Love, to me, is the warm fuzzy feeling of “being in place” physically, emotionally, and spiritually It can be within ourselves as well as within the world around us I would compare the feeling of “being out of love” with “being out of place”, as they both are encountered when one is not being present This sweet spot could be geographical, in a relationship, a situation, or in our physical bodies Presence is the magic to give meaning to its existence As attention goes where energy flows, presence becomes the most basic form of love with all that we do Just like meditation, when we are “being here” body, mind, and soul and free from judgements, space arises to allow the experience to unfold into a magical flow In my practice of Feng Shui and meditation, I choose to engage with presence to resonate beyond techniques
With both practices complement each other, “play” motivates one to spark joy in our hearts, to make space in our minds and to make sense of the world Range from stillness to movements, my curated sessions span from breathing to tea mediation, from peeling an orange, to walking and dancing, from Feng Shui in place to self-love and relationships With intention, ordinary things can become extraordinary Even taboo things can also become more visible and interesting when we choose to let go of society’s judgments I hope the revolutionary spirit of practices I offer can be a catalyst for change to match our needs, as well as empowering people to choose their own path in the world that is life affirming Speaking of play and taboo, it is a blast to curate one of my mindful “adult play” of the “Mindful Sex Siren”
Optimum energetic flow is achieved when one is “in place” holistically Sensing or “ganying 感應” the flow in the body and in the physical place by being open to the experience of the interconnectedness of the whole of life Far from the traditional “serious master” approach, my intention is to introduce practices of presence with “serious play”. From kids to adults, I believe “play” is the way we actively engage with creativity and love While it could be daunting to keep reminding ourselves to choose the magical flow in every moment Engaging with playfulness allows space to grow physically and emotionally without feeling limited While the physical placement of things in flow helps create a healthy container or environment, playful meditation helps to gain mindful strength in place by expanding the capacity in our own state of presence
As society’s attempt to control women’s physicality, expressions or how we live our lives following the traditional values The femme body and sexuality has been historically a tricky territory to touch on I was once also torn by society’s judgements imposed on my supposed image, left me feeling trapped and lacking space to grow Whether I was considered to be too young, too fat, too flashy, too much make up, too revealing or just because the fact that I am a woman in pursuit to be a scholar, a professional, or a Feng Shui master A few years ago, upon coming back alive from a short term immobility of a sudden illness, I finally realized that it was time for me to take full ownership of who I genuinely am. It was time to listen to my body and to take care of my needs So as recovery, I took up dance for the first time in
