Head of the Institute of Transport and Logistics, Vienna University of Economics and Business & Endowed Chair Professor an der Jilin University Changchun, China
Sebastian Kummer started as Researcher and Lecturer at the WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management, Vallendar (1992 Dissertation (Phd), 1996 Habilitation). From 1996-2001 he had the Chair of business administration, esp. management of transport companies and logistics at the Dresden University of Technology.
Since 2001 he is the Head of the Institute of Transport and Logistics at Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU). He acts as President, Director and member of advisory boards of many scientific and industry associations. He has been a Co-Executive Director of the European section of the MIT Forum Supply Chain Innovation (2006-2011).
Sebastian Kummer has been a visiting professor at universities in Austria, China, Germany, Indonesia, Philippines, Switzerland, Russia, Ukraine and Vietnam. He has written more than 150 publications. His research focuses on Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management as well as on Transport Management and economical analyses of transport infrastructure and services. He works as a consultant and management trainer for companies and government bodies.

Miguel Suarez is an Industrial Engineer with more than 25 years experience in the areas of supply chain management and purchasing from different perspectives. From 1992 to 2014 he worked as top executive of European manufacturing companies as well as of international management consultancies.
In 2015 he started an academic career as Researcher and Associate Professor of accredited universities and business schools in Austria, France, Denmark and Spain. He is an active member of the CSCMP and a regular participant of academic conferences in supply chain management in Europe, Asia and USA.
Miguel´s research and consulting focus lies on supply chain finance, strategy and design as well as on companies’ turnaround approaches.
Miguel holds an MBA from Instituto de Empresa and a PhD degree from Vienna University of Economics and Business.

László Urbányi was born in 1966, married with two children. He graduated as a mechanical engineer in 1990 at the Budapest University of Technology, after he took his engineereconomist degree in 1993 at the University of Finance and Accountancy, after he graduated in 2003 at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, in an MBA program: Management, Production and Quality management. He worked between 1990 and 1992 at the Csepeli Szerszámgépgyártó Rt as a design engineer, after from 1992 till 1998 at the GE Lighting Tungsram in different middle management positions. László worked between 1998 and 2003 at Thomas&Betts as managing director, then from 2003 till 2005 at Flextronics Enclosure as Assistant General Manager. Since 2005 he is the Managing Director Rába Automotive Components, in the meantime from 2008- 2012 he was the managing director of Fehrer Hungaria as a second role in the company as well. Since 2015 László has been a member of the board of the Association of Hungarian Automotive Component Manufacturers.

Zsolt Parrag is the Director of Samsung SDI EV Battery Manufacturing site located in Göd, Hungary. Attended Newcastle University, UK, and graduated in 2008 as Mechanical Engineer. Zsolt spent 5 years at IBM server manufacturing plant before joining Samsung SDI in January 2017.
He has been in the EV battery industry for 6 years, since the establishment of the Göd factory, therefore Zsolt has a great insight of the development and ramp-up of this high-tech industry, which triggered and currently leads the biggest change of the automotive industry. He managed the relocation of such a specific industry.
Due to his vast experience of over 17 years in the field of sales, Bogdan currently manages the Eastern European sales channel within the Honeywell company, identifying new business opportunities, respectively recruiting new partners in the area. Previously, he was part of the B2B sales team of the Orange Romania company.

Ilija Coric was managing Beiersdorf´s Logistics and VAS activities within Central and Eastern Europe since November 2019. After a successful warehouse tender lead together with the Global Procurement Department, he was appointed to lead the HUB CEE Transfer Project DESERVE. From September 2022 he is shaping Beiersdorf´s global logistics network as Head of Global LSP Transfer Team. Before moving to Beiersdorf, he worked as an Executive Member at MCI d.o.o. Siroki Brijeg, providing high quality distribution services to multinational companies like Beiersdorf, GlaxoSmithKline, Lesaffre, and Nestle etc. Next to his business role, he is holding an university department at the Fachhochschule Oberösterreich, University of Applied Science, where he teaches Logistics Technology. In 2014 he got his PhD in Economics from the University of Split in Croatia.

Sandra Zechmeister is the project lead for sustainability at cargo-partner and general secretary of “environmental cargo-partners e.V.” With a proven record in project management and supply chain management, Sandra Zechmeister is responsible for the establishment of the ESG strategy and the implementation of sustainability measures at cargo-partner group. Tomáš Hofer holds a Masters in Logistics Technologies and he is the Logistics Director at Notino since 2015. “The AUDI HUNGARIA Zrt. invites you on a tour of the factory. We’ll introduce you to every step of the car production process. On our tour, you can see how the steel and aluminium sheets are milled, cut and formed by the gigantic pressing machines in the press line to create the body parts of various Audi models. Next, you can observe the bewitching dance of the welding robots in the 85% automated body shop, learn about the various connection techniques and watch a car body being assembled.”

EXCURSION TO THE HOUSE OF UNICUM IN BUDAPEST
Visitors will have the opportunity to visit the House of Unicum, to learn more about the world famous Hungarian Zwack Unicum, a liqueur distilled from over forty herbs from all over the world. Furthermore the visit includes a short film about the history of the Zwack family as well as a tour through the distillery and cellar, which spreads over 2,500 square meters underneath the distillery. And certainly visitors will have the chance to taste the world famous liqueur.
The visit is limited for 30 delegates only and available on a first come first serve complimentary basis on the 24th of November from 16:45-18:00.
Visitors can watch a film about the Zwack family’s and the Zwack company’s history as well which is approximately 20 minutes. The Zwack family's fabulous reliques, - the more than 200-hundred-year old herb liqueur - the Unicum's history and several extraordinary bottles can be found in the House of Uni cum. Several curiosities such as an elaborating book in which the „fuel” ’s price - used at that time i.e. corn and rye for the carriage horses with which Unicum was carried to the pubs and restaurants-was written into, a special post card from the First World War, Ady Endre’s (famous Hungarian poet) poems to Mylitta, who was Peter Zwack’s aunt, a Swedish passport issued for Peter Zwack from Raoul Wal lenberg.
Visitors can have a look of some photos from the change of regime time reaching nowadays where the company’s latest success appears, a novelty in the world, the Unicum Plum. With the help of some photos visitors can get an insight of the launching moments of this delicious product and they can take a look behind the scenes as we show the Unicum Plum’s werk film.
