Rooted in the tradition of St. Francis of Assisi, our Catholic faith guides students as they learn to walk in the light of the Gospel and become faith leaders on our campus, in our community, and throughout the MCCworld.students learn how to see the face of Christ in their neighbors while serving at local food banks, soup kitchens, and caring for God’s creation. These experiences teach our community members how to be Christ’s hands and feet in our world. Because the goals of the program are central to the goals of Catholic education, each student must complete a minimum of 25 hours of community service each year. The result of this experience is a growing awareness of the needs of others, greater compassion and a thirst for justice.

CONNECT WITH US MCC holds a population of amazing people who seek what is best for one another. Throughout my four years at MCC, I have come across faculty, staff, and students who have changed my life for the better. I have learned skills that I will carry with me for a lifetime. Being able to visit Jesus daily in the school chapel allowed me to grow closer to Christ. This closeness to God that is consistently present throughout campus allows students to form a tight-knit community and take the peace they receive from the readily available sacraments and share it with their friends and family. MCC not only strives for this spiritual integrity, but also promotes academic excellence, forming each student into a well rounded individual who is prepared to shine his or her positive, bright light on the world.

Megan Haire Class of 2022 Valedictorian Ave Maria University Throughout my years at MCC, I have recognized the importance of academics. The teachers and administration have always pushed me to do my best and to achieve academic excellence. I was challenged, and I thrived in this institution. Since I was challenged, I was able to develop endurance and an attitude that revolved around hard work and never giving up. I give a lot of credit to the incredible teachers that created my academic and study skills. I am forever grateful for my education at Melbourne Central Catholic High School.
