Concerned

I'm concerned for You!

Hello, neighbour, I can see that you are a good upstanding member of our community. I know that you are active in several community efforts and you take good care of your family.

But, quite frankly, I'm concerned for you!

I know that you support your local youth sports teams and that you always give to worthy causes. I see you supporting your children's schools in all their varied activities. You are to be commended for your efforts to better our society.

But, quite frankly, I'm concerned for you!

I know that your friends and neighbours depend on your support and aid.

There are many people that look to you for help and comfort. You are a valuable member of our community.

But, quite frankly, I'm concerned for you!

Concerned for what?

You see there is one area of your life that you may not have given much thought.

There is one very important aspect of life that may be missing in your daily life.

You may still have a very large void in your life.

Your spirit may be depressed and hurting.

The inner man in your heart may be aching for a renewal, to know the joy that comes from knowing God. Your heart has a need for change and is broken over spiritual failures.

The Solution

I am concerned that you may have been deterred in your search for God. The need for each of us to be reconciled to our Creator is great. Your heart and spirit desire a real relationship with the God that gave you life.

Jesus said, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.�

Matthew 7:13,14 By these verses we know that the majority of people will not seek out eternal life through Jesus Christ.

I am not singling you out, I am just afraid that you are going the way of the majority.

You see there is only one way to have our sins forgiven and Jesus is that way.

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6 The Bible says, “. . . the blood of Jesus Christ his son cleanseth us from all sin.”

1 John 1:7 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 The rest is up to us. It is up to us to receive or reject Christ's sacrifice on Calvary.

The Bible says that Jesus is the only way to heaven.

“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.” Acts 16:31 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Romans 10:9-10,13 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8, 9

Many of us have already made the choice to accept the free gift of God in Jesus Christ. Now it is your time to accept or reject Jesus, it is your choice, dear neighbour.

“The Lord is…. not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9 “For he saith… behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” 2 Corinthians 6:2 The choice is yours now! Will you accept or reject this great sacrifice that Christ made for you on the cross?

“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.�

John 3:36 Jesus died on the cross to take your sins away, Simply tell God in your own words that you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Then ask God to forgive your sins by Jesus' sacrifice.
