Welcome to the 12th edition of the Te Atatu AFC Newsletter.
First off, as per the cover photo, congratulations to Losi and Sepe for their selection in the Tuvalu National Team that will compete in the Pacific Games. Drawn against Solomon Islands, New Caledonia, Tahiti, American Samoa and Fiji (who will have Roy Krishna playing), we are immensely proud of them here at TAT, we know the boys will put in some great shifts there and show the heart and passion they show here week in and week out. Coach Danny and Social Media Manager Connor presented the posters, and Danny did himself proud with a good 5 minutes out of his comfort zone speaking Tuvaluan in front of the lads, their families and the wider club members & visitors.
Although we had mixed results last weeks, we had both Men’s and Women’s first teams hit the net 5 times in great wins, and our Men’s Reserves beat top of the table Beachlands, while the TAT Blue side hit 4 times, and 17th Grade boys also recorded a good win against East Coast Bays.
