He honed his agency skills in London before returning to the Cotswolds over a decade ago. Office Manager Tina joined Hayman-Joyce in 1997 and has been a key member of the team from the day she started.

Senior Negotiator Sarah has been with Hayman-Joyce since 2002. Sarah has over two decades experience of the Cotswold market which, when added to her amazing ability to build long-term relationships, makes her a highly successful agent. This year Sarah was shortlisted for ‘Best Negotiator Sales’ at the EA Masters People Awards. Sarah lives locally with her husband and two children and enjoys travelling and socialising.

MNAEA Partner John joined the Hayman-Joyce team in 2006 having previously worked in the industry for corporate competitors since 1989. He is involved in the sales process from start to finish and is ably assisted by other experienced members of the team. FRICS Consultant Jasper has been an estate agent for over 45 years, most of which have been spent in the Cotswolds.

Starting his career in 1975 Jasper moved to the Cotswolds in 1980. In 1991 he joined Strutt & Parker as head of the agency department in their Moreton-inMarsh office, which he ran for nearly 20 years. In 2010 he returned to London as head of Carter Jonas’ London country department.

BSc Hons Negotiator Anna grew up on the Sherborne Estate and now lives with her husband and their children on a farm just outside Bourton-on-the-Water. Having joined Hayman-Joyce in 2020 she now supports both the sales and lettings teams. Anna enjoys the diversity that every day brings, working with super colleagues and driving the famous HJ1 Land Rover.

She lives in Cheltenham with Chris, a civil servant and member of Bourton Road Runners.

MNAEA BSc Hons Senior Sales Negotiator Tom brings with him 25 years of agency experience, having managed several offices in his time and reaching the dizzy heights of associate director in his last position. FARLA Senior Lettings Negotiator Sue joined Hayman-Joyce at the end of 2020 bringing with her a wealth of experience in residential lettings and property management. Having worked in lettings in the area since 2002, her experience covers all aspects from finding the best tenants for our landlords to managing the tenancies and properties thereafter. Sue grew up in the area and continues to live locally with her family. Sue recently won ‘Best Negotiator Lettings’ at the EA Masters People Awards.

I’ve spent most of my life in the Cotswolds - my first five years in Milton-under-Wychwood before moving to Barton-on-the-Heath in the mid-eighties.

I went to school at Kitebrook, then Winchester House, followed by Bloxham, and took a gap year to Australia before reading Geography at Exeter University.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree, and a spell at Hayman-Joyce, I moved to London joining Winkworth in their Westminster and Pimlico branch.

Armed with a telephone and an ‘applicant box’, I rapidly learnt to build relationships and achieve sales in a predominantly commission led environment. Qualifying as a member of the Propertymark National Association of Estate Agents and consistently being the best negotiator by exceeding ambitious targets in the office, were my highlights.

Wanting to broaden my experience, I moved to Savills in their Richmond-upon-Thames office. Firstly, building the Savills’ core market (properties selling between £500,000 and £1,250,000) and then selling and pitching for property across all price ranges.

After seven years in London, I returned to Hayman-Joyce in 2010 and in 2014, I purchased the business.

In February 2022 I passed my APC to become a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) further developing my skill set and knowledge base.

Outside work, I’m never happier than spending time with my wife Amy and daughters Beatrice and Edith. We live in Cold Aston and enjoy the wonderful family life the Cotswolds offers. My passions are motorsport, squash, skiing, mountain biking, entertaining, family time and supporting our girls with their pony riding.

I believe in giving back to the local community, to that end I’m a trustee and former Chair of Moreton Show Society which runs the largest one-day agricultural show in the country. The society is the cornerstone of the Cotswolds and all it stands for. The staff at Hayman-Joyce were proactive and helpful throughout the sale process. An excellent and attractive brochure led to a good number of viewings by interested parties from a wide range of sources.

The property went on the market at the start of a difficult market so took some time to finally achieve an acceptable buyer, but the energy levels and ideas from the team did not diminish at any point and produced a steady flow of viewings. I was kept fully informed throughout the process.

I was impressed with the honesty shown when selling my mother’s house. Once an offer was received, I was regularly updated as to progress with the sale.

Obtaining probate delayed the sale slightly but once this was obtained a date for completion was agreed and Tom helped overcome all the issues that arise to ensure this date was met.

After being approached to join the firm, John commenced his career with Hayman-Joyce in 2006 specialising in the sale of residential properties.

amilla works in Client Care and joined the team in October 2023. She has an extensive background in property, having worked as a PA for a busy architectural practice in London and for a building surveyor in Berkshire for many years.

Camilla moved to the Cotswolds in 2011 and embarked on the total refurbishment of a Grade II Listed thatched cottage near Chipping Norton. She now lives in the highly sought after village of Chadlington where she enjoys walking and being part of the active village community.

As a Cordon Bleu chef and fully qualified beauty therapist and lecturer, she has also worked in the hospitality and beauty industries. She has worked in

He has spent over 45 years as a well-known agent dealing with all types of property mainly across the Cotswolds, but also around the country.

Jasper has spent the majority of his working life as an estate agent in the Cotswolds. Although brought up in Warwickshire, he fell in love with the Cotswolds whilst a student at the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester in the early 70’s.

On leaving Cirencester, Jasper embarked on his chosen career as an estate agent and started in the country house department of Savills, based in their head office in Mayfair in 1975 and qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 1979.

However, the attraction of the Cotswolds proved too much and in 1980 he returned to Gloucestershire to take up a new job with Rylands & Co in Cirencester, later moving in 1991 to run Strutt & Parker agency department in their recently opened office, which he did for nearly 20 years.

In 2010 Jasper was enticed back to Mayfair to head up the London country department for Carter Jonas, dealing with the sale of country houses, farms and estates all over the country, and to sit in an office literally on the other side of a street in Mayfair from the office he had left 30 years earlier!

In 2017 Jasper was invited by Tom Hayman-Joyce to return to the Cotswolds and become a Consultant with the firm and to assist Tom and the team. He has spent over 45 years as a well-known agent dealing with all types of property, mainly across the Cotswolds, but also around the country. Sarah and Tom were given a very warm welcome at St David’s C of E Primary School. They presented the winners of the colouring competition with certificates and Easter eggs... although all of the children were gifted eggs to enjoy.

dam’s career in the property industry started back in 2007 when he joined a national firm of estate agents as a trainee negotiator.

mma, who works as a Senior Lettings Negotiator in our thriving lettings department, joined our team in January 2018 and has over 18 years of experience in the industry within both sales and lettings.

Having worked in both fields, formerly a member of the NAEA and now a fully qualified member of ARLA, she has a full and knowledgeable understanding of the housing market, which always comes in useful when helping people negotiate the tricky waters of the moving process.

ue joined Hayman-Joyce in November 2020 bringing with her a wealth of experience in residential lettings and property management. Having worked in the lettings industry within the area since 2002, her experience covers all aspects of the letting and management of landlords’ property. Sue’s experience also includes many years of residential estate management, incorporating a vast range of challenges. She continues to grow her vast knowledge of the ever-changing regulations relating to lettings, keeping up to date at all times.

In 2013 Sue completed her Level 4 qualification awarding her Fellow Member status of the Association of Residential Letting Agents, Propertymark.

Sue has recently won the ‘Best Negotiator Lettings’ award bestowed by Best Estate Agency Guide UK 2025.

The honour was presented to Sue at the EA Masters People Awards, which took place in London in the autumn of 2024, after being nominated and undergoing an interview by the board.
