In Ecclesiastes 3:1-4 it declares that there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: and it goes on to list those different seasons and what could occur: There's a time to be born, as we all know. That's one thing we have in common and can say specifically when we were born. At least, most of us. I have met some people from Africa, however, who were abandoned as a child or their parents died when they were very young and they don't actually know their birth date. So, they don't really know how old they are, etc. They've never had a birthday party or any such thing that most Americans take for granted. And also, since they were so young when their father and/or mother died, they don't know much about their parents either. We Americans know, most of us, who our parents are. And if we happened to have been adopted, some eventually have made it their business to search for their parents and have found out some things about them.
