SMALL BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT

We are excited to feature Flower Snobs as this month's Pct. 1 Small Business Spotlight. Flower Snobs is a family-owned and operated group of designers specializing in fun, fresh, and whimsical designs. As a "flower snob," this shop does not sell carnations, daisies, baby's breath, or leather leaf. They use all upscale flowers when creating an arrangement just for you. Flower Snobs is obsessed with their jobs and always try new things to customize orders.

"The fact that we get to add beauty to all moments—daddy-daughter dances, proms, graduations, funerals, weddings, get-wells, romance, new homes, gotcha days, first chemo treatments, divorce parties, adoptions—all of the occasions in someone's life—is why we so adore our careers as florists and the community we do it for! Every order that crosses a desk here is made as if it is going to one of our friends or family members!," say owners Holli and Carlie Ackerman.

Give Flower Snobs a call or pop in and see their amazing gift store as well as meet their crew!

MAY IS MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH

JPS: LEADING BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CARE IN TARRANT COUNTY-NOW EVEN CLOSER TO HOME

As the largest provider of behavioral health services in Tarrant County, JPS Health Network offers expert care for adults and teens through both inpatient and outpatient programs, as well as outpatient services for children experiencing mental health challenges.

Right here in Precinct 1, JPS recently opened Medical Home Southwest Tarrant, a new full-service health center that offers extensive behavioral health services for adults and children age 6 and older. This addition expands access to counseling, crisis intervention and psychiatric care — ensuring more families in this community can get the support they need, close to home.

From our 24/7 Psychiatric Emergency Center on the JPS main campus to outpatient programs and on-site behavioral health support in many of our locations throughout the county, JPS is committed to meeting individuals where they are — making it easier to access care and helping people thrive at every stage of their mental health journey.

To find a clinic or learn more, visit jpshealthnet.org or call 817-702-3100.
