MEREDITH SILVERMAN | A ssistant Director of Education

Over the past four years at Temple, Meredith has proven to be a dynamic and engaging teacher. She’s the creative brain behind so many of BFRS’s special programs during the last two years (including the 3/4th Shabbaton, Gathering Sparks and our end-of-year picnic). We are so excited to welcome her in this role!

A Message from Meredith:

As a career educator, helping children find their “ah-ha” moments has been one of my greatest joys. When I became a parent to my two daughters, I realized how important sharing with them my Jewish community and culture became.

Working as the Assistant Director of Education for the Religious School, I have the unique opportunity and privilege to join these two passions: to help create “ah-ha” moments for the many children of the Bridge Family Religion School; helping each child grow in understanding their own Jewish identity, culture, and community.

Meredith will be running all aspects of the Sunday morning Bellevue program, helping to support our teachers, developing our curriculum, and continuing to plan amazing special programs.

JESSIE STOTT | Assistant Director, Hebrew and Teen Programming

Jessie has spent the past few years innovating our 5th and 6th grade Hebrew program while teaching at the same time. Jessie has such a passion for making sure our kids connect in a meaningful and positive way and we are so excited to have her in this role.

A Message from Jessie:

I am so excited to be transitioning into my next role as Assistant Director of Hebrew and Teen Programming. This year, I look forward to partnering with our teachers to continue expanding our programming and creating experiences for our students that are positive and supportive. I will also continue to coordinate most of our high school programming, including Madrichim, TDSY (Temple De Hirsch Sinai Youth) Tuesday, Confirmation, Senior Sessions and Graduation, and travel opportunities. Both roles focus on providing all students a space to be themselves, building and strengthening relationships, exploring new concepts, and discovering their personal Jewish identity.

EIAN SNYDER | Youth Engagement & Tiyulim Coordinator

Now on staff full time, Eian has already contributed so much to BFRS, from teaching 3rd grade Hebrew to co-leading the Tiyulim program last year.

A Message from Eian:

Hello everyone! My name is Eian Snyder and I am a fresh graduate from Western Washington University, where I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management and Jewish Leadership.

I have had the privilege of working at TDHS for the past three years as a Hebrew school teacher, Sunday school teacher, and preschool teacher at JRM! Working and connecting youth to their Jewish identity and Jewish community through meaningful and engaging programming is a strong passion of mine, and being able to do that in a community I have watched grow through my years at TDHS, Camp Kalsman, and NFTY makes that even more special. I look forward to the great memories and growth that lie ahead.

Eian will be running our Tiyulim (7th grade) program, as well as all things youth group/ social programming for 678 Events and TDSY (9th-12th). Eian is planning to expand our social programming to include K-5th graders, so stay tuned!
