TCHC TEAM DAY AT GRANGEWATERS
TCHC employees came together for a staff away day at Grangewaters Outdoor Educational Centre in Thurrock. Everyone took part in a range of fun activities including archery, wall climbing, abseiling, bush crafting, and even a zip line!
Courtney Grinham, Managing Director said; "It was great for all of us to get together and for our teams from different offices/centres to see each other and meet new faces Some revealed their hidden talents whilst others confronted their fears "

AUTISM ACCEPTANCE MONTH
We celebrated Autism Awareness Month at our GAPS centres. Our team at Dunstable reflected on how our GAPS Study Programme supports autistic young people with their growth and development
Our Centre Manager at the Dunstable Centre Stacey said; “Here at the Dunstable GAPS Centre we support young people with neurodiverse needs such as Autism to improve on their independence, social skills and work skills. We do this by giving them a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where they then have the confidence to overcome their barriers Along the way we also create strategies to support them to progress and achieve ”
Our learners at the GAPS Thurrock Stanley Lazell Centre did some colourful and creative arts and crafts activities

Our Learning Support Assistant Charmaine said this about their d velopment; “The learners are mazing, every day is different d very rewarding.”
Wayne Taylor our Director of Youth Programmes said this; "TCHC have developed a bespoke pathway to support young people with autism to support them into sustainable jobs to ensure they achieve a fulfilling future. We are keen to work with like-minded local employers to develop even more opportunities for our learners and to support employers to understand how to make adaptations that maybe required to ensure smooth transitions where required "

NEW PETERBOROUGH CENTRE
Our GAPS team at Peterborough moved into their new centre in the middle of Cathedral Square The new centre is easily accessible, with double the classrooms and a kitchen for learners
Our Centre Manager Kelly said; "I’m excited to bring the teams' vision of “nurture, growth and development” to the centre and all the young people we will support over the coming years "
