2023 CHAIRPERSON University Professor Dr. Sebastian Kummer Head of the Institute of Transport and Logistics, Vienna University of Economics and Business & Endowed Chair Professor at the Jilin University Changchun, China
Sebastian Kummer started as Researcher and Lecturer at the WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management, Vallendar (1992 Dissertation (Phd), 1996 Habilitation). From 1996-2001 he had the Chair of business administration, esp. management of transport companies and logistics at the Dresden University of Technology. Since 2001 he is the Head of the Institute of Transport and Logistics at Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU). He acts as President, Director and member of advisory boards of many scientific and industry associations. He has been a Co-Executive Director of the European section of the MIT Forum Supply Chain Innovation (2006-2011). Sebastian Kummer has been a visiting professor at universities in Austria, China, Germany, Indonesia, Philippines, Switzerland, Russia, Ukraine and Vietnam. He has written more than 150 publications. His research focuses on Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management as well as on Transport Management and economical analyses of transport infrastructure and services. He works as a consultant and management trainer for companies and government bodies

Stefan Putzlocher has over 20 years of executive experience in the premium automotive industry in the areas of Production, Research & Development and Marketing & Sales. He started his career within the MercedesBenz Graduate Program and continued in several management positions with strong achievements in changing existing operations, e.g. creating successful structures for McLaren Automotive logistics. Also in the United Kingdom, at Mercedes AMG High-Performance Powertrains, which develops and produces the Formula 1 race car engines for Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team, he transformed purchasing and logistics into a powerful organisation. Back in Germany, at the largest MercedesBenz Cars factory in Sindelfingen, he and his team successfully drove significant efficiency improvement programs in the area of production and logistics. Stefan also achieved strongly in building up teams, processes and structures for logistics operations from nil to a hundred, e.g. for the green field factory of Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Hungary. Here in Hungary, he initiated, implemented and steered the 100% outsourced operative logistics to three service providers with around 850 staff members - the first time in this scale within the Daimler AG. Always an eye on the latest technology developments and an early adaptor and implementer of disruptive innovations, he was granted various patents in the field of logistics. Since January 2017 Stefan holds his current position, responsible for the global warehouse and facility planning within Marketing & Sales, Global Service and Parts (GSP), at Mercedes-Benz AG. 1 CONTACT US

Tomáš Hofer Logistics Director, Notino
Strahinja Lazić Tomáš Hofer holds a Masters in Logistics Technologies and he is the Logistics Director at Notino since 2015. In his current position he is responsible for the logistics strategy as well as for the distribution centers in the Czech Republic, Romania, and Italy and since 2023 he is also in charge for Poland. Furthermore he is also managing the Transport Department. Before he joined Notino, Tomáš was working for DHL Supply Chain in various positions.

Lacramioara Boga is Head of Local Procurement in Eastern Europe for Beiersdorf since November 2021, being responsible for: all local Indirect and Marketing spend in the Procurement Unit East Europe, all local endto-end processes and strategies development, according to business need. Before moving to Beiersdorf, she worked as Head of Network Products Hardware Sourcing Romania for Ericsson, being responsible to drive sustainable product cost reductions and secure customer value and satisfaction, to develop the global sourcing organization and drive supply chain efficiency. Prior to that she held for several years a global leading role in a company from the automotive sector.

Director of Logistics, Ferdinand Bilstein South East Europe
Strahinja Lazić is the Director of Logistics at Ferdinand Bilstein South East Europe since 2021. His area of responsibility covers planning, organization and control of transport and storage processes, providing conditions for quality servicing of customer demand and controlling inventory levels. Storage operations management and defining the necessary projects for further improvements of the warehousing business are among his responsibilities among others as well. With over 14 years of experience in logistics and warehousing, Strahinja worked for manufacturers, retailers and consultancy companies such as HBT Logistika (member of Polimark Group), Lidl and FOOD LINK. He holds a master’s degree in Engineering with focus on Logistics, Materials and Supply Chain Management from the University of Belgrade. Andreas Thuy embarked on his career at Schaeffler over a decade ago, where he has held various positions contributing to the company’s success. Initially, he worked as a master planner at the Herzogenaurach plant, responsible for process planning and optimization. After that he joined the Corporate SCM, Purchasing, and Operations department. Mr. Thuy took on several roles within the supply chain, driving improvements in physical logistics planning processes across production plants and network planning and design processes at Schaeffler. Enrico Schlick Specialist Supply Chain Digitalization, Business Product Owner Transportation Data Cube, Schaeffler
Enrico Schlick holds a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management and Information Systems, which he obtained in 2014. Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in activities such as freight tendering, provider management, and has shown a particular interest in transportation data. Currently, Enrico serves as the Product Owner for the Transportation Data Cube at Schaeffler. In this role, he is responsible for managing and overseeing one the company’s key transportation platforms. Enrico’s expertise and passion for transportation data contribute to the optimization of transport operations and improve overall organizational efficiency.

Rositsa has more than than 16 years experience in TESY, holding different positions in Procurement and Sales and leading the newly established Supply Chain structure for almost 3 years now. As an entrepreneur, Dr. Stefan Kremsner has been responsible for the development of industrial projects around algorithms & software for optimization, data analytics and blockchain applications and led research teams around artificial intelligence and stochastic optimization. Together with Dr. Stefan Lendl, he founded the startup “s2 data & algorithms GmbH” out of an exciting transport optimization project of an automotive supplier in 2020. MasterScheduler was born. Specially developed for automotive and related logistics processes, the optimization platform MasterScheduler manages to optimize logistics and material control in inbound, outbound and inter-plant traffic holistically and in full detail. At the same time, the algorithms remain flexibly adaptable to operational constraints and utilize transports in the network significantly better than standard software. Dr. Kremsner studied at the Graz University of Technology and holds a PhD in mathematics from the Karl-Franzens University of Graz, specializing in stochastic optimization and machine learning for high-dimensional problems.

Ilija Coric was managing Beiersdorf´s Logistics and VAS activities within Central and Eastern Europe since November 2019. After a successful warehouse tender lead together with the Global Procurement Department, he was appointed to lead the HUB CEE Transfer Project DESERVE. From September 2022 he is shaping Beiersdorf´s global logistics network as Head of Global LSP Transfer Team. Before moving to Beiersdorf, he worked as an Executive Member at MCI d.o.o. Siroki Brijeg, providing high quality distribution services to multinational companies like Beiersdorf, GlaxoSmithKline, Lesaffre, and Nestle etc. Next to his business role, he is holding an university department at the Fachhochschule Oberösterreich, University of Applied Science, where he teaches Logistics Technology. In 2014 he got his PhD in Economics from the University of Split in Croatia.
