Join us for the most magical event of the year.
Our annual Farm Supper is a festive evening including a tour of the farm where the food for your CSA and most of the food at Wise Acre is grown. You'll also meet our handsome herd of Scottish Highland cattle along with turkeys, heritage-breed pigs, and chickens.
Following the tour, sit down to a beautiful multi-course dinner prepared by the Wise Acre culinary team with a menu featuring the best of the farm's peak-season produce and ingredients. (S) - Small Share, (M) - Medium Share, (L) - Large Share
This key indicates which share sizes get what produce. Different share sizes will often receive different produce. We will vary what goes into the share each week to spread the bounty equitably to all members.
There are times when mother nature puts a kink in our plans, so while we can't guarantee that all of these items will be in your share, you can expect to see most of them and sometimes a few extras.
Add-on’s this week: Bread - Good wich

Check out Chef Dan’s recipe for using our farm fresh celery below.
Chef Dan of the Wise Acre Kitchen shares his insight and a recipe for farm fresh celery.
Celery is often used as a crunch addition to chicken salad, stir fry's, pizza, potato salad, or as the base for a soup. Those are all great ways to use celery but I like to explore the flavors of the produce. This is a favorite dish of mine that is simple, unique, and highlights the celery we grow on our farm.
The farm celery, is much more fibrous than what you buy at the grocery store and has a mild anise flavor. It is best cooked vs. raw and the unique flavors shine in a braise, roast, or soup.
This soup is perfect to serve before a beef entrée or on a chilly afternoon, like the weather we are going to have this week!Add a piece of garlic toast as a
great compliment.
1 onion chopped
3 cloves of garlic chopped
1 head of Tangletown Gardens Farm celery chopped
½ lb Butter
2 cups stock
1 cup cream
½ cup white wine
Salt & Pepper
Serves 2-4
Melt Butter
Add the chopped veggies
Cook over low heat until veggies are super soft
Add white wine
Simmer for 10 minutes
Add stock & cream
Bring to simmer
Blend
Serve & enjoy!
