3 da ys after o ur w edding day, we left for O ahu! We di dn' t w a nt t o vis it a new is land - w e j ust w anted to go t o t hi s f a m i l i a r pl a c e t h a t w e l ove so m uch. After doing much res e a rc h a nd re a di ng r e vie ws on tripad visor.com, w e decided on R e s ort Q ue s t Wa i k i k i B e a ch .

Th e h otel is located right across the street f rom Wa i k i k i B e a c h, a n d fr om our hotel room we enjoyed view s of t he oc e a n and Diamond Head. The hotel was within walking distance to e ve r yt hing - the H onolulu Zoo, Kapiolani Par k , s hoppi ng a nd our fa vo r it e res taurant on the island SanSei Sea f ood, w hi c h w a s a b o n u s fo r us! T he hotel's décor could be de s c ri be d a s "hi p and relaxed", and fun for couples and families (we missed our k ids !!!) T he o pen air pool area offers cabana - s t y l e que e n- s i z e lo u n g e s fo r relaxing and soaking up the sun. The pool l e v e l a l s o h o u s e s T iki's R estaurant which has tasty dishe s a nd dr i nk s , and o ffe r s live m us ic EVERY SINGLE NIGHT - no c ov e r and ope n t o non-hotel patrons too!

T h e m inute w e bo arded t he plane, we instan t l y f e l t re l a xe d a nd ela t e d! W e filled the week with a hike to t he t op of Di a m ond Head, parasailing, jet skiing, LOTS of eating and managed to eve n watch a co upl e of our favorite island ar t i s t s pe r f orm - F i j i an d Keahi W ai. T hat w as the cherry on top for us m us i c - l ov e rs !

Wedding Coordin ator - Rachel Semanisin If it weren't for Rachel, we would not have been able to relax and enjoy our wedding day as much as we did. She really took control of the day and made sure that ever y last detail was handle d with care and that the "unexpected" was taken care of. We d id not worr y about a single thing because we had so much confidence in Rachel. She was a breath of fresh air during a stressful time of planning! And she reassured us that ever ything would run smoothly, a nd it did!
