The auction started off with a sale of $300 for Bonnie’s Cake Balls bought by Bill Smith, Marshall, MO with the money going to the Ranchers Relief Fund, Chadron, NE. Thank you to Bill for your generous donation. Hope you enjoyed the cake balls! Dick Robbins/Anchor D Ranch has donated 10% of his sales to the Ranchers Relief Fund, SD/NE. Thank you Dick. Thank you to the consignors, buyers, auctioneer, judge, clerk, members & friends for making this sale possible. The NTLA has decided to hold a spring sale in 2014. The date is set for Saturday May 17, 2014. Location is Broken Bow, NE. Mark this on your calendars. More to come later. 2013 has been an exciting year with a Youth Day Seminar in the Spring, State Fair WQ Shows in August and the annual sale in October. Our annual meeting has been set for Saturday, January 4, 2014. We will meet in Ruidoso; time and place will be set by the first of November, when we send out nomination forms for our election of officers. These forms will go out the beginning of November and must to be returned to our Secretary by November 20th. Nominees will be contacted and ballots will go out no later than December 5, 2013. All ballots must be returned before January 3, 2014, for your vote to be counted at the annual meeting. Positions up for election are President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer, and two director positions. If there are any questions please contact Jerry Stevens or Secretary, Kristi Wilson. Affiliate & Show Chairman Reminders 1. A completed application form should be sent to the office prior to your show. You can do this by email. All forms are in the Show Procedures Handbook that can be found under the show tab on our website. 2. All show programs/results, must have the animals TLBAA number. Animals sent in with pending will not be entered into the show program. Also, I can help you build a show program through HORNS that will have all of the animal information and you will not have to type it all in. 3. Your show results hardcopy and $5.00 qualifying fee per animal/per division should be in the office within 14 days of your show. We will be unable to accept results that come in extremely late, or without the qualifying fees. You can also scan the official results, with the judge’s signature, and email them to me. All show forms and results should be sent to Scotty O’Bryan at the TLBAA office, or emailed to scotty@tlbaa.org
