QT* Cabaret is a place for transgender and gender queer people to release their energy, in many forms, for many reasons. It is a place for cabaret ideas and act creation to manifest and empower these communities. It's also just a place for anyone to see some weird shit. Vallen-Dies Day is a special day to us all, celebrating love, lust, and loss. Coming together to celebrate the most important love of all, of self.

Everyone is invited to our annual picnic, including your fave fur baby. Bring a picnic rug, snacks, drinks, umbrella and dress for the weather.
Enjoy the TasPride BBQ and entertainment including music, stalls, games and don’t forget to dress for success (you and your fur baby) for the very silly Big Gay Pet Parade! Madge Lowestoft enjoyed a picnic, and her favourite Festival event was the TasPride Picnic.
Madge was a much loved Rainbow Community elder, she brought optimism, enthusiasm, a finely tuned understanding of fairness and a wickedly cheeky sense of humour to every event she came to. When someone new was sitting alone, it was Madge who said hi and made them feel welcome.
When things were going badly in a campaign for equality, Madge was there handing out her trademark DIY rainbow bead brooches and gentle words of encouragement. We miss her mischievous smile, and her wisdom, and it seemed only right to rename the picnic in her memory.
Dance on Madge.
