In 2017 we created The Hearing Care Partnership: a specialist hearing business built for independent opticians. Today we partner with over 300 independent practices.

We provide a dedicated staff training programme to bring you up to speed before we launch, and ongoing training thereafter.
Our audiologists are employed by The Hearing Care Partnership and work from your existing optometry consulting room.
And because we’re always up-to-date with the very latest developments in hearing care, we’re able to bring your patients a carefully curated service from the world’s most advanced hearing aid manufacturers.
At absolutely no cost to the independent and working as a true partnership, we work together with you as one team, growing the hearing care offering within your business. STEPHANIE HEDICKER BSc, PGDip Audiologist & Hearing Aid Consultant
Stephanie graduated from the University of Bristol in 2014 with a BSc in Audiology. Since graduating, Stephanie worked for the Greater Glasgow and Clyde NHS for over six years. Stephanie also operated a specialised Tinnitus service in the Inverclyde area and provided specialist Tinnitus clinics to all hospitals in the Greater Glasgow and Clyde area.
“The dream when working in the NHS was always to be able to have time to spend with my patients, time for them to consider their options and understand their diagnosis. Finally now working with The Hearing Care Partnership I am able to have that time with my patients as their clinician, to assist them in their hearing journey whilst also having multiple diagnostic tests available to help facilitate this. I have always been passionate about ‘patient centred care’ and finally I feel that I am fully able to achieve it.”

Sam graduated from The University of Southampton in 2014 as a qualified Audiologist and Hearing Aid Dispenser.
Sam has seen the effects of hearing loss first-hand, as his younger sister was born with a profound hearing loss and consequently fitted with a cochlear implant. This experience has given Sam an enormous amount of empathy for his patients and the ability to appreciate the amazing benefits that an audiologist, and hearing devices, can provide a patient and their loved ones.
