poverty. Prov. 6:10-11 (KJV) Sow bad thought reap bad habit. Matt. 15:19-20 Sow wind reap wild wind. Hosea 8:7 Sow action reap reaction. Prov. 22:8 Sow bad reap evil. Prov. 17:13. Job 4:8. Fruit of the flesh are found in Gal. 5:19-21

SPIRIT: Sow good seed reap good harvest. Acts 10:38 Sow to the Spirit reap eternal life. Gal. 6:7-8 Sow in tears reap in joy. Psalm 126:5-6 Sow good thought reap good habit. Matt. 15:19-20 Sow hard work reap upliftment. Prov. 22:29 Fruit of the Spirit are also found in Gal. 5:22-23

HINDRANCE TO GIVING:

1When we have little. We are not to look at what we have instead; we are to have faith in God who commands us to give. God said tithe belongs to Him. We must give it accordingly no matter the magnitude of our need.

2- Disobedience. Sometimes, our needs may make us to disobey God. But, we need to trust God and walk in obedience to His word. 3- Circumstance. We are not to look at situation or circumstance rather, we should sow our seed by trusting God for His word. We should not speculate nor procrastinate so as not to miss on timing and God’s blessing. “He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap.” Eccl. 11:4 4- Ground to sow : It is good to sow into good ground. Yet, like the sower, we must sow in diverse places or many areas. Eccl 11:1-2

5- Devil: Of course, the enemy always tries its best to rob the brethren of their blessings by tempting or dissuading them from giving to God or make them to either cheat on tithe or irregular giving. The enemy does not want us to obey God because he knows there are blessings in obedience. 6- Faith: We should not disbelieve or waiver knowing fully well that doubt can hinder us from receiving from God. It is by faith we can receive from God. As we sow, we must believe that God is true to His word. Heb. 11:6; Jas. 1:6-8. 7- Poor teaching: Today, there is poor teaching on giving. It is necessary to do balanced teaching devoid of cunning craftiness on giving so that God’s people may receive full blessings from the Lord by their hearty giving. Ignorance of the word generally and concerning giving especially is affecting many believers. Jesus is our example. He went about doing good. We must emulate Jesus. 'WHICH WAY ARE YOU HEADED?”: BY PROPHETESS SISTER MARY BOLDEN CHILD OF GOD, DO YOU KNOW WHICH WAY YOU ARE HEADED I MEAN, HAVE YOU SOUGHT THE LORD FOR DIRECTION OR IS IT YOUR OWN SELFISH DESIRE THAT IS TAKING CHARGE IN YOUR MIND HAVE YOU BECOME BLINDED BECAUSE OF THE WORLDLY DESIRES OF YOUR HEART THAT WANT TO LEAD THE WAY IS IT POPULARITY IS IT THE LOVE OR RATHER THE LUST OF MONEY IS IT THE PERSUASION OF YOUR LOVED ONES WHO WANT TO TELL YOU WHAT THEY THINK YOU SHOULD DO IS IT THE PRIDE OF LIFE, THE LUST OF THE FLESH OR THE LUST OF LIFE ITSELF SO MANY TIMES MAN CAN BE ON THE HIGHWAYS OF LIFE AND TRAVELING LONG DISTANCE, BUT GOING IN THE WRONG DIRECTION. IT MAY SEEM THAT IT MUST BE THAT HE MADE THE WRONG TURN, BUT HE REFUSES TO STOP AND ASK FOR DIRECTIONS. INSTEAD, BECAUSE OF HIS PRIDEFULNESS AND NOT WANTING TO ADMIT HE MADE A WRONG TURN, HE CONTINUES TRAVELING DOWN THE WRONG ROAD.

AND IT'S NOT UNTIL HE FINDS HIMSELF LOOKING AT A SIGN SAYING " DEAD END" THAT HE TURNS AROUND AND GOES BACK TO GET DIRECTION TO THE RIGHT ROAD TO REACH HIS DESTINY SADLY ENOUGH, IT SEEMS TO TAKE SOME KIND OF TRAGIC HAPPENING ; AN ACCIDENT THAT LEAVES A PERSON PARALYZED; OR A DREADED DISEASE SUCH AS CANCER, DIABETES, HEART FAILURE, OR EBOLA, THE MOST RECENT DREADED DISEASE THAT HAS BEEN ALLOWED TO KILL THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE IN WEST AFRICA BEFORE SOME MEN WILL FINALLY GET THE "WAKE UP CALL" AND PAUSE TO REALIZE THEY ARE HEADED DOWN THE WRONG PATH AND THAT THEY NEED TO REPENT THERE ARE SOME, HOWEVER, WHO REFUSE TO HEED THE WAKE UP CALL THAT THE LORD GIVES THEM , ALLOWING THEM AN OPPORTUNITY TO TURN AROUND AND GET ON THE RIGHT ROAD , WHICH IS THE RIGHTEOUS ROAD OF GOD THAT HE HAS MAPPED OUT IN HIS WORD.

IGNORANCE CAN NOT BE ACCEPTABLE AS AN EXCUSE BECAUSE GOD HAS A PLAN AND IT IS TO PROSPER YOU AND I AND IT IS TO GIVE US HOPE FOR A BETTER FUTURE. ALL WE NEED TO DO IS ASK HIM TO REVEAL HIS PLAN TO US AND THEN, FOLLOW DIRECTIONS THAT HE HAS LAID OUT FOR US IN HIS WORD. ALSO, HE WILL REVEAL VIA HIS HOLY SPIRIT WHETHER OR NOT WE ARE GOING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. HE DOESN'T WANT TO HAVE TO PUNISH US BY SHOWING FORTH HIS WRATH BUT, HE CHASTENS THOSE HE LOVES, JUST LIKE AN EARTHLY FATHER DOES HIS CHILD THAT HE LOVES AND DOESN'T WANT TO SEE GO IN THE WRONG DIRECTION. THE BIBLE EVEN DECLARES THAT YOU HATE YOUR CHILD IF YOU DON'T CHASTEN THEM. SOME MEN EVEN THINK THAT THEY CAN "STRATTLE THE FENCE", AND THAT MEANS THEY THINK THEY CAN SERVE THE LORD ON SUNDAY, BUT GIVE THE DEVIL MONDAY - SATURDAY NIGHT AND AS LONG AS THEY GIVE THEIR TITHES TO THE MAN OF GOD ON SUNDAY, ALL WILL BE "COOL" WITH THE LORD NOT SO, CHILD OF GOD BE NOT DECIEVED, GOD IS NOT MOCKED.

MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE ON THE RIGHT ROAD AND HEADED IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION THAT LEADS TO THE KINGDOM OF GOD. IF YOU'RE NOT BORN AGAIN, YOU WON'T MAKE IT INTO THE KINGDOM. GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND I PRAY THAT THIS HAS BEEN AN INSPIRATION AND A WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE STRIVING TO DO THE RIGHT THING AND GO IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION THAT GOD ALMIGHTY WOULD HAVE YOU TO GO. LOVE WITH AGAPE', PROPHETESS SISTER MARY

WHO IS "YOUR" GOD??????? BY APOSTLE JESSIE STRIGGLES Many of you may say "well that is a stupid question" !!!!!! NO, actually it is a question that need to be ask - even to family members. WHY? If I don't let you talk; I will never know what you believe - I would just be assuming that we are on one accord serving and believing in the same God!!!! AGAIN - WHO IS "YOUR" GOD???? If you would asked - you would be surprised to hear them say - I don't believe in God; I know there is something out there - but what I don't know; but I do believe when you die that is it. I have heard some say just recently, when you die; you turn into a demon.

Page | 69

WOW!!!!! I hear you; some are saying God is above all and first in my life - WELL, I beg the difference again for that has yet to be proven in you life; NOT MINE - YOURS!!! Some believe in horses and chariots, some simply believe in themselves, their own ability to go make things happen. Many fall apart and you almost have to bury them when a minor tragedy happens, because they don't believe in My God. Your husband/wife is your God; your children is your God; your earthy goods is your God. Your job is your God. Your money is your God! So many can NOT be tested on losing anything or anyone - less NOW WE MUST HAVE A FUNERAL!!!

Who is MY God??? Well we are just alike; I have been created in his imagine. Yes He is a Spirit that stepped out of nowhere onto nothing and created all things. My God sometimes I call Him Heavenly Father and sometimes Abba Father, sometimes I simply call Him daddy; but He made it perfectly clear to me; that in order to get HIS attention, I must come thru His son Jesus; whom the Father did send down to take on the cross just for me. MY GOD - THE GREAT I AM - He is anything I need Him to be in my life tried and tested and proven to be ALL I need him to be. It is why I say - I AM ALONE; BUT NOT LONELY - HE SENT ME THE HOLY GHOST!!!!! My God has done wonders for me and kept me when I didn't understand. I didn't need a shoulder to cry on - I had one. He put His spirit in me - AAAAAHH that is where we look alike.

Page | 70

I know Him as my Healer, Provider, Protector, Keeper, I KNOW HIM AS GOD ALMIGHTY - GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON AND GOD THE HOLY GHOST. SOME CALL HIM BY NAMES IN HEBREW OR GREEK AND THAT IS COOL. MAKE NO MISTAKE - WHEN I CALL ON THE NAME OF JESUS; I GET MAXIMUM RESULTS JUST AS YOU!!!! WHEN YET ANOTHER PASTOR COMMITS SUICIDE - WHO IS HIS GOD? MY GOD WILL NOT ACCEPT SUICIDE!!!!! final word - tell me about your God - WHO IS YOUR GOD AGAIN???? from the desk of AJS

AND GOD SAID “LET THE EARTH BE CHICKIFIED!” : BY KAREN ZEIGLER

It takes a lot to ruffle my feathers but when it comes to issues of women I tend to throw my introverted personality aside and speak up. The first time it happened last week I grizzled but when I heard it again my passion on the subject kicked in and I exclaimed “oh no they didn’t!”

It’s been a while since I have written a post because I’ve been up to my eyeballs in editing my next book. However, when the emotions are stirred I find it hard to let go until I’ve put my thoughts on the page. So here I am. The first time I heard the term “chickified” I was reading an article about the latest controversy with Mark Driscoll where it mentions that he believes the American church is “chickified” by women. The second came as I was listening to a popular conservative Radio Host who was bashing the President (which I was in agreement with most of his points of criticism) until he made the comment that the President’s cabinet was chickified. I knew from the tone of both of these comments that somehow chickified wasn’t a good thing. A quick search in the Urban Dictionary and my suspicions were confirmed.

Chickified: the sissying of society by means of being soft & weak. Mainly pertaining to the emasculation or castration of men as a society. First let me state the obvious. If men were such manly men, why on earth would society become sissied by the soft & weak? What happened to the strongest survive? What does it say about the big strong manly men if society has been so horribly overtaken by the soft & weak? Have they disappeared? Are they just not standing up….that doesn’t sound strong to me.

Page | 73

Second let me point out what might not be so obvious. While men are physically stronger than women that by no means is to say that a woman is weak. Throughout the centuries and even still today women endure physical, mental and emotional abuse primarily at the hands of men. From physical violence to rape, women have endured much oppression. The fact that women are still standing, not to mention holding key roles in the business and political world isn’t a sign of their weakness but a testimony to their amazing strength. And finally lest we forget it was God himself that said “Let the earth be chickified!” Well actually He said “It was not good for man to be alone” but He could have given man a male buddy that he could hang out and drink beer with while he watched the football game. But nope God knew that unless he wanted this earth to look like a grungy bachelor pad that it needed to be chickified. He knew that the work he had given man would not be finished if he were left alone so he gave him a helper suitable. So before we complain that church or any particular organization has been done a disservice because it has become chickified -you may want to consider what it would look like if all the chicks turned and walked away. Click to tweet if you believe

LIFE IS BETTER CHICKIFIED!

http://www.latimes.com/world/middleeast/la-fg-iraqchristians-20140919-story.html Iraqi Christians displaced by Sunni militants seek to flee abroad

Many displaced Christians now see no future in Iraq, home to one of the most ancient Christian communities anywhere. Now we know there is no more security in this country. We love this land, we're rooted to this land, but it's hopeless.Father Bahnam Lalo, who fled Bartella, Iraq

"Now we know there is no more security in this country," said Father Bahnam Lalo, pastor of Bartella's St. George Church, who, like most of his parishioners, fled to Irbil, capital of the relatively safe semiautonomous Kurdish region. "We love this land, we're rooted to this land, but it's hopeless." International attention last month focused on the plight of the Yazidis, another minority group, and their harrowing escape to Mt. Sinjar. But about 100,000 Christians also have fled the Sunni militants since June, church leaders say. Multitudes of displaced Christians are now hoping to join relatives in Europe, the United States, Australia and elsewhere. Many have had enough after more than a decade of sectarian-fueled conflict that followed the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq, during which Christians have become an ever-more vulnerable minority. They would rather contemplate immigration, despite its many challenges, including the often extreme difficulty of acquiring visas, and the risks of enlisting the services of human smugglers. "Even if Bartella is liberated, people will go back for a short time, get their affairs in order, and leave," predicted Father Lalo, speaking from a shack serving as a makeshift office for the displaced in Irbil.

For weeks before the Islamic State takeover, the atmosphere had been tense in Bartella, about 10 miles east of Mosul, the largest city in northern Iraq that was overrun in June. By early August, the militants were on the march again, fanning out from Mosul across the Nineveh plains, long home to people of disparate creeds and ethnic origins. Frantic reports reached Bartella that residents risked being beheaded if they did not convert to Islam. Women were in danger of being sold as sex slaves.

Page | 77

Defending Bartella was a combined force of Iraqi Kurdish fighters known as peshmergaand members of the Hirasaat ("guardian" in Arabic), a makeshift volunteer Christian militia. The peshmerga had arrived in June, after the Iraqi army withdrew, and vowed to defend Bartella. Yet in the predawn hours of Aug. 8, the peshmerga received orders to withdraw, according to a Hirasaat volunteer who was stationed at a checkpoint near the main highway to Mosul. "The peshmerga commander turned to me at 2 a.m. and said they were leaving the area and advised me to do the same," said the ex-militiaman, who spoke anonymously for his personal security. "He said, 'You can stay and fight if you want, but we're leaving!' " Bartella soon lost most of its defenders as Islamic State fighters closed in. "What could we do? Was I supposed to fight ‌ with a rusty Kalashnikov?" asked the former militiaman, raising his hands in frustration. "I hadn't fired it in four years.... I didn't even know if it would fire." By 10 a.m, Bartella had fallen. Most residents escaped to the relative safety of Irbil or Dahuk, also in semiautonomous Kurdistan. Four or five Christians, too old or infirm to move, have remained behind.

Page | 78

In Irbil, those who couldn't find housing with relatives or friends made their way to courtyards of churches in the city's Christian neighborhood, Ainkawa. They took shelter in tents hastily set up by aid organizations and church administrators. Others sought refuge in the half-built shell of a multistory construction site on Ainkawa's main thoroughfare, across the street from the Church of St. Joseph. They crammed themselves, two families or more, into drab concrete rooms reminiscent of prison cells, a tarpaulin on the floor and another spread across the "entrance," the only concession to comfort and privacy. Mufreed Said came to Irbil with his wife, two children and brother and occupied a space in the musty basement level of the unfinished building. On a recent evening, the brothers, heavy-set men with permanent scowls occasionally broken by an acerbic chuckle, squatted on the floor in a circle with some of their Bartella neighbors. They exchanged rumors, bits of information gleaned from social media and hasty calls with those left behind. One man wondered whether his new house was now occupied by an Islamic State fighter. Said expressed hope that a Muslim neighbor still in Bartella had managed to go into his house and salvage the family's framed wedding photos.

Page | 79

All agreed on one thing, as they sat in safety in Kurdistan: The Kurdish fighting forces had abandoned them. "The peshmerga didn't even tell us to run away," Said explained, his voice rising in anger. "It was my friend in the local defense force who told me to leave my home after thepeshmerga had already left." For Said and his family, it no longer mattered that Kurdish and Iraqi forces, aided by U.S. air power, might soon recapture Bartella. He has already made his decision: He and his family will leave Iraq. "Even if you put all of Iraq in my name, I won't come back," Said declared. "I would rather sleep on the streets in Lebanon than come back here." Two days later, Said was no longer answering his Iraqi cellphone. He and his family had left Iraq. PRAYER PLEA FOR SYRIAN, IRAQIS CHRISTIANS VOICED BY FLOYD http://www.brnow.org/News/September-2014/Prayer-plea-forSyrian-Iraqi-Christians-voiced-by September 24 2014 by Diana Chandler, Baptist Press Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) President Ronnie Floyd added the crisis in Iraq and Syria alongside his continuing plea for prayer for spiritual awakening when he delivered his first address to the SBC Executive Committee Monday (Sept. 22) in Nashville. “Perhaps you know or maybe you don’t, but currently in Iraq and Syria we are witnessing a once-in-a-thousand-year destruction of the Christian church. A modern book of martyrs is being written,” Floyd said. “We need to elevate before our churches the international crisis in Iraq and Syria.” Floyd’s call for prayer came hours before news broke of airstrikes by combined United States and Arab forces against ISIS strongholds in Syria and Iraq. “Pray every day for these brothers. Pray the prayer of Paul in 2 Thessalonians 3:2, that God might deliver them from wicked and evil men,” Floyd encouraged Executive Committee members. “Call upon your church to pray even this Sunday about it.

Page | 81

“Pastors and Christian leaders, educate yourself and speak up on behalf of these brothers and sisters in your churches and on social media. Don’t let the world ignore this. I call upon each of us tonight as Southern Baptists to be a voice that resounds loudly and clearly about this issue.” In advance of the SBC annual World Hunger Sunday Oct. 12, Floyd urged financial support of Global Hunger Relief and Baptist Global Response initiatives which aid persecuted and displaced Christians globally. The crisis in Syria and Iraq is more extreme than many realize, Floyd said, describing ISIS as demonic evil aimed at a brutal genocide and Christian holocaust. “Just three days ago, I was invited to a confidential briefing with 40 global Christian leaders. What I learned on that call was that the situation in Iraq and Syria is even worse than any of us have imagined,” Floyd said. “Christian children have been beheaded, Christians are being cut in half, Christian women are being raped and trafficked by the thousands, and more than 500,000 Christians in Iraq alone have been displaced.” Ronnie Floyd

Page | 82

Since taking office in June, Floyd has consistently urged Southern Baptists to pray for spiritual awakening and revival. He continued his plea in speaking to the Executive Committee. “We need to believe God for the next Great Awakening. We cannot fix ourselves,” said Floyd, longtime senior pastor of Cross Church in northwest Arkansas. “Most of us know history relating to the awakenings of the past, but however you want to describe it, we need a mighty move of God in this nation like none of us have ever seen.” Romans 13:11 and 1 Chronicles 12:32 both exhort Christians to know and respond appropriately to the times, Floyd said, in regard to the world’s current ills. “We are so blessed that sovereign God has chosen us to live at this point in human history, in this decisive and critical season,” Floyd said, “and we must rise up and be more responsive than we have ever been.” The SBC has experienced many transitions since its founding in 1845 and cannot conduct itself with “ancient systems in modern times,” Floyd said. “These days call us to faith, to believing God for the impossible, and to change not once, not twice, but perpetually in order to be able to be positioned continually as a denomination to reach the world for Christ,” he said.

Page | 83

“We must be willing to die to ourselves, die to our preferences, die to our disagreements, die to our biases and prejudices, and be willing to die to our ways, practices and actions that may prohibit God’s power upon us from reaching the world for Christ.” In order to believe God for the next Great Awakening, Christians must agree that revival is needed, become extraordinary in their prayer lives and enlist thousands more to pray for revival. Unity, agreement and cooperation were prevailing themes of Floyd’s address. He urged Southern Baptists to take seven steps in response toward revival. In addition to praying for Iraq and Syria and praying for a Great Awakening, Floyd urged Southern Baptists to come together in unity, recapture what it means to cooperate together, elevate the needs and values of the SBC Cooperative Program, recommit to personal and church evangelism, and attend the annual meeting June 16-17 in Columbus, Ohio. Floyd announced the new website www.pray4awakening.com as a tool to mobilize Southern Baptists in prayer. “Extraordinary prayer is more than you are doing today personally, more than our churches are doing today, and more than our convention is doing today,” Floyd said.

Page | 84

“We need to call out to God with great urgency, with a firm conviction, that revival and spiritual awakening is our great need. Therefore, we will not stop crying out to God until God brings it to us.” During his presidency, Floyd said he already has heard from Southern Baptist leaders a sense of desperation and urgency for God to “fall down upon His people with fresh power and with fresh fire from heaven.” He said he has conducted conference calls with Southern Baptist leaders including student, collegiate, young adult and education pastors to strategize for personal and church evangelism across the nation. “Leaders of the Southern Baptist Convention, these are days of crisis, urgency and opportunity. We must increase our pace in all we do. We need our own holy version of a hurry up, no huddle offense in fulfilling the Great Commission,” he said, referencing the coaching strategy of Gus Malzahn, head football coach of the Auburn University Tigers. “We will only do this when we work together in this urgent moment, to pray more than ever, to unify more than ever, to cooperate more than ever, to give more than ever, to be more courageous than ever, and to commit ourselves more than ever to finish the task of reaching the world for Christ.”

Hindu Nationalist Group Seeking to Cleanse Christian Presence From India Is Not Unlike ISIS, Watchdog Group Warns BY STOYAN ZAIMOV , CHRISTIAN POST REPORTER HTTP://WWW.CHRISTIANPOST.COM/NEWS/HINDUNATIONALIST-GROUP-SEEKING-TO-CLEANSE-CHRISTIANPRESENCE-FROM-INDIA-IS-NOT-UNLIKE-ISIS-WATCHDOGGROUP-WARNS-126033/

International Christian Concern has warned that Sangh Parivar, an umbrella Hindu nationalist group, is inflicting suffering and looking to cleanse the minority Christian population in India, much like terror group ISIS is doing in Iraq and Syria. The watchdog group said in a press release that the nationalist group and its associate organizations have been directing hate speech toward Christians and leading attacks on pastors and churches in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh. Believers are reportedly worried that radical Hindu nationalism and persecution of minorities will escalate. John Dayal, a member of the Indian government's National Integration Council, said: "There has been a sharp rise in hate campaigns against Christians by political organizations. This threat of purging Christians from villages extends from Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh to now Uttar Pradesh, and to the borders of the national capital of New Delhi." There have been reports of churches being turned into Hindu temples, and entire mobs attacking Christian houses — ICC shared of one incident in July where a church in Sahakarinagar village was rampaged by a group of 25 Hindu radicals, led by Hemanth Singh, a leader in the local Bajrangdal group.

Page | 89

Rev. R. C. Paul, who was leading a Bible study at the church at the time, was beaten along with several other members. "We were shaken and are very scared of the situation in the area. We are concerned of our safety, even going alone outside looks very dangerous at the moment," Paul said. ICC noted in its press release that news headlines will continue to focus on Christian persecution at the hands of terror group ISIS in Iraq, but argued that the international community "must take notice of the issues of Christian persecution globally." "Like Christians facing ISIS in Iraq, millions of Christians across India are facing persecution at the hands of radical Hindu nationalist groups," the watchdog group added. "Without drastic change, this difficult situation will likely only get worse, as radical Hindu nationalist groups popping up across India have been given almost complete impunity under the new Hindu nationalist government led by BJP and Narendra Modi." Following May's election of the nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party, several Indian church leaders had said that they were not concerned that extremist groups would rise up against minorities.

"Minorities, such as Christians and Muslims, are an integral part of the nation and of the social fabric of Indian society. Minorities are protected by the Constitution, I believe that the new government cannot and will not want to go against the Constitution. As Christians we are confident," His Exc. Mgr. Stanley Roman, bishop of Quilon, in the state of Kerala, had said at the time. His Exc. Mgr. Albert D'Souza, archbishop of Agra, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, and general secretary of the Indian Bishops' Conference, added that sometimes "small groups of fanatics can give us concern," but argued that the Church "will continue in its mission to pray for the new government and contribute to the common good of the nation, supporting democracy, respect for pluralism, the rights of all and a secular concept in the political agenda." New Delhi Archbishop Anil J. Couto has now also raised concern, however, at the rising attacks on Christians and churches in India in recent months. "It is very disturbing, and we request local authorities to take adequate measures to book the miscreants threatening to weaken the social fabric of this great nation," Couto said. "The Sangh Parivar plan [is] to carry out shuddhikaran — attempts to re-convert Christians to Hinduism," the Archbishop continued."This move by fundamentalist groups is a grave assault on the fundamental rights of individuals and people and groups."

Other persecution watchdog ministries, like Open Doors, have also noted a rise in Hindu extremism targeting Christians. The group ranks India as number 28 on its list of countries where Christians face the most persecution.

Kathi Macias Devotional “The Holy Spirit will come upon you [Mary], and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God” (Luke 1:35, NKJV). Someone recently said to me, “I don’t know why the Christian Church doesn’t just admit that Joseph was Jesus’ father; then maybe I could buy into their religion.” One of the saddest statements I’ve ever heard, for if the Church (God forbid!) should ever confess such a thing, it would be apostate and all true believers would have to disassociate themselves from it. The very heart of the Christian faith hangs on the truth of the Virgin Birth and the Resurrection of Christ. Without those underpinnings, our faith is a futile and dead religion. Though the faithless might then be able to “buy into it,” the faithful simply could not do so. Years ago, when I first became a born-again believer, a wise old pastor said to me, “Make Bible study and prayer your daily disciplines. As you do so, begin to make a list of things you’re willing to go to war over—things you believe so strongly you would die for them.

And then never compromise.” Then he smiled and added, “But keep your list short.” That was more than four decades ago, and I have never forgotten his excellent advice. I have made my “willing to go to war over” list short and to the point, not including negotiable items such as baptism (sprinkling or dunking), rapture (pre-, mid- or post-), etc. But the few items that are on that list must never be changed or compromised, and the Virgin Birth is one of those items. If we concede that the father of Jesus could have been Joseph, then we have denied His divinity, relegating Him solely to human nature, which is flawed. How then could His death on the Cross have atoned for our sins, if He too was in need of atonement? No, the Church can never confess such blasphemy, and that means that none of us as individuals dare do so. When we encounter people who say they might be able to “buy into” the Christian faith if only the Church would stop asserting the Virgin Birth as fact, then we must pray for such deceived individuals. For it is for them (as well as us) that Christ came to earth, was born of the Virgin Mary, atoned for our sins on the Cross, rose again—and will one day return to reign. Those are unchanging truths you can literally bet your life on. Communicating the vision… (Hab.2:2) alandkathi@ca.rr.com www.kathimacias.com

Hated to Loved: Jeff Godsown This is the true story about a man whom God established as His own, and still is being honed by God for continued service. This man got saved late in his life, and even after he was saved, he didn’t really take everything Godly serious. Then one day, he heard preacher say; “if you want to know the truth of God’s Word, study it from the original language”. Now mind you, that sentence had to take root, before it could take over, and with the all types and different kind of objections this man had, he didn’t want to go that far. Then a God moment happened, right there in front of his face, in English letters but Hebrew words was the scripture from John 1:1. Each Hebrew word was translated into English so he actually got to see just what the Hebrew Bible was all about and a taste of the difference. John 1:1; Bereshis (in the Beginning) was the Dvar Hashem [YESHAYAH 55:11; BERESHIS 1:1], and the Dvar Hashem was agav (along with) Hashem [MISHLE 8:30; 30:4], and the Dvar Hashem is the very character and nature of God and nothing less, by nature, than Elohim in a reflection as if in a mirror!

[Psa 56:11(10); Yn 17:5; Rev. 19:13] Just the slightest difference, but that difference established a hunger in this man to want to know more, and in his searching, what he learned made him even hungrier. He sat and studied silently, learning old Biblical Hebrew, and still does today, digging into every word, that he might get a better picture and understanding of who God is. He learned to seek the Spirit of truth over everything he read, and why God said things a certain way, he also learned the language does make a difference. Slowly, he began writing the things God was placing in his spirit man, the results were strange to see, and for a while, some were hurtful. It’s kind of funny, how God chooses His people, and for the life of me, I can’t quite fathom, how He makes His choices. I can look back on my life and say, this thing led to this other thing, which led to another thing, and all these things added up to God’s placement ofmy calling in Christ, but hey what do I know. It’s also kind of funny to watch what happens in a congregation, he’s been invited to preach to, the changing looks on faces and their ever changing posture. This man starts off like this; “I am just a man, and as a man, I don’t expect you to believe what I’m saying, but I do expect you to check out what I say with both God and His Word”. When he is finished and everybody is showing their disdain and desire to never hear from him again, he still walks to his vehicle in peace, and with a smile in his heart that kind of shows on his face.

Page | 97

This man was once asked about the smile, he calmly stated; “they have no idea what they’re in for”. On a nice night, you can hear him, from his open window, praying for everyone to receive what God had planted, he already knew, God was going to do His God thing, and people were going to be changed. This man makes it clear, he is no orator, yet every word that proceeds from his mouth, comes out with boldness and confidence, some might even say; it’s as if God was speaking through him. This man has had his bouts with the desire to be recognized, so he too has had to learn to fight the natural prideful desires of mankind, though it doesn’t look it and you never hear it anymore, he still fights the good fight to not let pride enter. God is continually having a profound effect in this man’s life, and come hell, high-water, or total destruction, this man will never forsake his redeemer. It’s when he is invited back to preach, he actually gets to see the fruit of his availing himself to God, in those who were angry with him and hated him, for revealing their private lives to others. He never spied on anyone, he doesn’t tell secrets from personal knowledge, and he won’t cause division between brothers, he just speaks what God places in his heart and the words God places in his mouth. Though he was hated, the first, second, or third time he spoke, there always comes a day, when the people of the church he speaks with, actually show him love. People may say they want the truth, but the fact to that is, they only want it if it doesn’t affect them.

Page | 98

When truth starts hitting to hard at home, then truth causes an eruption of anger in people, but if like these people, whose hearts changed, they would talk with God and ask Him to remove their hurtful and or wicked ways. In the act of spiritual surgery, removing these ugly burdens, people sense a freedom and a joy, along with the peace that passes all understanding, then they get it. It is out of love that hard truths are spoken, and those same hard truths were the ones needed for that particular member of the body of Christ. It is love that set them free, just like Jesus on the cross, God the Father, out of love sent His Son the Word of God in love, to free His people from the chains and nets of Satan. Jesus made it clear, if there is no Jesus, the Word of God in love in us, then how can He know us? If He doesn’t know us, then it’s too bad for our eternal rest, actually in this case, “our unrest”. Isn’t it better to believe and receive in love, than to stand on the outside, looking in, in our unrest and torment? I write these things to help all who read, and though some of these messages are really hard to swallow, I do what I do in love. Like that man said; “I am just a man, and as a man, I don’t expect you to believe what I’m saying, but I do expect you to check out what I say with both God, and His Word”. Let us all get on the right track, the track that’s shows we renew our minds daily and we study to show ourselves approved, not to men, but to God alone. In this statement is the law of God, in doing it and even sharing it in love, is the command of Christ.

Page | 99

Isn’t it time we got hungry for the real Jesus and not the man-made, man painted Jesus, we can see by reading and studying God’s Word, every man is a liar but God alone is true, Amen!!!

The Story Of Soul ~Author Unknown~ ADDED BY CAROLYN ISPEAKLIFEINCHRIST PULLEN

Once was a man named Soul who was walking in a garden. He was whistling a real sweet tune for he was saved and had the joy of the Lord, but he was a baby Christian. As Soul was walking a beautiful and seductive woman came out from behind a tree. Soul was very startled. He said, "Hello, I'm Soul, what is your name?" She replied, "I am Temptation, I have what you want." "What do I want?" Replied Soul.

"You want to do all things which are of the flesh," Said Temptation. Soul replied, "O.K., lead me." So he and Temptation went off and fulfilled the desires of the flesh. When Soul returned to the garden, he met a man named Condemnation. Condemnation said, "Hey, I see you have met my friend, Temptation." Soul said, "Yes, who are you?" "I'm Condemnation, I come after Temptation, we work hand-inhand." Then Condemnation jumped on Soul's back and began to beat him. He hit him in the face and kicked him when he was down. This went on for several days. On about the third day a man named Mercy came running and said, "I command you Condemnation to stop beating Soul." Condemnation snickered, "Make me." So Mercy unsheathed his sword and cut Condemnation in two. As Soul watched in astonished pain, he was overtaken by the power of Mercy. Mercy walked up to Soul and said, "I have dealt with Condemnation before. He should not show up around you anymore." Soul replied, "How can I ever thank you?" "Well," replied Mercy, "I was sent here by God and He told me to introduce you to a dear friend of mine. His name is Redemption." Redemption walked up and said, "Hello Soul, I see that you are not doing well." Soul replied, "Not until Mercy came along. It is a pleasure to meet you Redemption."

"Well," said Redemption," I am glad to meet you. Are you ready to accept me?" "What do you mean?" asked Soul. Redemption said, "Well, when you accepted Jesus and decided to walk with Him then you chose to accept the things of Him and His love. I am apart of Jesus' Love. I help you feel forgiven. You will never have to deal with Condemnation again. Temptation may come around, but I have someone I would like for you to meet that can help you with that. His name is Grace." Grace walked up to Soul and said, "Hello Soul, I have been waiting for you. As a matter of fact all three of us have been waiting to meet you. I will help you take the way out of Temptation that God gives you as it comes up. The last person we want you to meet is Faith." "Hi Soul, I am Faith, and I will help you stay strong and keep your beliefs strong," said Faith. Soul began to cry. When he began to cry Redemption said, "This is what we were here for. Jesus redeemed you, saved you by Grace through Faith and gives you his Mercy. Jesus loves you Soul." Soul said, "I love you Jesus."

The-Play/TESTIMONY BY MARGARET MULLINGS Margaret Mullings author, playwright, and evangelist will celebrated a major milestone in her life at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Seagrape . Mullings will not only have a sneak peek of her upcoming book, but will stage the play named for the book, From the cage to the Palace in celebration of her golden year plus two. As a staunch believer in the word of God and His direction for her life, Mullings told The Freeport News that the production set for tonight is not only for unbelievers, but also for believers who are struggling with one situation or another, especially suicide.

Having a firsthand experience with and overcoming a time when she contemplated ending her own life, Mullings noted that for a long time, she hid the experience. However, Mullings added that at this precious time in her life, she is humbled and gives God thanks because, "I never thought I would really live to 24-years, but God's willing on September 18 I would be 52." Noting that it has been quite a journey and having got the release to write her autobiography, From the cage to the palace, Mullings describe her experiences getting to this stage in her life as "simply amazing." Adding that her life story, transformation, was something that she never wanted to share. " It was a time where I was suicidal... I had a divine encounter with the Lord on my way going to commit suicide." Mullings, a believer, a wife and mother during the time, said no one knew what she was "dealing with, what she was experiencing." She recalled that her children were at school, her husband was out at the time and she was battling a number of challenges all encompassing suicide but the one thing that stood out, she noted with the act was un-forgiveness. She remembers, vividly, making plans to go to the ocean to end her life, but before leaving her home, "I got as far as the front-room and I heard these words 창 you can go to the ocean or you can come to me." After stubbornly ignoring what she heard for a few minutes, Mullings said she finally surrendered. "

Page | 105

The spirit of suicide is very strong and is accompanied with other spirits like depression, unforgiveness, guilt..." She noted that that was a very difficult time in her life. " You can be a Christian, going to church and doing all the church things ... but you can be on your way to hell because of unforgiveness; and so this play is to share the message that there is hope. " You don't have to die, you don't have to take your life, you don't have to stay in the cage but you can get to the palace. The palace of forgiveness, the palace of surrender, the palace of release." Mullings expects lives to be changed during the showing Thursday evening, as this is a worldwide message that affects not only the mature, but the young as well. She hopes by sharing her experience during that dark time with the audience many will find, "they can either go to the ocean or they can go to God, and He has all the answers to every question, need, want and desire, we have." Mullings said that an invitation is extended to the entire Grand Bahama community to attend the play tonight and be blessed.

SERVING THE LAW OF GOD WITH OUR MIND - Part 1

By Ambassador Amos Young [Rom 7:25] I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve "the law of God;" > but with the flesh (If I succumb to so would then serve) > the law of sin. Mat 5:1 And {Jesus} seeing the multitudes, (Jesus didn't just look on them as to be seeing them merely in his physical presence. Jesus perceived being the Son of Man as to what the multitudes were in need of, He having always known having been slain before the foundation of the world for the sins of the world; The Lamb of God). Jesus supplies the needs we are to come to know so do to serve Father in the law of God with our mind thus not to fulfill the lust of the flesh, for flesh and blood cannot enter into The Kingdom of Heaven. (even though some folk be saying, no prob Bob)

Jesus comes to impart (share so to teach richly as a seed planted deeply in the mind and heart of the one open to receiving so being the branch of the Vine bearing fruit in Him of Him for Him expanding his Kingdom faith to faith for, we can do nothing, on our own ….Jesus is come so to change “the mind and heart” [Mat 4:17] of whosoever will, having and ear to hear, hear – and so … … seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him: (the disciples too were now set to learn, hear, be filled regarding Jesus doctrine (teachings) that they also would go forth send of Him to teach and preach the same as they were taught by Jesus [Luk 8:1] [Acts 1:3] and Paul by revelation, so having fought the good fight, having finished the course [Acts 28:23-24. 30=31] … 5:1-2 … seeing the multitudes, {Jesus} went up into the mountain and when he was set his disciples came unto him and {Jesus} opened his mouth and taught them, saying > : 3 Blessed are the poor (the humble in heart, those of a contrite heart, a heart of humility fit for the receiving in heart and mind, poor) in spirit ….

The Knowledge of the Kingdom of God vs the Ignorance of Men BY DR.LEONARD ROBINSON

"One of the worst assaults on God's word comes from people who say they believe the Bible but don't know what it teaches." John MacArthur This statement could not be more true and stated by one of Christaindom's foremost leaders of fundamental, conservative Christian theology. I've listened to MacArthur teach on the Kingdom of God on a radio station out of Buffalo/Niagara Falls, New York and unfortunately he did not come close enough to what the Bible says on the subject, but for the person who hasn't studied the Kingdom at all or likes MacArthur's work, they would think that what John MacArthur taught on the Kingdom would be sound theology in part, because it was John MacArthur doing the teaching.

Page | 110

Page | 111

That being said, I find MacArthur's quote on the importance of believing the Bible and knowing what it teaches, having knowledge of God's word, quite commendable. His statement captures my sentiment when I think about how important it is for you and I to understand the Kingdom of God on our Heavenly Father's terms. Think about it just for a moment. Jesus in His defeat of Satan in the wilderness having been tempted of the Devil declares; "Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word which shall proceed out of the mouth of God." Then Jesus, who is the Word of God out of the mouth of God, the Word that dwelt among us full of grace and truth proceeds to speak as the voice of God and boldly declares "Repent for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand." Aren't we also called of God to live by every Word that proceeds out of His mouth? Unfortunately when it comes to the knowledge of God's Word its as though we've never read these words so concerning Jesus preached doctrine of the Kingdom of God. It's as though Jesus Kingdom doctrine never really entered our theology or at least, certainly not to the degree that it should have. Much of today's preaching even by many of the leading ministers of our time is an interesting blend of motivational messages aimed at getting the church member to hold on because help is on its way, to also being a series of self help formulas for "going to the next level" in achieving personal success.

Where there is ignorance concerning sound doctrine as it pertains to the Word of God, such ignorance can become the citadel of the adversary. Yet, almost any preacher who has been around for any real length of time would not be quick to agree with you that something is and has been missing in our theology. They've started Churches, weathered storms, seen members come and go and witness God's faithfulness on their behalf or just as they've preached to the members, they are holding on until a breakthrough comes and they walk into their season. You would think God is like dangling a carrot or something but the fact of the matter is that we've missed something so vitally important to our spiritual maturity and the provision of God in all things, and what has and is missing is the knowledge of the Kingdom of God on our Heavenly Father's terms just as He instructed Jesus, the Master teacher to teach us. It was in the heart of the Father to give us Jesus as the Chief Shepherd who would lead us into green pastures and restore our souls. To accomplish His role He preached the Kingdom and led as many as would follow, into the Kingdom and by His work on the cross brought the Kingdom into them.

Page | 112

Whether you see it or not, or even understand it or not, God is changing the way we perceive and do Church. In a great way and to a large degree judgment has began at the house of the Lord and the next generation of reformers will be those Kingdom sons and daughters who lead with humility and a great love for God and God's people, leaders who also have a great understanding of the Kingdom of God which is the heart of the Father towards those who will voluntarily submit to His royal rule, authority and dominion as Supreme King, and to His Son and King of kings and Lord of lords. What the Father is doing in this hour, the reality of it is so great and so wonderful, that the truth that is being revealed concerning the Kingdom of God is actually causing to come to the surface the errors we've all been walking in and exposing the men and women who hold such errors, even promoting them. Saints of God what I've written here as led of the Holy Spirit you will never understand until you begin to study the Kingdom of God as a child. Go to the gospels, look up the word definitions for Seek", "First" "Kingdom" and "Righteousness" according to Matthew 6:33. Also study everywhere in the gospels where Jesus preached, taught and demonstrated the Kingdom of God. If you are really hungry to know the truth then the Holy Spirit will unfold the mystery of the Kingdom to you and you will begin to see that the central message Jesus preached and commanded us to preach is that the Kingdom has arrived and yet is also eternal to come.

Page | 113

It is this missing message of the Kingdom that is the ultimate key to your personal maturity and eventual fruitfulness in all things that the Lord would require of you in this generation. MacArthur was right. "One of the worst assaults on God's word comes from people who say they believe the Bible but don't know what it teaches." Friends study the Kingdom of God, not because I am so insistent about it, but because Jesus said that the Kingdom and righteousness are to be your number one priority.
