Religions are the
Surely, you know that all religions are the same. They talk about how they know it all, how that they have all the answers. Religionists never change, they are always certain that their way is the best way. But have you ever noticed that “their way never fixes all the problems in their lives? As a matter of fact most of these religious people are either miserable or at best they are euphorically happy for no real reason.
If you are a religious person please do not be offended, but give me just a moment to explain why I think this way. If you agree with me that all religions are the same, keep reading. What Religion Teaches All religions teach that you must do something in order to please God or find eternal bliss. There are a myriad of combinations that can be found in hundreds of religions. Yet, they all come down to how well you do what they say or how much work you do.
Muslims must pray five times a day and defend their faith. Catholics must do the stations of the cross and confess their sins to a priest. Mormons must be baptised and keep the law of their god. The Hare Krishnas must chant Hare Krishna and Hare Rama. Zen Buddhists must clear their minds of all outside thoughts and meditate on nothing, because logic is useless. Jehovah's Witnesses must knock on doors and sell magazines. Religion is all about you proving how good you are or how much you can abase yourself.
You can see that these religions are all the same, because they all teach that you are the one that must do the work necessary for your own eternal bliss. On the Other Hand On the other hand the God that created you does not care for religion. God has said that we need to be done with religion. “And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Acts 17:30 After all, what are you going to do that will impress God? Your Creator is not interested in what
you can do. He has already done all that is necessary for your happiness now and forever. You see, you are a sinner and you can not get rid of your sin by your actions. As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: Romans 3:10 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. Romans 4:4
But God has provided a way for your sins to be forgiven. He sent his son Jesus to be the perfect sacrifice for the forgiveness of your sins. For when we were yet without
strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. Romans 5:6 Jesus, the Son of God came and made it possible for you to be right with God. And there is nothing you have to do, simply believe that Christ died for you. “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 3:36
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2:8
Everything necessary for your happiness now and for eternity, God has done. When Jesus died on the cross to take your sins away, the work was finished. Simply confess to God that you know you are a sinner. In your own words tell him that you believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Then ask Him to forgive your sins by Jesus' sacrifice.
Please let us know what your decision is and thank you for taking the time to read this.
