(S) - Small Share, (M) - Medium Share, (L) - Large Share
This key indicates which share sizes get what produce. Different share sizes will often receive different produce. We will vary what goes into the share each week to spread the bounty equitably to all members.
There are times when mother nature puts a kink in our plans. We can't guarantee that all of these items will be in your share, but you can expect to see most of them (and sometimes a few extras).

We often feature Chef Dan of Wise Acre in this section with tips, tricks, videos, and recipes that help CSA shareholders get the best out of their share. While Dan is an absolute expert, cooking for a restaurant is markedly different from the way most of us cook at home. Recipes for restaurants are often large batches and involve multiple steps and equipment that we regular folk don’t have in our home kitchens.
I'll be here occasionally to offer a different perspective. I'll share my approach to taking full advantage of my CSA share and the tools I use to fumble my way to serving great local food in my home.
The key to wowing people is to start with great ingredients. So, congrats! You are already way ahead of most home cooks. The fresh veggies (and meats) from Tangletown Garden Farm are a game changer for elevating the end product on the dinner table.
Next step: get some help! Even when Dan and I are designing menus for private events, brunches, or a daily special, we use tools to help us. My go-to site is Serious Eats. It has recipes, how-to’s, step-by-step instructions, and best of all, it’s free! This is my #1 resource for all things for cooking at home. I'm a fan of the J. Kenji López-Alt recipes and articles in particular
My backup site is NYT Cooking It has a treasure trove of recipes and it will give you an idea of the time and difficulty involved in each. It's not free but it's a great value for the price of the subscription

We are not able to hold shares overnight - please make sure to pick your share up at your designated location & time
Market-Style Pickup at Wise Acre & Spirit of Hope
All other pick-up locations are pre-boxed.
What to do if you are going to be gone:
Have a friend or family member pick up your share under your name.
If you cannot find anyone else to pick up your share please email csa@tangletowngardens.com as soon as possible so we can donate your share
Need to make a change or add/change an email to your account?
All changes to the CSA or email changes must be submitted via the Change/Update Email Form

Our online Farm Direct Store is open for orders ANYTIME!
Pick up every Tuesday and Thursday from 2-6pm at Wise Acre or from 2pm-6pm Thursdays at our farm. Place your order by noon on Monday and Wednesday for next day pick up. (No pick-ups July 4)
Shop Wise Acre in-person for house-made provisions as well as additional produce, eggs, and meat straight from the Farm. Open daily. Sunday & Monday 8-3, Tuesday-Saturday 8-6 (Closed July 4)
