Welcome to the latest edition of the Te Atatu AC newsletter. On the cover we have hat-trick hero Zen Baatjes from last Saturday’s win over South Auckland Rangers. The lads turned around a 5-1 halftime deficit to draw 5 all in a performance that epitomised the heart and passion of this little club of ours. That draw contributed to a Super Saturday for the club, with no Men’s games lost over the weekend, with Men’s Reserves, Birthday Boys, Footy Westerlies and Wild Stallions all winning. Big Congrats to the Stallions for their first win, according to all reports the way they play, run and battle hasn’t reflected in the results this year so it’s great to get the reward they deserve! Unfortunately, Sunday was not as successful, but our 17th grade side continues to impress beating rivals Ranui, so well done in your grading rounds.
This weekend sees 5 games at home, with the Men’s Firsts and Reserves playing Papatoetoe, Wild Stallions vs Takapuna, and Birthday Boys playing Puhoi on the Saturday.
