WELCOME TO 2023 CSA - Week 1

(S) - Small Share, (M) - Medium Share, (L) - Large Share

This key indicates which share sizes get what produce. Different share sizes will often receive different produce. We will vary what goes into the share each week

to spread the bounty equitably to all members.

There are times when mother nature puts a kink in our plans, so while we can't guarantee that all of these items will be in your share, you can expect to see most of them and sometimes a few extras.

Did you know? Rhubarb is a member of the buckwheat family and is a vegetable, not a fruit.

So many great uses for scapes! One of my favorites is a compound butter.

Stir fry is one of my favorite ways to cook CSA veggies. Here is a great stir fry class.

This week’s assortment includes rosemary, thyme, oregano & sage.

Our Farm Day is the perfect family event! It is a day full of food and fun including:

Farm-inspired picnic lunch prepared by the talented culinary staff from Wise Acre Eatery, included with ticket purchase

Farm tours with Farmer Dean

Kid’s activities including haystack fun and tractor ride

You can see where 80 - 95% of the food at Wise Acre is grown.

You can also meet our beautiful herd of Scottish Highland Cattle, turkeys, heritage bred pigs and chickens.

CSA's must be picked up at your selected location & time

New members (or returning members who have misplaced their bag) will receive a new reusable bag week 1

We are not able to hold shares overnight - please make sure to pick your share up at your designated location & time

Market-Style Pickup at Wise Acre & Spirit of Hope with share table.

All other pick-up locations are pre-boxed.

What to do if you are going to be gone:

Have a friend or family member pick up your share under your name.

If you cannot find anyone else to pick up your share please email csa@tangletowngardens.com as soon as possible so we can donate your share.

CSA Share Partner Add-On info:

Baker's Field Bread - will be every week Mushroom, Cheese, and Coffee shares- start week 2. Mushroom & Cheese will be every other week, always on the 'even' weeks. Coffee will be 4 times - Weeks 2, 6, 10, and 14.

There will be NO CSA the week of July 2nd due to the the 4th of July Holiday.
