(S) - Small Share, (M) - Medium Share, (L) - Large Share

This key indicates which share sizes get what produce. Different share sizes will often receive different produce. We will vary what goes into the share each week to spread the bounty equitably to all members.

There are times when mother nature puts a kink in our plans, so while we can't guarantee that all of these items will be in your share, you can expect to see most of them and sometimes a few extras.

Chef Dan of the Wise Acre Kitchen shares his insight on maximizing your CSA. Cabbage is an incredibly versatile vegetable. It can be eaten raw, slow-cooked, stuffed, grilled, smoked, and fermented into tons of flavorful dishes.

Grilled Cabbage

1 head of cabbage

1/4 Cup tomato paste

1/4 Cup Olive Oil

2 TBSP Salt

1 TBSP Pepper

1 tsp Chili flake

2 TBSP Worcestershire sauce

My favorite things to do with cabbage are to make a simple slaw or to grill it.

Here is my recipe for an easy, but amazing preparation for cabbage, enjoy!

Cut cabbage into quarters lengthwise. Leave the core intact. In a bowl, whisk together remaining ingredients. Coat cabbage thoroughly with marinade.

Grill on high heat until cabbage is softened and the outside is starting to blacken. If you want an even softer texture, reduce grill heat or finish in the oven, covered, after grilling.
