VISTA The main exhibition space is sunken underwater, allowing the deck to become a floating urban plaza that emphasizes the riverside view ADAPTIVE USE Combining the structure with an old feeder boat to minimize height that could interrupt the iconic horizon of Chaopraya River and Bangkok

TRADITIONAL PATTERN We interpret the architecture of museum as a reflection of its place and time. Combining the technology of the 21st century, parametric design, with something we see everyday like woven bamboo, the structure mimics the arts and crafts of traditional Thai rattan work.

INTEGRATION The idea of connecting the floating museum with existing docks expands and creates a new public space that encourages human interaction and adds "breathing space" for the city

Site: Chaopraya river, Ayutthaya Area: 100 m² Year: 2012 This is the first architectural design in my academic life. We were given an opportunity to choose our own homeowner as an inspiration. This project was based on Satoshi Kon, my favorite animator. Satoshi Kon worked in the creative field, so the spatial landscape and the breezy outdoor terrace would be useful for nurturing a clear and limitless mind. The house consisted of one bedroom, one bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, and home office. The bedroom could be transformed into a hometheater for him to seek inspirations. The atmosphere's main focus is the natural lighting and openings that frame and connect the outside scenery to the user's eye-level of the activities of each interior area, resulting in the seemingly randomly-placed windows, which are actually specifically placed. ◄ Final model | ▲ Study model

Site: Bangkok Area: 200 m² Year: 2012 The program is to create an architecture that houses a nuclear family of four. Our group instructor said, "We all receive similar program, so the concept is what makes your work truly yours" This project's metaphorical concept came from the properties of a spider web. A spider web is a home of a spider, made up of grids and an instinctive sense of order. This house was designed exclusively in grids, composed of spiral circulation and orderly juxtaposition of masses. The first floor is a family area with a living room, a kitchen, dining room, and a garage, while bedrooms are on the second floor. The structure was designed to simultaniously represent the spider web's suspension property while supporting the building with tensile structure and post-beam structure. ◄ Final model | ▲ Study model

This public space reclaimation project focuses on revitalizing the old market into a new commercial and community plaza. With "playground" as a concept, I looked up the book called Playground & Play Apparatus from the Process series and designed this project based on the five characteristics of playground spaces. The market consists of a riverside gathering space, a market, restaurants, and an exhibition hall. The aim is 1. natural play area to bring joyfulness and livelihood of the playground 2. open space experience back into people's lives via architecture, 3. streets using curved circulations and form to encourage flow 4. adventurous space of connection. 5. hideout ◄ Final model detail | ▲ Final model detail

Site: Pakkred, Nonthaburi Area: 20,000 m² Year: 2014 This project is the Central Library of the new campus of UTCC in Pakkred. The architecture has three different criterias to fulfill: a meeting place, a landmark, and a gateway. As the node of the whole campus, the open space on the ground floor connects the four parts of the campus. The form is meant to be monumental and iconic, as I simply would like to create something the students would be proud to take their graduation photo in front of as a symbol of their university, and also a symbol of their success. The library consists of a cafe, an office, the library, and an additional function that I added which is the panoramic scenic point at the highest floor, where students and teachers can come to look around their campus, and have a transcendencing experience. ◄ Final model | ▲ Ground floor plan | ▲ Section isometric

Site: Thonglor, Bangkok Area: 3000 m² (footprint) Year: 2014 This project is called "The Teak Hotel," for teak is the local tropical hardwood tree of Thailand with an image of luxury, class, and strength, resulting in the design of this high-rise building. The design of the wooden facade is derived from the characteristics of a tradional Thai house which mainly uses double beam structures. Upon entrance, users can experience the tropical paradise that is what we want hotel guests to remember Thailand as. This building consists of a 24-floor tower and a 4-floor podium, with all facility of a five star hotel, surrounding a courtyard with a gigantic tree. ◄ Perspective | ► Final model

"Air Phenomenon" Totem Tom Tom Collaborator: Arch CU STU79 Year: 2013 Every year, faculty of architecture hosts a ritual for welcoming freshmen to our family and one of the longest running tradition is called Tom Tom Night, where our little sisters and brothers would dance around a totem pole. This totem is the first totem in history of the tradition to have 2 phases: phase one, Rainbow Storm, and phase two after the dance, Clear Sky. Using human labor to pull the ribbons up and down to change the color and the look of the totem, this project brought out our creativity, unity, and spirit of togetherness.
