CARDIAC CARE

From discovery to recovery, we need to detect the problem before we can treat it. Having the proper equipment is critical in diagnosing our patients.

DONATIONS SAVE LIVES OUR VALUES

Having the right equipment can save a patient’s life. And sometimes miracles happen. It’s true. Just ask the physicians and nurses in our Cath Lab. In November 2015, Patricia Pratt went into cardiac arrest and a team of SAH caregivers worked to continually resuscitate her. A special piece of equipment - an intra-aortic balloon pump - helped keep her alive and stable while she was transported to Sudbury. Without this equipment the cardiac team would not have been able to save her. This life-saving equipment was purchased just months before Patti’s incident. Your donation made the purchase of this equipment possible. Your donation helped save Patti’s life. Your donation matters.
